Alright since I am fair and a man of logic. Please give me 1 member of TORN that thinks we are tossing them under the bus. Then we can say your point is justified until then I will ask my fellow pacificans just re-iterate this point. Edit: I will clarify this post, and give context, in this discussion you will find that it was primarly LoD and I talking. And the point was brought up we(LoD and I) threw TORN under the bus stating their DoW was late and I was asking for someone from TORN to say that in that regard. You can read it however you want, and yes given that I didnt clarify in my initial post it didnt sound like it. You can believe me or not it does not matter, I know people are going to think NPO has thrown them under the bus (that is always the case in every war, and alliances in general).

How is saying we dont know the circumstances that caused something, throwing someone under the bus? I have been having far too much conversation in this thread to read his thread. And had I not been on IRC at the time I probably wouldnt have known about Moos net problems. I cant speak for bigwoody or his fine alliance, I am not going to attempt to make an excuse for them that is quite probably false because that is not what allies do, they do not commit each other to lies. Also really what difference does it make had the DoW been on time. Here is my thinking there would have been an extra 30 min, of Finally the time has come etc. No one would have counter attacked because it would have been relative suicide and if your alliance depends on an actual dow to recognize the start of the war then there is other problems. So really all the dow being late did was cut back on the amount of flames there were ultimately probably increased the chances of the threads still being open and not locked like a lot of dows should be once flames ramp up as hot as they do.

As far as zingers go, I give you credit on this one. That is one thing I have always respected about you, is you are composed and quick witted. As stated in my post before this, I am just a regular member there is much I dont know, and as such I cant speak or reason for Moo Let me know when you are responsible for posting all announcements for the largest alliance. This statement seems to be that of an average person within real life screaming that they can do a better job at everything than an elected official, because they choose to criticize ever little move they do. Your comment on the timing of such is something that I choose to deal with since it was constantly being brought up, instead of discussing things that were of greater interest to me. Now that conversations have slowed down other than the constant "time to die NPO" I choose to discuss it. I treat you with respect if you treat me with respect. I do not play a different character in game than that I do of real life and as a result I have been able to make a great many real friends from this.

Considering I know how active bigwoody is, I wouldnt expect him to just be browsing the forums and post a DoW late for the heck of it. I can not speak for him as I dont directly speak to him, I am just a regular member of the NPO, never have I held a special rank.

Come on the excuse of net fail is valid. Yes it might seem constructed but.. Who was in #nsa at update and kept seeing Moo exit out? Yes clearly we were planning to have our DoW late so we could surprise a 56 person alliance with 21 already in peace, that was our plan all along. Give me 1 valid (and plausible) argument as to why we would delay a DoW. Oh yah I have no idea why TORNs was late.

This is somewhat outside of topic, but since it has come up in previous wars I figure I will ask interest now. Basically I am wondering if I would get support if I posted a thread about, I will immediately surrender if the leader(s) of my alliance either condone or participate in a heinous OOC attack against someone else. Thoughts? I posted this here to see if it was a supportable idea instead of just making a new thread.

Since someone brought up being in Legion. There is a cry for attacking during peace negotiations. I have 2 words Dove war where was the outcry then? Yes I know it is ironic that I am on the "side" that attacked for the dove war but why outcry now instead of then?

Yes Legion GWIII to "abandon". Posted declaration on the legion forums for GWIII. MoD for after GWIII until just before abandon. Went to MCXA. Had quite a few ex-legion friends in NPO and wanted to see what it was like here and retire

Well it seems that a lot of people on that side push the removal of EZI, the ridding of "cruel" surrender terms etc. If I am misguided in this I apologize but I thought that was the rally call of Anti NPO

Honestly, if had spied, and even if you hadnt and during negotiations someone represented your party said that talks were done. Then they suggested attacking another person (one of your allies) I would think that this person was a little arrogant. Just my opinion Obviously I cant speak for TOP, but I have many friends in TOP so I wish them luck with whatever they choose

Of the 56 21 are in peace mode, 73 wars were declared between NPO and TORN so you have 35 that can be declared on so that makes 105 total wars 73/105 x 100% = 69.5% And of those 32 remaining slots where is the disturbution? I dont really want to check but I will guess the bottom range

All I have to say is, if NPO does go down as a lot of you think. Just remind yourself of the words you are saying on this very night. You say there will be no more "shakey" intel no more EZI, no more tech farms, etc. I hope that if any of this does happen in your new age of CN that everyone in CN then immediately attack the offending person or alliance for ruining the unity with which this new CN exists. [OOC] Talk with malice all you wish just remember to keep things in game, sure we can have fun blowing each other up. If someone chooses to take this to a level that is not IC. I hope that CN does execute a mob mentality and deal with that before anything else.

Well I dont go on IRC, I just want to read it here I probably spend more time here than on the pacific forums. I feel great if I even notice one thing that was SS in any edition. And in this case I did, and that was the posting saying nothing was in last weeks edition.

Disbanding generally does "save" the general populace of an alliance. \m/ was no longer targeted after disbandment except those that nuked. Perhaps if I knew history a little better I could argue about NAAC and VE.

I wouldnt necessarily say that all were hung out to dry. Even though I was not leadership at the time, I offered to assist anyone find a new home. I also stayed on the forum for a day or 2 to help clean things up. Since a war had not been started it was decided to disband before our membership could be killed off. I was a member of the advisory council and even though I had worked with Swampy in the previous term as the MoD. I had absolutely no knowledge of this plot and so I felt very betrayed as well and didnt want people to suffer so I gave my opinion to disband.

Not to mention that I am sure there are some members with unreal amounts of cash
