[OOC: No, to have ships ICly you must have them in-game. If you decommission them, they are no longer there. Those are the general rules... just saying.]

After he message was sent, Admiral Dante motioned to get his Captain's attention. "Captain, inform the air force to monitor the movements of the civilian liners. Should they try to land on shore, request the airforce to fire warning rounds. Also patch into UMS surveillance and high command. We need a better grasp as to what is going on," he ordered.

The Captain simply saluted and did as she was told.

OOC: iKrolm, thank you for entering the Phyara. I will RP the forces against you. They will be light infantry in the thousands. Melee weapons mostly. Beware of entering households, and the power to Bangkok will be cut at the end of this post.

SpacingOutMan,

http://www.marimari.com/hotel/thailand_hotel/bangkok_hotel/newWorld/images/map.gif

Here is the map of the area we are in. We are going to go to Wat Phra Kaew, a palace now made into a castle, through the Sanam Luang after there is car wreckage blocking the road, so we are going to go through the park. The university has risen up, so expect to be bombarded by ravage teenagers.

Lutai, I cant give you confirmation because the government is out of commission, you’ll see why that is so in this post.

SOM, when we get in there,

hes in the Viharn Phra Nak, but we expect him in the Vihran Yod.

10:03 Central Bangkok

The convoy neared its target. It sped over the Pinklao Bridge and watched as the entire city was engulfed in darkness. The sudden change of scenery brought the vehicles to a halt. All that lit the roads now were the random fires that has taken cars, cloth, stores, and other facilities. Slowly, candle lights had filled some of the houses. Lucas got back on the head set radio.

“Militia must be attempting to make a difference. I don’t believe this makes anything better for anyone, really. Switch to night vision, I don’t expect those college kids to be too happy with recent events, nor the fact that the person responsible for this is right next door. Check right side, we’ll be turning off in a moment. Wat Phra Kaew is the next right.”

Lucas contiuned to drive off, making his way to Rajdamnearn Rd. He was just about to make his way towards the palace, when he saw a crowded amount of cars.

“Damn.”

He looked to the green area straight in front of him.

“We’re going off road boys, hold on.”

He sped up the side walk, over the stairs, into the park that lead to Wat Phra Kaew. The palace itself had gone through some changes. A fence had been put up around it, followed by a 20 foot stone wall and a steel gate. Past that were the actual palace defenses, which included 3 glass entryways and a small bridge. It was pitch black. Nothing sturred other than the rustle of a growing crowd infront of the fences.

“Keep the noise to a low, we’ve got company. Eyes ahead gents, they spotted us.”

A rioting crowd doesn’t move in groups. The most pissed off people make a show, others attempt to hold them back, some are there to act peaceful and some are there to do some damage. You cant pick off the goods from the bads, especially with it being pitch black. This is the problem, and this was just the beginning. Broken glass shattered off the hood, the remaining alcohol left on the windshield. Rocks, sticks, anything that they could find bounced off the armored sides.

“Drive slowly, we’re not taking chances.”

Yet driving slowly was the exact reaction that they wanted, as we were focused straight ahead with university nuts up our $@!, the right wing nutjobs came from the rear. You’d make nothing of it, considering there hasn’t been many attacks on military vehicles recently, except tonight. Tonight, they brought out one of the only RPGs a civilian had in Central Bangkok and they shot it at the convoy. The second it was fired, the 13 advanced, experienced soldiers knew what it was. Even the two drivers knew what was coming. All we could do was close our eyes and hope it wasn’t us. The middle humvee was smacked on the left, rear bumper. It exploded, bringing the cars rear upwards. The vehicle slammed down upside down. The explosion drove the college kids back a few yards, stunning them that this actually might be way over their heads. The nutjobs bolted, and the rer car was making a turn for them.

“Forget the bogies, open that vehicle, and get them the hell out of there. Gunner on rear vehicle, shoot over the crowds heads, scare them the hell off. I’m going in.”

Lucas slammed on the gas, he drove threw the remainder of the park, and popped over the 4 foot wall to the street. The front bumper had seen better days, but its job wasn’t over yet. Lucas continued his charge and smashed into the steel fence, knocking a section off. Slowed down, he continued his charge. He pushed towards the front gate.

“Everyone, DOWN!” Everyone ducked down as the vehicle smacked it like a fly on a wall. The locks drilled into the ground broke loose. With his foot on the pedal, the vehicle still attempted ot move like the little engine that couldn’t. However, it did. It ripped through the inch thick glass, and slammed ot a halt when it hit the information desk in the front of the castle’s entrance. Lucas recognized his position, and saw that little power was actually lighting up the hallways of the castle, he looked back, and got on his head set.

“Vehicle 3, do you read me?”

"$%&@!" shouted Lieutenant Richard. He slammed his fist against the side of the interior as Lucas steam piled through the entrance of the castle. He motioned toward his three other subordinates and motioned towards them. "Hal, Jimmy, Nick... just like in north Sudan. Activate your BattleNET systems. General Starsk should have the UAV overhead now giving us minute-by-minute updates on the exterior. Vehicle 2 is down," he continued.

Crackling over the radio, vehicle 3 promptly gave response from Charlie Nkailu, the Mechodamian Grand Patriarch's second cousin. "Vehicle 3 status good. Vehicle 2 is flipped and decommissioned. Tommy, Salae, and Rikter are going to recover squad Sigma from it. We'll bring up the rear and cover the entrance. The UAV system is up, so we are good to good. We have air support too should we need it."

Richard motioned toward Lucas, and made a mild request. "Sir, vehicle 2 will salvage 3 and pull up the rear. Tactical air support is an option, along with Achilles missiles, [OOC: Predator Missiles] and we can likely pull this off with the five of us. We have a UAV overhead that is feeding us surveillance, and there is no point of entry other than the main entrance visible, so we shouldn't have to worry about an influx of rebel faction forces. Vehicle 3 had a MK-47 auto-grenade launcher onboard, and vehicle 2 had the XM-312 heavy machine gun. They should be able to salvage the MG and make the cover suitable to keep the rioters away."

Gun shots in the background could be heard roaring from vehicle 3 as it sprayed in the air with a barrage of rubber bullets, slamming into the crowds as they quickly turned tail and fled.

Richard continued, "We have a general overlay of the castle added to our headset's database. How do you want to do this, sir?"

"I need air support getting a route to the docks. We need a clear way out of here if we actually want to live through this. Ground route, one we can walk. Whats the status of anyone in vehicle 2?"

"That can be arranged. FB-22 squadrons are en route, along with several gunships to escort us step-by-step. Vehicle two is currently being checked out by squad Epsilon. The main exterior is blown to !@#$, but from what I'm hearing from Lieutenant Tommy over the live feed, there seems to have been no penetration. The crowds have been deterred for the time being and they are setting up a defensive position at the entrance. They were able to salvage the MG and the auto-grenade launcher and have them set up behind a few debris outside the castle. The only problem is vehicle 2 is dug in pretty deep since it hit a ditch, so it's going to take them a little bit to get inside. We've called in back up from the 2nd Paratrooper Division and five M2 Falcons en route. The fifth foot division are also en route with eight C-88 armor and 5 S-89 Phantom NIFVs. They were dispatched about 30 minutes ago and should be here... I'd reckon an hour and a half. The paratroopers should be here within the hour; they'll be dropped near Thamasart University," explained Richard as he casually cracked his neck.

Halfheartedly, he added, "This Queen Ava better be !@#$@#$ worth the trouble..."

Also Acca Dacca, when you have a chance, could you respond to the airport radio message?

IC:
Blue Section:
Sergeant (Class II) Joseph Valdés crouched on the dock in, transport ship to his back, pulse rifle forward toward a line of warehouses 20m from his current position. A light rain pattered on the dock, but not enough to obscure visibility. Nobody seemed to be moving among the warehouses; in fact, there wasn't anyone visible in any direction from his current position, just his 9-man squad on the dock to his right and another squad off to the left, all watching the buildings because either there really wasn't anyone here, or there was an ambush waiting in the warehouses.

"Nothing moving," the sergeant of the other squad called back into the ship as a BXII roared to life, then slowly clanked out of the ship and forward across the wet concrete dock.

"My squad forward," Valdés called, matching the BXII's pace of a slow walk and knowing without looking the 9 privates of his team were right behind him. Still nothing moved except for the wind & rain though he could hear the sound of distant gunshots somewhere in the city. 20m, they reached the start of the warehouses and Valdés radioed back all clear. The response came in the form of two more BXIIs rolling out of the transport.

"All right," Valdés paused, checking his men. "We're securing Gate B, approximately 500m north of our current position. Galván, you have point, Salazar you're behind him with the gas launcher. Tapia, you've got our six with the M240, everyone else fan out in between. Let's move."

They'd been lucky: Blue Section was entirely fenced in; teams in Green and Cyan Sections had to erect fences and barricades to close off their compounds. Covering the roads intersecting their path while their squad mates crossed, water splashing under their boots as they ran across themselves, Valdés and his squad quickly made their way through the rows of warehouses toward the objective. The entire area seemed empty: there wasn't anybody on the streets and nobody emerged from the warehouses. The first person Valdés saw was the man in the gate house, back to them and talking into telephone he promptly dropped as Galván kicked down the door and shoved a pulse rifle at him, yelling "Freeze!"

The man, apparently just the gate keeper, did exactly that. "Search him," Valdés ordered, ducking inside the gate house and out of the rain. He picked up the phone and listened, but whoever'd been on the other end had hung up.

"Gate B secured, only a single guard currently in captivity, unarmed," Valdés radioed in.

"Confirmed, take up defensive positions and stand by," came the reply.

Stepping back outside, Valdés checked his men again. "You heard the radio, take up positions, dry ones if you can find them, with a good angle of fire and stay alert. We've been lucky so far but you saw the reports coming out of Acca Dacca before we left, things were going to hell and fast."

It is sad to see what has happened in Acca Dacca Ava. I am disappointed nevertheless the PRC extends its support to an old ally. We would never turn our backs on an ally in need and we are ready to support anyway possible.

OOC: riots for iKrolm

10:32 PM South shore, Bangkok

It started off with one or two rattling the fences, wanting entrance into Blue Section. Than it got out of hand real quick. Some came just to cause troubles, others believed it to be an invasion or occupation, and in their state of mind, that is exactly what they didn’t want to see. They ran at the gate with shovels, axes, anything that could be weld and do some damage. They began throwing over rocks, aiming for anyone that moved.

The night only brought moon light to guide these savages. It was the worst feeling for anyone who wasn’t prepared to do some damage to a government official, a building, or these invading soldiers. They sought destruction, and they were going to get it. From behind the crowd, two lights lit up, and roared at the crowd to move. The best was an 18 wheeler with a gas tank on the back. The driver revved the engine and drove at the gate. He ducked down to avoid any fire. The crowd parted just in time as the truck drilled its path. They cheered the driver on, hoping what he was attempting to accomplish would make its mark on the fence, and on history.

Green Section saw the right wing nutjobs. The crazed crowds shot bullets in the air and had some dozen or so M16s amongst them. Some had full soldier attire on while others paraded around in a wife beater like Rambo. They came in all directions, slowly inching up as to not be shot in return. They hid behind cars, wreckage, anything they could find…and began to fire at the Selenartos soldiers.

9:45 PM: Angkor, Cambodia

The tower at the Angkor Airport, the Cambodia international airport, was the last control tower in commission was relatively quiet, running on backup power attempting to ground any incoming planes as to make sure no innocent casualties were made because of their destination. However, the revolting population saw it as a way for government officials to escape. They bashed in the skulls of 4 airport security before arriving at the door to climb the control tower. From afar, the control tower lit up from the sparks of two gun shots. Indochina was now unreachable. Noone was getting in, noone was getting out.

Above, a small personal jet flew, running out of fuel. It held two flight attendants, two pilots, and the Defense Minister of Acca Dacca.

Blue Section, Gate B:

The rain had cleared as daylight retreated, leaving an eerily moon-lit night in it's wake. Sergeant (Class II) Joseph Valdés' squad has just returned to relieve Beta Squad when the first of rebels arrived on the other side of the gate, demanding entrance to the compound. When ordered to step away from the fence the men refused, rattling the fence and shouting insults.

"We've got rebels along the fence, demanding entrance and refusing instructions," Valdés radioed in.

"Roger that, about how many are there?" came the reply

"About twenty, maybe thirty, and more arriving as we speak."

"Confirmed, similar situations are developing at the other gates. See what you can do to disperse them, Beta Squad will remain with you until reinforcements arrive. Comm out."

"Will do, Valdés out." Valdés looked around at his men and Beta Squad crouching in the shadows next to the warehouses, then back at the men now banging on the gate with shovels and axes. "One last time, step away from the fence," Valdés shouted into a megaphone and was answered by a hail of rocks coming over the fence.

Valdés waited a second more then called out, "Gas 'em." The plunk, plunk, plunk of semi-automatic grenade launchers going off was barely audible over the shouting of the crowd, now over a hundred strong.

Some of the protestors fell back as the grenades landed and released their cloud of tear gas but more surged forward to take their place. "Outta grenades Sarge," Salazar shouted, "And they don't seem to be doing a whole lot."

"Weapons check, anybody comes over or through that gate and…" Valdés was interrupted by a revving of engines coming from the back of the crowd, then the crowd began to part as a semitruck rolled out and began to charge the gate. "Take that truck down, take it down!!" Valdés shouted and a hail of 10mm armor piercing rounds answered. Only too late did Valdés notice the fuel tank on the back of the truck…

Green Section, aboard the SS Tiyanak:
"Admiral, reports of fire along the fence coming in from." Admiral Alesio Sierra looked up from his desk.

"Where along the fence?" He asked, surprised only that it'd take this long to start.

"Everywhere sir, all along it. No discernible markings or sides, just an assortment of paramilitaries and rebels armed with assault rifles. You're requested on the comm."

"Sound the alarm to general quarters aboard the task force and I'm on my way," Sierra rose, grabbing grabbing his hat from it's peg next to the door as he exited his office.

Sierra arrived to find the comm room packed full, a pair of junior officers stepped outside to make way for him. "Admiral Sierra? This is Ground Force Major Rascón, we're taking fire from the streets beyond the barricade. A mess of people out there sir, all of them armed and violent, requesting permission to open up with the BXIIs' 30mm cannons."

"Do it, I want them dispersed but try to minimize casualties," Sierra ordered into the radio

"Will do, thank you sir."

Green Section, the fence:

Major Rascón watched as the pair of BXIIs fired out over the razor wire-topped barricade his men has hastily erected just hours ago. "Keep those machine guns firing, I want the rebels outta here!" Rascón shouted to the fire teams positioned off to his left, then scanning the street again through his image-enhancing binoculars.

The rebels had approached rapidly and quietly, using abandoned cars and anything else left in the streets for cover; the same abandoned cars the BXIIs were rapidly laying wast to with their 30mm cannons. If not for urgency of the situation, Rascón could have smiled at the irony: their own cover turned against them, shrapnel kills an unarmored combatant just almost as effectively as bullets.

"They're breaking off and running," a lieutenant shouted at him.

"Cease firing," Rascón shouted, then into his radio, "BXIIs, cease firing." After the 30mms quieted, Rascón grabbed a megaphone from a nearby sergeant and ordered the sergeant to check for wounded. Into the megaphone, "Acca Daccans, drop any weapons you are carrying and you will be allowed to tend to your wounded." Then to his own men, "In 10 seconds, shoot off anyone who's still carrying a weapon, not helping a wounded man or not running away."

Aboard the lead A400M
Approaching Bangkok airport.

"Still no response from the tower, colonel. Orders?"

"Take us in and alert the troops, assume we're heading into a hostile situation."

"Roger that, proceeding onto a landing vector."

Anthony and Hannah were both being worn thin by recent events, and it was showing. First the letter from the Nos Tre Republic had been missed, a series of internal events that just barely bordered on disastrous, and then this.

"Of all times, this had to happen now, when we are least capable of sending aid." It was fortunate the Queen's hands were empty of all save the report she was reading. Anything else would undoubtedly have been crushed in that iron grip.

UMS satellites picked up the massing TNEOK forces heading toward Acca Dacca. All SAM sites located in eastern Acca Dacca were rendered into battle stations and a transmission was sent to the TNEOK capitol:
TNEOK government,

Our requests have gone answered in regards to barring your involvement in the current Acca Daccan conflict at this time. With that said, our satellites have picked up your forces heading to Acca Dacca. We are warning you: should you come within range of our SAM sites, we will shoot down your fighters. Why? The fact of the matter is that to add any unnecessary forces to the region would be considered hazardous and counter-productive. We ask you, for the last time, to stand down and help your treaty partner by waiting for once this conflict is over. Once the situation is handled, you can help aid them in a humanitarian manner. Other than that, and we reiterate, any attempt to land on Acca Daccan soil will be rendered a clear defiance of this ultimatum and will be seen as a cause of conflict, thus putting us at a state of war. Do not trifle with the patience we currently hold with your impudent impatience.

We cannot give you the classified information we currently possess, but we ask you to believe us when we tell you that your attempted military intervention would debilitate the possibility of Acca Dacca returning to power. Cease and desist, or we will fire. That is our only warning.
10:09 PM

Lucas signaled to the men with him to sdplit into two groups and take point at the corners. He would go straight through the middle while two groups of two would make their way around the center. He signaled for radio silence as he entered the first room. He had his silenced pistols in each hand. He climbed the steps, and stepped to the side to open the door, he squeezed down on the knob as to take anyone that was inside by surprise. In one fluid motion, the door sprung open, and he threw his body in as shots rang against the wood and stone that he was just standing behind.

He ducked down behind an object that he found to be an aquatic tank above him standing on a marble cylinder. The tank exploded at the spray of fire and splashed onto Lucas. The lukewarm water slid off his helmet, his eyes closed as he attempted to concentrate. The world around his had to be smaller. He thought back to his dive, and looked at the surrounding environment. There were two targets, one directly behind him, the other one rounding the very small golden railing that circulated around the room. He looked up to the left, another aquatic exhibit stood just 5 feet away. He looked closely at the water, and saw that the man who was rounding the railings had made his turn and was at a 90 degree angle to Lucas. Lucas pulled his legs in, just as shots erupted the pattern on the rug. Lucas finally turned, sprung, shot the exhibit, sending glass and shrapnel at the passing soldier, his eyes splashed with the sea water sensation. Lucas turned to the farther target; his back hit the floor, and took an aim at his foot. The bullet left the chamber and in milliseconds dismembered the left half of the left foot of the soldier. He jumped to one foot, and his helmet came up, Lucas shot a bullet into it, leaving a splatter print on the wall behind the fallen soldier. He turned to his other target, who had just recovered. He put two shots in his chest, and took in a breath of air.

“Room One clear, Twenty One more to go.”

He went out the door opposite to the one he came in, bringing him to the large hall he was already in before. took a step down the staircase and was pushed back. A shot to the chest. The gun shot came after it hit him, surprisingly, and his ears rung at the newfound pain. He fell back, sitting almost, until he realized what was going on. The vest held together, but now he needed to deal with plenty of new targets. Twenty one came in a staggered formation lighting up the hall way. Lucas pushed back, and rolled into the room he was in. He got on the radio,

“Weapons hot, weapons hot, Humvee Three, you better clear a landing for a copter, because that’s the only way we can get the hell out of here!”

Lucas recovered, and put his Calico M960 and lit the hall up.

10:11 PM

Just outside, the college students continued their rock throwing, until one or two pointed out the fact that there was only 4 maybe 5. They slowly began to surround the group, looking to grab a hold of their weapons, ammo and vehicle. Damn hungry college students.

10:36 PM

Blue Section: The round smacked into the truck taking out the driver, with his last couple of breaths, he spun the truck. The breaks reared the head of the truck to a halt, causing the tail to whip around. The wheels bounced at the friction, the crowd breaking through, with several dozen more coming out of the shadows, but the truck stopped there. Anticlimactic for everyone who wanted the explosion. However, the crowd was swift to point out the death of the driver, and used it as motivation to charge the soldiers. (continued in the reply to Keshav).

Green Section: It went quiet as the group retreated to the other side of the buildings. They went unarmed to pick up their wounded. They wouldn’t charge again, but this wouldn’t be forgotten.

OOC: Can we shorten the hours? I got till midnight to complete this task.

IC:

Ava contacted them video chat while they were on their flight over to New Caledonia. She looked at the three and bowed to each of them because as of now, she was a peasant. Mother, Other government of China, I come to you today to offer a piece of land in exchange for yours. In Acca Dacca’s recent history…

In the Blue Section, a man had charged at the ‘invading soldiers’ but was shot within a short range. The man’s shoulder went back but he fell to the soldier’s feet, attempting to hold himself up, but passing out from the pain.

We have fallen prey to rebellion overnight. The damage is done, but we can restore order and return the land to former glory. I ask that you, China, take hold of Acca Dacca’s holding in Indochina…

Lucas Perry tosses a flash grenade out the door before diving to the other side of the door way to aim at the soldiers on the other side of the hall way

So that order can be restored. We are already taking place of the people who are…

Even Ava herself had to clinch at these words

…responsible for these attacks. I only hope that in return you would be willing to offer us your land holdings within Oceania as to not make this look like a retreat. We wish to save some public face in this catastrophe and would hope that you would honor…

A small boy in the Green Section, caught only the last few words of his father before he began to choke on blood. The boy, with tears in his eyes, lifted his fathers AK-47 and began to fire at the guards at the gate.

…this request as it may be the last one I can make. I have put my country into this mess and I do hope to take them out of it. I will be holding myself responsible and soon after receiving my power, and putting this plan into motion, I will be removing myself…

A mother in the blue section opted to take a live action pistol out and began to fire at the guards. Others with guns stayed within the crowd to remain concealed.

From the political scene. Mother, China, as a last request to an ally and a nation I call family, please do this for us.

Lucas pushed through the doorway, flanked the soldiers from the side and emptied a clip into the units. He looked at the long stretch of hallway down from where he was. His only though, 'we got a long way to go.' He put in another clip. He looked for his team, saying outloud and into the mic to check those outside "Report."

"We did discuss the land deal before, but yes Borneo is all yours. Do good with it Ava, you shall always have my support. I have spoken to the General of the Chinese armed forces and he is on his way to IndoChina right now. Within a day we should have complete control over the nation. If you wish I can take you to Borneo myself"

"Borneo and all Oceania land? We have many Pacific citizens to relocate as Indochinese have shifted blame to them as well for the fall of the economy. All of that property for mainland Indochina should be more than enough."

"What other Oceania land do we have, you may have Paracel as well. We shall calm Indochina."

*Private*

"Blow these $%&@ers to Hell boys!" Rich shouted as his team unloaded their XM-8 clips on the staggered soldiers running down the hall. "Corporal, careen a flash into the left side, wait five seconds, and throw a smoke to the other side. Tommy, I want that LMG set up in ten seconds."

The Corporal nodded and took out the two explosives from his belt. Timing it perfectly, he heaved the flash bang in front of the left side of the group, putting them into an instant daze. The remaining people who were unaffected were then subsequently gassed with a plume of smoke, blinding their vision anyways.

"Alright Tommy, unload on those $%&@ers!" Richard shouted as the four of them mounted the doorway. "Sir, are you alright? You took one square to the freaking chest. These vests are pretty nifty !@#$," he joked as his clip began to click, signifying it was empty. He immediately wrapped his arm around his back and grabbed a new clip and shoved it into the feed of the assault rifle. Just as he secured it, a bullet swayed from the corridor into the room, smacking into his shoulder pad. "!@#$@#$ !@#$%^&..." he muttered as pain rippled down his arm.
