The stunning building stands 484 meters (1,587.9 ft) up in the air and has a total of 118 floors. The building will only serve as housing for civilians and some government officials. The area around the building has several gardens, parks and swimming pools for recreational activities. V The King
OOC: Christ you guys, 1000ft tall buildings are not built overnight. I'd say give it one or two IRL months before most of those are actually completed. IC: Several Vinilandese private contractors have taken interested in developing the island, and have dispatched dozens of thousands of laborers, supervisors and engineers in addition to construction materials and food 'n medical supplies, as people working need to eat and stay healthy. The intention is to build several residential and commercial blocks, as well as laying the basic structure for public services such as roads, schools, parks and hospitals, while the buildings themselves will focus on being efficient and environmentally friendly, making extensive usage of solar panels and vegetation at the rooftops and employing efficient systems of energy deliverance. The architectural style will be largely a mix of old-modern styles, colonial and post-modern. One of the residential blocks will be modeled after a similar one in Nadrink, Viniland's capital A green office building, literally A green condominium complex 'Ye old office skyscraper

loannes
Two months Real time seems kinda long, but most of my !@#$ is still under cons. OOC: 1 month in RL equals 1-3 years in RP. So it's much more reasonable to build cities in 6 years than two days.

Colerich Krieg
Its a bunch of houses and office buildings. So they wont be a real threat towards anyone. loannes
OOC: You can't build that many houses and office buildings that fast. Slow it down a bit, build gradually.

Shadowsage
Construction of the main economic center for the islands, while slowed by the necessity to allocate the proper amount of shipping to supply the massive needs of resources for continued building, has begun to pick up steam. Project managers are confident that eventually the time-frame provided to them (around a year) will be met and possibly revised to a closer date as construction continues. A secondary building designed to house construction workers for their long jobs, as well as provide a place for visiting family members, has sprouted up with astounding speed. Though barely half complete, already workers have begun claiming rooms as their own and transferred over from their private quarters in a tent-city a scant 300 meters away. This means that some workers are literally laying down and sleeping next to their equipment after a tough day's work. Productivity has understandably increased significantly at the improved commute to work. Other construction personnel have begun breaking ground on various other buildings; priority has been given to advanced docks in order to speed up the delivery of goods and additional workers. More on construction as it develops.
Elrich von Richt
As per agreement with the Imperium, a contracting group from Normandy along with over 1,000 settlers have been sent to the Madeira Islands. As soon as these settlers arrive, they will begin construction of Folkstad [People's City] on the main archipelago. A governer [represenative] will be chosen by the populace and receive recognition by the Norman government. The contractors sent will represent "Le Groupe de Architecture Normandaise" [LGAN], a joint group founded especially for this colonial venture. =-=Hours Later=-= The Norman ships arrive off the coast, carried by brown water naval ships, mainly merchant vessels. The land looks beautiful, so rough and unsettled. The Norman settlers are confident they can establish a modern civilization here, with time, and will enjoy watching it prosper. Word had already reached von Richt of the colonial settlers arrival in the Madeira Islands. The Presidenten was ecstatic, and overcome with joy. Norman culture would remain here, and the Norman settlers began impromptu construction of light-housing and a town center/city hall. Folkstad Town Hall Some Prefabricated Housing brought with the Settlers, the first colonial Housing.
JEDCJT
Thousands of New Englander construction workers, contractors, and managers arrived at the Madeira Islands, where they immediately went to work on the main economic center alongside their counterparts from the Holy Imperium. The New Englanders brought with them highly-advanced equipment that enabled them and their allies to work more efficiently and faster, as to help the Imperium project managers to meet the time-frame. A New Englander contractor studys a blueprint Along with the New Englanders, vessels carrying vast amounts of construction equipment (cement, electricity lines, steel, etc) arrived at the islands’ ports, where they were channeled into the construction of the main economic center as well as other parts of the islands. A cargo vessel carrying construction supplies and equipment Meanwhile, the New Englanders also had plans of their own: they would construct a new city on the left side of the left island. The planned city was to be named New Boston, and it would be built to highest New Englander standards. Andrew Miller was tasked with the overall planning and coordination of the construction project; large quantities of resources and workers were put to the construction of the new city. According to Millet’s planning managers, New Boston would be completed in as little as “five to seven years, perhaps less.” A virtual rendering of the city was unraveled to Miller’s planning group as well as representatives of the Holy Imperium.
