  1. Ahhhh ahahahaha! Sethly, this topic is made of so much
  2. Brilliant! Why didn't anyone else think of that? o/ Reading [/thread]
  3. Nice resolution, guys. I'm glad to see KoN! handling this so respectfully. I feel bad for the Athenians who have to pay cash monies...
  4. Personally, I've always looked at TE for what it actually is: A TOURNAMENT. This means, each and every one of us want to be number one and win the tournament. The people who fight for their alliance as an allegiance to the their alliance are foolish. The only reason I will fight for my alliance, is in the assumption that we will win and I will still be protected by holding their AA. Really, I don't care what place my alliance ends up. I just care what place I end up. If a nation avoids war for an entire round of TE, and wins... then I say they are the smartest. If a nation has full war slots multiple times during a round of TE, and wins... then I say they are the smartest. If a nation goes rogue, hops from AA to AA, ghosts, raids, and wins... then I say they are the smartest. It was discussed on my alliance's forum about what flag we would submit if a member of our AA won. Many people said it would be unfair if the winner didn't take other alliance members opinions into consideration. That's b.s. in my opinion. If I win, I'm submitting whatever flag I would like to submit. I won, after all. I chose which AA I felt would offer me the most protection, and I played the game smart enough to rise to number one. There is no honor in TE. And any honor you do gain gets reset to 0 every several weeks. In this tournament, I will forever look out for number one; me.
  5. As I was looking through the information index (in SE), I noticed that only one spy operation was in green text. In it's own words: If either party in a spy operation is in peace mode the aggressor may only engage in non-destructive operations (green text below). If I remember correctly, there was a handful of spy operations that were 'non-destructive' and not just the Gather Intelligence. Ok, that's all.
  6. Good luck guys! I'm sure you didn't need us defending you anyway.
  7. A lot of it is purely the internal structure. It includes all SOPs, and defines each and every position very clearly. It is extremely well written, and has no obvious loopholes included. I am proud to have signed this constitution, as I feel it is the most proper and clear charter in this game.
  8. Uncapping the GRL: The ultimate anti-inflation technique. I really like the idea of bigger nations getting hurt a little. For a while it seemed like CN achieved a nice equilibrium of peace, with big nations getting bigger, and little nations pretending they could catch up. However, I don't think the idea is too practical. Oh, and the flag... yes.
  9. I like this. Not going neutral while not avoiding assisting allies. Cool.
  10. o/ Doxa Sparta \o <--- my first time saying it.
  11. In one word, no. Sparta has always practiced a fair foreign affair policy. We punish our nations who declare unauthorized war, and do not curbstomp random nations or alliances!
