"I am here today to announce a very special happening within The Maghreb. After convening with the Senate, Prime Minister Hajjar and I would like to announce The Maghreb's new foreign affairs policy. In times like these, the political climate makes alignment and treaties dangerous, even deadly to a nation at times. However, we have no business in warring or angering other states. We believe that allies can be made of all sides and creeds. From now on, The Maghreb will take a stance of permanent and total neutrality. We will pursue trade agreements and non-aggression treaties, however we will not be signing military obligation treaties or aligning ourselves with any particular blocs. We hope that we can follow a new path, one where nations do not have to choose between others for mutual benefit." And there it was. The Maghreb had pledged itself to permanent neutrality. The President and Prime Minister were then open for questioning.
