The Department of Inland Navigation is the prime arbiter in construction of canals. Currently no canals for navigation are being planned, the existing natural river systems are being used and repaired to make it more navigable. If in the future the DIN decides to launch a Navigable Canal Project, Dragon Shipping would be considered to render a tender for the contract.

MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION
Department of Railways

Department of Railways announces the complete integration of the National Railway Network between the Central Asian and Subcontinental railway networks. The five Trans Himalayan Railroads facilitate this integration. With 5 subcontinental hubs at New Delhi, Dehradun, Gorakhpur, Patna and Shillong the Kingdom is now fully connected across the Himalayas. The Department of Railways has now been tasked with making the entire National Railway Network into one gauge system and to fully electrify it. The principal rail corridors have already been electrified and are of broad gauge, 5 ft 6 in (1,676 mm), but efforts are being undertaken to change the secondary and tertiary railway networks to broad gauge too.

The current organization of two railway divisions, viz, Central Asian Railway and Subcontinental Railway is also expected to be reorganized into narrower and more regionally oriented Railway Divisions very soon.

Department of Railways is also planning to start a High Speed Rail Corridor across the Kingdom, including the major cities of the nation. This proposed HSRC is to be a Maglev system to be created by expanding the existing railway right of way in as best a way as possible. The HSRC is stated to include cities such as Urumqi, Cochin City, Hami, Lhasa, Kathmandu, Thimphu, Shillong, Dhaka, Jamshedpur, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Ernakulam, Dragonisian City, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Lucknow, New Delhi and Sri Nagar. The HSRC would be a circuitous track with trains going on either directions at 8 hour intervals. The circuit design would create a high speed and economical alternative to air transport. The Trans Himalayan Railroads of Kashmir and Shillong as well as the Himalayan Railway Network connecting Xinjiang and Tibet would be included in this network. It is expected that tenders would be issued to various foreign firms for the construction of various lines of this High Speed Rail Corridor.

National Renewable Power Initiative
Ministry of Natural Resources

Ministry of Natural Resources announces a new project to massively increase eco sensitive power generation in the Kingdom of Cochin. The Kingdom has an abundance of coastline which can be tapped to provide surplus power to promote rural development and reduce demands on more conventional power generation sources.

As part of this project MNR proposes to construct a continuous layer of tidal power generation stations across the coast line of the Kingdom. Situated a minimum of 50 meters from the coast line these concrete/rock structures would have tidal generators installed every 5 meters. The structures would be designed to project a maximum of 1 meter above peak recorded wave height so that adequate warning could be provided to local fishing industry. Channels of passages would also be created along these power generation structures so that off shore fishing vessels can gain access to deep sea. Power generated from these grids would be conveyed by insulated underwater cables to Power stations and transformers located on the shore. This continuous chain of breakwater is expected to provide power as well as storm defense for local communities. These breakwater defenses would be created my Ministry of Natural Resources with due assistance from Royal Cochin Coast Guard.

Another avenue of natural power generation would be establishment of coastal wind farms all around the coast of the nation. The wind potential of coast lines have been barely tapped by the MNR and hence this plan to commission a layer of 60 meters tall 6 MW wind turbines manufactured by Encompass Tech Pvt Ltd. ETPL which already has expertise in installing high capacity wind farms which have seen years of trouble free service in Station Gangothri has been awarded the contract to build the wind farms. With wind turbines located every 100 meters for the entirety of the 4,800 km coast line of the Kingdom, a total of 48,000 wind turbines are expected to be installed within the next few years. Work has already started in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Bengal coasts. Areas specified by Royal Cochin Defense Forces and Royal Cochin Coast Guard have been avoided from erecting these turbines.

With this layer of break water wave turbines and wind turbines around the entirety of the 4,800 km coast of the Kingdom, Ministry of Natural Resources expects to create a land mark in energy efficiency and ecological protection.

Greetings,
UNF is a newly established University to promote the rich and vibrant French literary traditions of Cochin. Pondicherry has a long affiliation with french culture and we have a very vibrant literary tradition which is hoped to be promoted through our University.

Since any such effort would be half done without a proper association with the Gaule, hence this request to send a delegation to Pondicherry so that we may establish guest lectureship and other cultural contacts between our Universities.

Hoping you would consider our request,

The reintegration of the Mongol provinces of Bayan Olgii, Khovd, Govi Altai, Zavkhan and Uvs into the Kingdom of Cochin has been formally started with the transfer of administrative powers from Cochin Protectorate Administration to the Ministry of Interior. The old garrisons are being spruced up and earlier logistical links are being reactivated to once again receive to the Kingdom's bosom, the citizens that had departed from it a while ago. The governance of the Republic of Madurastan had not thankfully severed the close cultural and economic relations that had existed between the Mongols and other citizens of the Kingdom of Cochin. The close diplomatic relation and alliance between the two nations had maintained the strong relationship.

Now with the rest of Mongolia becoming a joint protectorate and discussions imminent concerning its sovereignty, the Cochin Mongol Provinces are once again being reintegrated formally into the Kingdom. During the days of cessation from Kingdom, Cochin Mongolian Provinces had remained stagnant in terms of technological development to stay on par with Madurastan's capabilities, while the Kingdom had been developing at an astonishing pace. Though economically the Kingdom had not yet achieved the absolute peak before the cessation of the Kazakh provinces, technologically the Kingdom is reaching new peaks.

Thus a short but necessary rebuilding and overhaul is being conducted in the Cochin Mongol Provinces.

If the scene in Mongolia is that of brothers returning home, in Kashmir, Punjab, Gujarat Rajasthan joys of relations renewed is pouring forth. Though the cordial relations with the Marscurian Pakistan had enabled a maintenance of cultural and traditional links, a new vista has opened up in this region with the integration of the Sindh, Punjab and Kashmir provinces with the Kingdom of Cochin. Not since a very long time had these divided regions been reunited, the severed relations once again reforged under the common flag, under a common nation.

The rebuilding effort is simply massive in these areas. The rich and fertile lands of Punjab and Sindh would once again see the prosperity that always ought to be their birthright. The first job of pacification, ie, the destruction of last remnants of the rebels who wrought havoc in these lands had being conducted by the Somalian Regiment (10IR). Now the Cochin Protectorate Administration has given way to the Ministry of Interior. An influx of jobs, highly subsidized rebuilding loans are being created in these regions to economically improve this region in a big way. Already several industrial majors have started scouting for sites to set up operations. A massive boom is expected in these regions from the billions of aid money being poured here. The natural industry and vitality of the Singhis and Punjabis are also expected to contribute greatly in their own self improvement. In Kashmir Valley joy of reunification is once again sounding. Kashmir is expected to profit a lot in the expected boom in tourism due to the reunification.

As the symbolic first step of the formal reunification, the Wagah border gate was formally opened up with its massive wrought iron gates removed from its hinges. Never again shall this land be divided.

 • 1 month later...

The year long concentrated development plan had borne fruit in the new provinces of the Kingdom of Cochin. The Sindh and Punjab provinces are nearing the level of development and prosperity that is the hallmark of the Kingdom's other provinces. Several key industrial projects were restarted and new industries started in this highly productive region. The agricultural sector has shown the greatest resurgence as the hard work and resourcefulness of the Punjabis and Sindhis coupled with financial and technological assistance from the Ministry of Agriculture brought about a bumper crop. The land that was once the wheatbowl of the Indus Valley once again started its ascent into prosperity.

One of the largest organizational changes which had come about in the region had been the unification of the two Punjab provinces into one. Lahore has once again been elevated to the status of the capital of Punjab Province. Respecting the long standing wishes of the Sikh people of Punjab a coordinated renovation effort is being conducted to repair and resusciate the famous Sikh shrines and main gurdwaras in the whole of Punjab.

The Sindhi capital of Karachi is seeing a spectacular economic boom within the short time that it has become part of the Kingdom. The natural industry and commercial acumen of the Sindhis give all indicators that Karachi would once again rise to be the one of the leading commercial centers in South Asia. Already several Sindhi businesses have spread out and have started prospering from the vast markets of the Kingdom. Most helpful for this had been the old Ratnagiri - Gosree railroad route which now also serves as connection between Karachi and Bombay due to special connection spurs having been laid to Karachi by the Ministry of Transportation. This high speed transport link to the economic capital of Cochin has been very profitable to the people of Sindh province.

While the Sindh and Punjab provinces are seeing frantic activities, the pace of life in Kashmir has in fact settled out. The collective wish of the people of Kashmir had been respected and the entire state of Jammu and Kashmir has been demarcated as a non industrial area to preserve the tranquility and ecology. However the resounding tourism boom has enabled this heaven on earth to be able to provide prosperity to its people though not as of now on par with the rest of the Kingdom. This however is expected to change as soon as the infrastructural projects being going on in the province gets completed. A flurry of hotels, resorts and tourism oriented businesses are rising up in the province which when completed would bring in considerable stream of revenue to the region.

Project Clean Ganga Revamped

With the establishment of Bengal Province as a Special Administrative Zone shared by the Kingdom of Cochin and Republic of Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Industry is planning to restart the Project Clean Ganga to prevent pollution of this vital water body and a cultural icon in Indian Subcontinent. Technological improvements in the Kingdom in the years since the first PCG and the advantages due to association with Republic of Sri Lanka is expected to make the second endeavor a more fruitful one.

PCG2 would start off with a fresh audit of all industries, commercial establishments and communities along the banks of River Ganga to isolate major pollutants so that a comprehensive strategy to check pollution may be formulated. The Project Clean Ganga 2 would also entail widespread revamp of waste water treatment facilities along Ganga to check organic pollution. A self sustainable industrial model would be developed to prevent pollution of Ganga and to make the added measures directly profitable to those bodies who adopt these measures.
