Message to Vietnam, People's Republic of China, and the Russian Federation

I am sure you have all noted the expansionist policies of the British Empire, with no end in sight and no qualms voiced from any of their allies, of which some are of equal power to they themselves. These allies of Britain include the American Confederacy and New Australia.

Sooner or later, this expansion is going to lead to conflict in this area, and we would rather the target of that conflict no face it alone. Therefore, you are each invited to send representatives to the island of Bali to discuss options.

I realize some of us may have had our differences in the past, but if we don't unite now, then we may fall seperately.

The Vietnamese President was unsure who to send a response to, so as a result, he didn't come up with a response.

An address was provided with the message, for a mailed response, or an anonymous e-mail address if they preferred to reply electronically.

Even a telephone number, if that was what they wished.

OOC: Alright, sure, don't invite the guy with the only actual anti-colonization doctrine. It's cool. I'll just go cry in the corner. :(
OOC: They're opposing your co-signatory of the anti-colonization doctrine, so...yeah. :P

OOC: In case you haven't noticed Mergerberger, you're allied to America, and through them, Britain. Drake is right, actually.

OOC:I have an anti-colonization doctrine too.

I would like to ask why Brasil was not invited?

OOC: Because you're not in Asia. This is mainly for Asians, actually. At least initially. Asians with the capability of successfully opposing them.

OOC: cough poland cough
OOC: What, you mean the Poland that has two nukes pointed at it? You're not in the same area as these nations. This is an Asian thing, I'd assume.

OOC: correct.

Now people, please cut down on the chatter. Relevent comments, fine. But nothing inane.

We'll send a representative. However, for the time being, we will not agree to any war with the British Empire, as they are our next door neighbors.

"Believe us, we are not about to declare an offensive war against them. This is to prepare for any possible future conflict. I am glad you are sending a representative.

The Russian Federation is very interested, to say the least.

"We are glad to hear it."

--------

All delegates upon arrival would be greeted at the airport with an honor guard of ten troops, as well as an official diplomat and limosine to escort them to the meeting.

On second thought, we will reconsider sending a representative to Bali. As you have only invited three wee nations, we think that your attempt is too small. No offense. Therefore, we are inviting representatives from all countries around the world that oppose the British and their allies to Saigon, Viet Nam for a conference.

"Please understand that any ommission of any asian nation was not deliberate. However, we believe it neds to be limited to Asian nations at the beginning. In the future, if we can agree on others, they can be invited. If nothing else, please send that representative to discuss the issue of the Strait of Malacca."

"We believe that the enemy is gobbling up land too quickly for the conference to involve only Asian nations. However, we will send a representative to discuss the Straits of Malacca. Or you can send yours to Viet Nam, since there will hopefully be people there to discuss the Empire anyway. Whichever is more convenient to you."

"How about both? Your delegate here can discuss the issue of the Strait, and in the meantime enjoy the hospitality of an island that could be labelled as paradise. In any case, we will send a representative to your conference."
