We've been a major force on the Purple Sphere for over a year now, and from the looks of things, people are really starting to take notice of our prowess. While we're not ones to pat ourselves on the backs, we're pretty proud of all the new innovations and improvements we've been making in unifying Purple. A lot of people have tried, but you can't argue that it's good ole' seaworthy know-how that inevitably gets the job done! So, without further adieu, we welcome the newest members of the Stickmen Bloc, our longtime friends and associates, The Legion! There were a lot of talks going on for a long time about the Legion merging into SLCB, but in the end we decided to let them keep their sovreignity and remain under their own AA. The Legion leverages brand recognition, and that purple played out eagle thingy on their flag is too cool to let slip into the dustbin of history. We, the undersigned alliances, in the spirit of peaceful cooperation and mutual protection do hereby agree on this Compact Seaworthy Lego iFokky Thingamajig Preamble In the interests of common defense and collegial friendship, the undersigned alliances hereby enter into a mutual defense and optional aggression pact. Article I - Sovereignty Each signatory formally recognises each other as sovereign alliances. Article II - Friendship and Respect The membership of each signatory commit to remaining civil towards each other at all times, in public as well as in private. The signatory alliances will treat each other with respect and decency. Intelligent debate, discussion and constructive criticism are not to be frowned upon, however both parties are expected to show tact and consideration, by going through appropriate channels when addressing concerns. Article III - Intelligence Both signatories agree to share all intelligence they obtain that could prove useful to the other signatory. If either signatory learns of a security breach within the the other alliance, or learns of a threat to the other alliance, they will convey all pertinent information to the other signatory. Article IV - Non-aggression Article IV, Item A. No member of either signatory may participate in, support, or condone military action towards the other. Neither signatory alliance will engage in, or endorse, espionage or subversion against the countersigned, whether through breaching forum/IRC security, or in-game methods. Article V - Mutual Defense and Optional Aggression Any military attack on one signatory is considered an attack on the other signatory. The countersigned are obligated to provide military help and/or financial aid. Defense obligations are optional if the militarily engaged party acted upon a separate defense obligation. Either signatory may ask the countersigned to provide financial and/or military assistance, towards a military engagement initiated by the inquiring signatory. However, such assistance is voluntary. Article VII - Cancellation Should either alliance feel that this treaty is no longer of value, they must contact their fellow signatory in private and give seventy-two (72) hours notification. After the seventy-two (72) hours pass, these accords shall become null and void. However, up until termination, this pact will remain in full effect. Should either party breach an article of this document, their signatures on the treaty will be perceived as void, unless otherwise stated in the treaty, or previously agreed upon by both alliances. Signed, All the important people for all alliances.
