I was MoD during the UJW in the legion so I think I know a thing about winning. I left legion after purple gate because I was part of the old guard. And eventually joined up with NPO because I wanted to try and mend the long standing grudge between the 2. I think it spoke volumes that the legion came in defense of NPO.

I think if we look at the woodstock massacre we get the best representation for this war. GPA on the day it was signed had 374 members (roughly half what NPO is now) and 3.2mil NS (roughly half what NPO is now) oh yah and they were at war for a month, not 2 months like the terms presented are http://cybernations.wikia.com/wiki/Continuum-GPA_War The reps were huge for the time 70000 tech or 2.1billion in 3 months. The terms we have seen are none of the political consequences. (but there probably are some) But lets say that because NPO has double the members and double the NS then rough the NPO should have double the reps. So lets say you take 35000 tech and turn it into cash. It is now 35k tech and 1.05billion. So tech is about 8x amount and cash is about 8x the amount. Lets factor in the 2x factor, so now you have 4x the cash and tech based on size. Oh NPO was the aggressor so lets do another factor of 2. So okay that is now still far harsher. Legion, they had 3mil NS and they had to give 800mil, so again a factor of 2 so you have 1.6billion. Harsh compared to that. I also dont have access to the stats for the War of the Coalition. In terms of NS, I know the tech value has been thrown around but I cant say for sure what the relative tech level was in those alliances. They were probably no where near as infra devastated as we are. So lets face it this IS the harshest.

But at the time the legions was the steepest ever. So Basically (if you take the NPO counter offer) it is 10x the sum of the cash (I know there is more from past but nothing like that) and 3.5x(2.0x if you count NPO for the entire continuum) the sum of tech.

For this do you see a collective such as the continuum as NPO alone or do you do the whole package. Either way ill take it.

The only time I have ever been in an alliance during reps being put out was MCXA(BLEU) vs NADC.

Are you saying only take monetary amounts?

There are many that have basically no money left, and they are in peace but not banks. Then there are banks. I guess you can always look at the stats chart and see which have changed very little in infra to determine which are banks if you were so inclined. But it isnt anywhere near the 250 I have been hearing. If I had slipped into peace mode last week (yes I could have). I would have still lost over 3k tech, 1 billion and 11k infra, I wouldnt label me as a bank.

I wasnt around for GWI. But I think the fact it wasnt like a 10:1 NS ratio at the time it ended, and 2 I dont think there was that many people against them

This fear of regrowing and coming to knock down your door is interesting. 1. It assumes that we are vastly superior in diplomacy, nation building, and war (and I mean vastly) and 2. You will either lose all your members or you will be stupid in building your nations. This game does have numbers involved. Right now it is probably still like 80mil + against us. How is it even remotely possible for us to gain 80mil in order to beat you guys down at all?

Legion was under it for 4 months and guess what they still have a treaty with us so could it really be that bad?

Alright, I have probably given the most (inter NPO) during this war. As it stands I have sent 90mil out and no I was and am not a bank, I just basically retired and did nothing but log in every 15 days to collect taxes. In 14 days I will probably not even have 1000 tech. So guess what I wont be able to help pay reps. More than likely I would use my 6 slots to pay reps at a rate of 18mil/300 tech, but given the 2 weeks of extra war I probably wont be able to. So in 6 months I could send 324mil and 5400 Tech but I wont be able to cause of having both of these restrictions in place. I think this is bogus. Oh yah it is me that is doing the damage, not someone in peace mode.

You reap what you sow btw. Also how is it a nation that is 148 days old comment on how Pacifica is so evil without either being in it or seeing them at war, more than once? Also you arent even at war with us.

This would be funny, you would have some people come on IRC saying OMFG NPO is ready for war and laughs would be had all around.

To continue my point if you go back to page 3, Hawkenstein. Posted the math and he said at the time there was 181 nations. It is now 17 or so hours later and 4 nations have gone below 1000 tech. OOC: Mogar really got banned?

This is something that has been quoted time and time again as one of the reasons for this war. I know the Karma is the new Hegemony has been played and played again. But does 10% really make a huge difference? Also if I am wrong if they didnt come out of peace mode under that then their nation was on the hook not the entire alliance.

At the moment there are 177 nations that would be responsible for the reps (if I read it right anyone above 1000 tech at the time of terms is on the hook for the reps) and anyone that joins after or crosses 1000 tech isnt responsible. Correct me if I am wrong. If there was the 14 days of war and the attackers are coordinated then you can do 100 tech damage a day (80 from nuke 1.5 from CM and 2 from each ground). That would mean that there are only 52 nations that could pay off reps. Basically it could be seen as a time value of money. Obviously if there is no 2 weeks of war then you have 3x as many nations that could pay reps and thus 3x the amount coming in every month. This is all based on the assumption that as soon as terms are signed those nations are on the hook for the full amount.

I apologize, I was not aware that TFO was involved in this war. For that I rescind my statement and offer you an apology. My statement was based on own personal experience and what I recall. I have not fought any TFO nor do I recall a declaration (although it was a month ago)

Nope, 2700 tech down 5000 Land down 11000 infra down 1.2Billion down (although 90mil of it was aid)

Also I do not blame Londo as "the greedy bad man" although he is not simply a messenger, I still say the saying keeps pace. Jens, since you are not directly involved in this war and merely an onlooker I ask that, even though you are allowed to speak your mind as you please, do not use wording such that looks like you have a significant say in the matter. It was merely a question as obviously not having me as part of NPO would hurt them possibly for an indefinite amount of time.

Lets say another 2 weeks of war put me in bill lock. With the bank nations now being in a state of war and needing to conserve the cash for themselves how could I? Because in another 2 weeks of war I will be below the 1000 tech threshold then what? I have not gone to peace at all in this war
