  1. No, banks ALWAYS come first. DECOM the factories, you don't need to buy infra anytime soon, given that it's the cause of your problem right now. Factories reduce initial cost, not upkeep. The resulting rise in tank upkeep wouldn't be significant enough to keep the factories from coming down. EDIT: Examining your nation, I've found these problems: 1. You doubled up a resource. Make sure you don't have two trades with the same resources, you have 5 trades but 11 resources. Although it'd be cool, resources don't double up (i.e. if you have two wines, you don't get +8 happiness, only 4). 2. YOU NEED SOME LAND. You have a 1:10 land/infra ratio, which really sucks. Although it's difficult and costs some moolah to keep up, try and get it to 1:2 land/infra. I'm working on that right now, it increases your environment which, in turn, increases your happiness and citizen count. 3. Get into a trade guild. You have three nonessential resources: LEAD, GEMS, AND WINE. Yes, they increase happiness, but you should go for bonus resources that give you more happiness and reduce infra upkeep/price. Go for the construction/beer/fast food set, for an example of the resources needed, check my nation. Given your resources, you could also go for one of the high-end sets, whose bonus resources escape me... lemme see... cars, asphalt, microchips, radiation cleanup, construction, and beer I believe. Very nice set. The following are speculations, given that I can't confirm them without spying on you. 4. Are your trade partners on black team, or are you mixing color? Try and get all your trades on the same team, that's 5 happiness right there. 5. Is your gov/religion what your people want? Religion should always be adjusted, but tell me what your people prefer on gov. If it's revolutionary, be revolutionary. If it's republic, be republic. There's one other case, but I can't remember it. See if your alliance has a government choice guide. Other than that, you're good. You have a nice resource drop, so you have possibility for any set. Gold is a needed part of the big set I mentioned, and can be used as a "luxury" resource in any other set.
  2. I was wondering, say I want to buy a Corvette, which requires 2,000 infra I believe. So to buy one, I need 2,000 infra. Simple. But this confuses me: if I want to buy two corvettes, do I need 2,000 infra PER SHIP (4,000 infra) or do I only need 2,000 infra, which will cover the entire class to maximum (5)? Just wondering, because that would mean 5 corvettes would need 10,000 infra
  3. And you DON'T do the same to find your environment level. Yah, certainly not that
  4. You'll never sell for that price. $12 mill is... acceptable (kinda) but 200 tech is ridiculous.
  5. NVM, buying from alliance. And subtitle was typo, for those going "LOL!"
  6. Snape = FTW. Gryffindor is still better, though :P

  7. Awesome mod is awesome! :D

  8. Yah, that is a good place to start. I made a big mistake getting SSS at 2.9k infra
  9. I got my first wonder (and currently, only) at the 3k jump. I'm still there... buying tech, but building up my jump money
  10. Technology is sold in blocks of 50, since it maxes out the aid slot (max 3 million in cash, 50 tech, and I dunno soldierS). Rewrite your question, are you asking how to send tech or how to do a tech deal, as "tech trading" is called?
  11. Alliances work liek this: 1. People get together and become friends. Easy, just be active in an existing alliance or on the boards, or IRL if you have CN friends there. 2. Decide that you should defend each other (how alliances started initially) or that you aren't satisfied with the current alliances, and want to express your ideas on the global stage. 3. You and your group write a charter, get everything up, internal stuff 4. You recruit peoples to become the next generation members 5. Rinse, wash, repeat step 4 again... and again...
  12. I call dibs if he comes out for any reason!
  13. Yah, the law in the NADC is "If a tech level is over 26,000 to buy, use tech deals." We have 1.2 mil per 50 over here, with 3 mil for 150 (slot thing ). Some people pay 1.5 mil for 50? Geez, happy I'm here

  15. Nice Anyway, by definition, DEFCON 1: Basically, you have your soldiers, your soldier efficiency, and your battle efficiency. All your soldier efficiency modifiers are applied to your soldier count. You get the ()s. THEN when you go to battle, your DEFCON efficiency is applied. So in DEFCON 1, if you have soldier efficiency of 10,000, you actually are fighting with 10,000 soldiers; in contrast to DEFCON 5, where you'd be fighting with 7,600 (76% of 10,000). Get it?
  16. Basically what's above me. Although you may not have lumber and marble (or whatever), you still have some nice trades opened up for ya. Heck, you'd be grabbed up for our nuclear proliferation program, uranium isn't THAT bad a resource. In fact, I favor it over gems when I'm considering my extra resource. Furs and uranium can easily go into an "afluent pop, fine jewlery, scholars, and something else I forgot" set. Meh, join a high-level guild that needs uranium, they'll probably accept furs as the "extra."
  17. I lost my formulas (dang sister always saves over my stuff ) but here's the basic stuff: Basically, they differ on how much you can lose and how much you can gain. I forgot the order too, so here's what I remember: Aggressive: You can lose your battle odds % of your soldiers, loot is at maximum cap Stadard: Less soldiers lost than aggressive, but less loot Planned: Even less soldiers lost, but less loot Cautious: Least soldiers lost, but least loot gained
  18. Ah, you're tommorrow. Always coming but never arriving
  19. Oh yah, only .21 points lost! The NADC finally gets a spotlight O_o *thor gold farts in Invicta's face, because now we're ahead by .5 points
  20. Meh, my summer homes are underground nuclear blast bunkers I like the flag, anyway.
