ALMATY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The complete administrative and economic consolidation of the Almaty Province back to the Kingdom has now resulted in the launch of the new integrated Almaty Development Program to raise the technological development across Almaty on par with the rest of the nation. While Almaty certainly did not lack of suitable infrastructure dating from the days when it was earlier a province of the Kingdom unprecedented technological advancements while it remained separate from the Kingdom creates some disparities which would be alleviated in this program.

Principal amongst these would be the renovation of the Dostyk - Alashankou logistics corridor. The road and railway lines in this major transportation corridor would be renovated and new spurs to extend the High Speed Rail Corridor through Astana would be made. The Kapchagay Dam would be renovated to increase the power supply for the province while also commissioned 2 new Thorium power plants in the province.

State Bank of Travancore would also be promoting heavy investments into the Almaty Stock Exchange which has recently been on a down trend. With a stagnance in principal markets of South and West India, Almaty and other Central Asian Provinces of the Kingdom are being mooted as the new business destination. Tourism and Information Technology is one of the key industries being tasked for targeted development with Special Economic Zones being mooted at Taldykorgan for a Central Asian IT hub. Mahindra Airlines Ltd, a subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra has expressed interest in opening a new manufacturing plant in Almaty for a variety of aviation components.

With the restoration of the Province of Bengal the various Ministries are swinging into action to smoothly reincorporate the infrastructure of Bengal into the rest of the Kingdom. Without doubt many of the technological features of Bengal would be unmatched in the rest of the nation but the primary infrastructure like Railways, Roadways, Airports, Seaports and the High Speed Rail Corridor are being reintegrated into the national network. Bengal would for now use its own power supply system but soon the installed infrastructure of Bengal Province would be linked with the regional power grids of the nation. Ministry of Interior is organizing a massive enfranchisement program to ensure that every citizen of Bengal would be issued their Citizen's Representation ID Card, a massive feat for the entire populous province which is likely to be managed by an influx of thousands of Administrative Officers assisted by tens of thousands of reserve soldiers from National Defense Corps drafted for this civilian administrative function.

The complete reintegration of Bengal Province has now been completed by the Ministry of Interior. The roadways and the railways have once again been fully integrated with certain technologies from the former Ceylon now been integrated with the National Railway Network, however for now the locomotives and carriages would all be of the NRN standards. Another major work had been the integration of the power grid of Bengal, nearly 430 GW of power in the form of 15 Fusion Power Plants which has now been accomplished with continued extension of technical expertise from Guyana. The addition of this extra power has been a tremendous boost to the regional power grids. However the glaring incapacity of the Kingdom of Cochin to build and operate Fusion Power Plants of its own is becoming a major drawback to the growing power ambitions of the National Power Grid. A special representation is being created by the National Power Grid under Ministry of Interior with Varma Institute of Fundamental Research to get authorization for starting of indigenous Fusion power plant projects so that Fusion self sufficiency may be achieved. The High Energy Research Center in Tok, Tibet had already achieved great advances in Fusion technology and is ready for commercial experimentation with a full fledged Fusion power plant, authorization for which must however come from the King himself. Thus for this infrastructural leap, Mr. Revin George, the Ministry of Interior is leading a delegation of engineers and scientists to meet with the King of Cochin himself.
