HRH is in a very somber mood, and does not look happy. The Press Corps is getting restless, and is eagerly awaiting the King's speech. Mr. Hughes goes to the background, and the King stands alone on the podium - HRH King Raymond II: Good morning. Today, I bring you some good news and some bad news. The bad news will go first. As you know, the Special Elections that occurred turned the Government into a minority status. After non-stop negotiations, Prime Minister Kennish decided for the good of the Nation, a snap election will be held, putting up all the seats to fill the terms of Government. In the meantime, I will assume Emergency Government powers until the Election on November 7th. As for the good news, we have established authority on two unclaimed Islands in the South Pacific. One which is off the coast of Java, which we have sent the Second Naval Division to use as a base of Operations. The other is off the southwest corner of the PRC-occupied region of Golgotha, between New Cymru and Acca Dacca. We have established satellite communications and military operations on that Island. (OOC: both Islands are white, aka unoccupied). So, Minilla Island continues to expand its influence in the South Pacific. We will entertain any questions. It was listed on the map on page 3 as Keshavs and the other as Javas, and taken off when Iamthey did the map. OOC: Do you think I would be stupid enough to destroy my own RP strategy if those places were pink? I did this in good faith. When I saw white, and they were tiny, I went for it. My own RP strat was altered, but not destroyed. I check the maps 2-3x per day. I don't need someone saying they are propping me up. Minilla Island Posted September 30, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) Now that this is settled, Minilla Island will finish the job in setting up the Satellite Tracking and Communications outpost at Natuna Besar Island. Also, we are proud to announce that a Minilla Island oil company, Petrox, will be setting up their oil platforms in the area. ARMIGAS will also be setting up Natural Gas drilling operations in the same area. To that end, Minilla Island shall be sending the Fourth Fleet, anchored by the carrier, HMS Pulgasari, the battleship HMS Neutrallis, and the submarine HMS Zandelle.
