Malatose
I. PreambleThe Governments of the Greater Nordic Reich and the Slavic Empire consider it the prerequisite of a lasting peace that every nation in the world shall receive the space to which it is entitled. They have, therefore, decided to stand by and cooperate with one another in their efforts in the regions of Europe. In doing this it is their prime purpose to establish and maintain a new order of things, calculated to promote the mutual prosperity and welfare of the peoples concerned for the purpose of realizing their ultimate object, European peace. II. Recognition of Sovereignty A. The Greater Nordic Reich recognizes and respects the leadership of the Slavic Empire in the establishment of a new Slavic order in Eastern Europe. B. The Slavic Empire recognize and respect the leadership of the Greater Nordlandic Reich in the establishment of a new order in Western/Nordic Europe. III. Non-Aggression Each signatory agrees to never take offensive action against the other under any circumstance. IV. Economy Both parties agree to mutally eliminate tarriffs on goods they do not domestically produce and lower them on those that they do produce. V. Cancellation Each signatory, should they wish to void this pact, must privately inform the other 24 hours before the treaty is officially voided. Generalissimo
Those in “Greater” Nordland Reich's current administration have a history of consistently violating these sort of peace agreements, especially with non-Nords, I strongly recommend the Slavic Empire to remain continually vigilant. Generalissimo
Did Martens not agree to non-aggression with East Germany a week before betraying President Norris? An agreement from Martens is worth less than the paper it’s written on. I’m old enough to remember Deutschland’s ‘annexation’ of Switzerland, a free neutral Switzerland who was guaranteed cooperation and autonomy, a Switzerland who’s only crime was being a little to close to Germany. If you don’t remember that, what about Denmark or the Kingdom of Belgium? If anyone doubt’s Marten’s unquenchable bloodlust for conquest just look at Finland, Suriname, the Guyanas, Sudan, France, Bosnia, Croatia, Romania, Slovenia Spain, Portugal, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, or North Africa.
