1. So, you got your win tonight. If pattern holds, Aaron Rome will score 3 points on Wed and we'll take it home Friday
 2.
He has been getting just as much help as Luongo. A game that had one goal scored in the last 18 seconds and an overtime game does not sound look two teams that do not even compare
Someone's in denial. I'll give the Bruins the win tonight or Wed, so the Canucks can win the cup at home on Friday. Parade this weekend!
 3.
Oh there is, you still have to get past this guy.
And while that has been difficult, it seems like 4 goals in two games so far has done the trick. Thomas is great, but he needs some help from his team.
 4.
and also made this flag!
Well, that is the major criteria for claiming ownership of an alliance. Story checks out. All hail Julianopolis...
 5.
What did I tell you last round... Some people never learn!
Vancouver was my pre-playoff pick. Trust me, Boston and TB were even teams statistically... Van and Bos... no comparison.
 6.
No idea. I have Canucks in 6
Me too.
 7.
Picking against the Bruins is bad for your health.
Picking against Tampa has been bad for my health so far. I'd be fine with Boston winning though. I'd rather Vancouver play them than Tampa.
 8. Picks made: Van in 7 Tampa in 6 Haven't chosen Tampa yet and got burned twice, so I figure they will do it again.
 9.
So much for my picks.
Mine too. Unbelievable.
 10. Nothing is agenda free... and certainly not this by definition. Nevertheless, I get what point you were trying to make. We'll see how it goes.
 11. Alright, good start. They won't all be that easy, and there was a concerning lack of effort on Van's part for times tonight... but good start nonetheless.
 12.
Oh I do. I'm just trying to figure out who could protect it.
You blatantly ignoring the great advice you have received in this thread... not even having the basic tact to say "good idea, thanks" (even if you had no intention of listening to it) only confirms that you will get the protection you deserve... horrible.
 13.
Lol, good luck rolling over the Preds. I hope the Nucks aren't overlooking them as much as you are,
Lol, me too. Anyway: Van in 5 Det in 6 Wash in 6 Bos in 7
 14. Well that worked out splendidly. Van in 7. Now we just need to roll over the Preds. Detroit is the next real challenge.
 15. Unbelievable!!! Well, the only solace is I picked the Canucks in 7... so... um, do I get points when the Blackhawks win in 7?
 16. So with Ana's elimination I'm 2-1, with those 2 also being the correct # of games. I'll start the nagging, Charge, update the stats
 17.
Scores have been updated. Everyone who submitted their first round picks had Detroit. Kevin McDonald was the only one who picked them in the correct amount of games, hence he takes a 3 point lead on everyone after the conclusion of the first series.
Oh yeah! Though it's bittersweet, considering how much I hate Detroit.
 18.
I think if Luongo doesn't at least get to the Cup finals, AND SURELY if the Hawks come back and win the series (I can dream, can't I?), Schneider will be the new starter and Luongo will be shipped somewhere else.
There's no way. Who in their right mind is going to pick up a contract with 11 YEARS REMAINING, at (I can't remember exactly but I think) more than a $6m cap hit a year, for a goalie that chokes in the playoffs? Luongo is Van's starter for the next 10 years whether they like it or not. Edit: Which is why I expect Schneider to be shipped this off season or next, for probably a first round pick. I saw Schneider play a bit when his team played against my local AHL team. Man, that guy knows his way around a net.
 19.
Looks like Luoungo's issue after that reach back save really cost them. Should of pulled him sooner, something was clearly wrong. Blackhawks still go down though
Luongo's only issue was him not being able to mentally recover after getting hit for 2 in a row. I'd be very surprised if he had anything physically wrong with him, he's never had the best ability to overcome adversity and he psyches himself out more than most goalies. That's what I'd be worried about. I'm tempted to say give the start to Schneider. It will never happen in a million years, but that kid will one day bring his own team (not the Canucks) very deep in the playoffs.
 20. Hmm... this is the second time in two days I've heard of Helena being less than competent and dealing with a very standard issue in an idiotic way. Gotham, I'd say get your house in order, but that's tough when all your leader does is go "pfffff".
 21.
We're done. This Hawks team is pretty terrible. I'm just glad we made the playoffs I guess. It's hard to get mad when they just won the cup last year. Anyways, judging by Hossa's performance (if you can call it that), he probably has a golf tourney to get to or something, because I don't even notice him out there.
Yes, indeedy. Get out the brooms.
 22.
Hawks will have John Scott. Well see if your players are still as physical.
Given how the goal scoring has gone so far, looks like both teams need to get their goons off the ice.
