  1. Darth is no longer even in FoA. He resigned. Unless of course he decides to go back on his resignation, but in my opinion FoA would be better off without him.
  2. No, you gave notice not too long ago, darth. Would you like to correct your self?
  3. Thank you for that Kevin. It is very much appreciated.
  4. We have nothing to discuss, nor approach. This matter is resolved, and for the initial raid you get nothing. Not yours. And as to makeing you into more of a joke, you do that wonderfully without my help.
  5. I was just being a smart $@!. If I wanted to disuse reps, Corp would come to us first. And sinc they already have, and the verdict is no reps except for those who were stupid enough to attack after the order was given for no new raids.
  6. Ask logic to contact me on IRC, and we can discuss reps. Ask him to bring MoFA Wikipedia and MoD Dictionary. We have much to discuss.
  7. Why in the seven hells would we pay reps?
  8. So you're not even going to pretend to acknowledge what I asked.
  9. Own up? Are you saying we deny having part in this raid? Because I assure you, your precious, precious tears will be remembered for many long days to come.
  10. Declare in solidarity against what, exactly? The tech raid ended well over 12 hours ago, and everything settled with FoA's new protector, The Corporation.
  11. Oh I never said it was our primary motivation. Make no mistake, our intentions comming into this, after we agreed to, were entirely selfish. We came into FoA's border with the intentions of alleviating them of thir tech. And we were quite successful, no?
  12. Oh I never claimed it to be the best or most efficient way, but it clearly demonstrates the lesson of being unaligned, does it not? And is this not the point of my post?
  13. As MM said, we raid for several reasons. Either to enrich our selves, and what I pointed out earlier:
  14. Indeed, thank you Kevin. You're my favorite ally. Except iClean. I love him more.
  15. This was answered in a previous conversation. In short: size does not matter. If neccessary, we will tech raid any alliance regardless of size or connections should it prove prudent and neccessary to do so in order to secure our alliance, and we will do so with all means at our disposal.
  16. This has been covered several times by several other members of government.
  17. ...WHAT?!? IRON and other alliance governments organize and coordinate attacks all the time. Your charter calls them alliance war, we call them tech raids. Just because the difference is semantics does not mean you can tell a bald faced lie.
  18. Understandable, but sadly that is a very poor way to learn about our internal motivations. If you wish, feel free to catch me on the accepted bands of communication (((OOC: IRC, #\m/ on synirc and #blinging13 on coldfront)) and I would be more than happy to answer any number of questions you may have.
  19. Ah, I see where the confusion arises LM, you consider the charter to be a document of statements created solely for other alliances to "know" our FA policy, when this simply is not the case. If you want to know our FA policy, you have to ask our government, and not refer to a relatively static document that only outlines the barest basics, meant only to give insight to potential recruits.
  20. One thing I'm rather amused by is that somehow we have caused a grievious crime against the sensibilities of this world, and have committed a great crime, when infact the opposite is true: FoA undoubtadly did something to have their initial protectorate (which we had always respected) dropped. Now, obviously to have Sparta drop a protectorate, something undoubtadly boneheaded must have occured. Now, in a raid free world, FoA would not have learned any meaningful lesson from this. How ever, due to the great magnanimity of the raiding alliances, FoA has learned that their idiocy has serious repercussions past a simple treaty cancellation, and are unlikely to repeat those same mistakes with their new protector.
  21. And as I've stated previously, gov has long since considered the charter a contract between it's government and it's members, with it's primary purpose being to detail the rights, priviledges, an limitations, while providing a framework for it's government and a general outline of it's duties. Now, the duty of the triumvirate is to have absolute power over every aspect of the alliance. Just because we did not care to address you in a timely manner nor in the way you commanded does not mean we are backpedaling. In fact, backpedaling implies we had a position to backpedal from. If you can find sufficient evidence that the consensus of \m/ gov was that the triumvirate was somehow limited in it's powers, then I shall reconsider this post. As it stands, how ever, we have acted in full accordance with our charter, and our membership agrees. How YOU view how OUR alliance works is, quite frankly, non of your business nor shall it ever.
  22. Pardon me, but I have to go dredge up some Care from a well known bay.
