Zoot Zoot
The Malvininan Government has expressed an interest in 16 inch Smooth bore Artillery weaponry. most memorible from the Battleship USS Missouri who sported 9 of the weapons. The Malvinian Military is looking into stockpiling such weaponry for our own Navy once construction begins, and for static artillery and naval gun emplacments around the Malvinas. Zoot Zoot
OOC: Does naval guns mean anti-naval guns or guns for ships? OOC, well a 16 inch cannon can hit up to 25 miles away on a warship (would have to be a battleship) that goes way over the horizon and more and would require special hydrolics to keepthe weapons seteady in the waves . however for coastal emplacments in short you just attach them to a metal rail with allows it to be turned in directions + can be elevated ect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16%22/50_caliber_M1919_gun 25 miles 40 km http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16%22/50_caliber_Mark_7_gun 23 miles 38 KM see those two links.. its the same weapon Edited September 5, 2009 by Zoot Zoot

The required funds have been wired to the MMW. I'm afraid that we lack the ability to recieve wired money. All payments must either be made in cash or check. The Malvininan Government has expressed an interest in 16 inch Smooth bore Artillery weaponry.most memorible from the Battleship USS Missouri who sported 9 of the weapons. The Malvinian Military is looking into stockpiling such weaponry for our own Navy once construction begins, and for static artillery and naval gun emplacments around the Malvinas. Unfortunately, we do not make any guns that large. The largest naval guns we make at this time are 155mm. OOC: Does naval guns mean anti-naval guns or guns for ships? OOC: It could really be both. They are meant to go on ships, but could be used as coastal placements as well.
