Deep Blue C Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 (edited) How does the cost of improvements change as you buy more improvements? I thought I had it, but then I either had it wrong, or it changed. So can someone give a definitive answer? 1=500 2=550 each? 15=950 each thanks Deep Edited October 30, 2007 by Deep Blue C Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
philp110 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 Not sure either, but I have 35, daily cost per improvement is 1425. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheDave Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 60 improvments and 3k each. I think it peaks at 3k much earlier on Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jacob the Malignant Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 (edited) 1 = $500 2 = $1000 3 = $1500 So I think the upkeep goes up by $500 for each improvement Edited October 30, 2007 by Kaiser Jacob II Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Deep Blue C Posted October 30, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 (edited) 1 = $5002 = $1000 3 = $1500 So I think the upkeep goes up by $500 for each improvement But 15 is only $950 each. OK if 1=500, 15=950 and 35=1425, it isn't a linear relationship, so I suspect that there are steps involved at different places. I thought I remember 2 being 550, but I can't be sure. If anyone else can add more data to this we may be able to figure it out. Can we copy and add to: 1:=500 15:=950 18:=950 35:=1425 60:=3000 Thanks Deep Edited October 30, 2007 by Deep Blue C Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I payed my bills today I thought that my improvement bill had said "$9,500.00" with my 15. I don't really know, but I would like to see an answer if someone is 100% sure Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Crackonia Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 Number of Nation Improvements 33 Daily Improvement Bill $1,500.00 Strange...think it would be unique to what improvements you have? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Deep Blue C Posted October 30, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 1:=500 7:=600 (a friend in RL tells me) 15:=950 18:=950 33:=1500 35:=1425 But I've just found out that Capitalism now gives a 5% reduction in improvement upkeep costs - which would make this 1500 60:=3000 Strange...think it would be unique to what improvements you have? But surely then, you would have to know what the different upkeeps were. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Crackonia Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 True. I think that Capitalism tidbit explains the numbers from the 35 upkeep being lower than the 33 upkeep. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
shopt Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 It is definitely in brackets, ie. A to B improvements cost $x each C to D cost $y each. I have 14 and they cost $750 each, so it seems it jumps to $950 each at 15. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Crackonia Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 At 34 and 35, I still had 1500. So it might be an increase periodically. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JoshuaR Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 At MFO we were beginning to track this number when writing the improvement guide, just for the sake of knowledge. But after a while we grew tired of it... pretty useless anyway. Yes brackets, and so forth. Exact numbers... eh. Mostly important just at the max cost now that there are improvement bill reducers. Deep Blue C Posted October 31, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 But after a while we grew tired of it... pretty useless anyway. I know what you mean, but for me when I read.. You must pay taxes on your nation improvements at a starting rate of $500 per day (this figure goes up the more improvements you own.) it implies to me "We're not gonna tell ya", to which my reaction is "FU I'm gonna find out anyway." Call me sad but that's the way I am.16:=950 (still) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
unbiased mod Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 Number of Nation Improvements 38 Daily Improvement Bill $1,500.00 Monarchy good? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheDave Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 My guess would be 40 improvements is 2k each, 45 is 2,500 and 50 onwards in 3k Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Deep Blue C Posted October 31, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 (edited) So we have 1:=500 . 7:=600 . ??-14:=750 15-19+:=950 (750 to 950 seems a very strange jump) . 33-38 :=1500 (?30-40?) 40-45:=2000 (?40-50?) 52:= 3000 60+ :=3000 I'm not giving up on this yet!
