Subtleknifewielder
The Dragon tilted his own head curiously at the children. He reached out clawed hand slowly, gently, and with the precision of a surgeon with those crude ivory weapons he carefully ruffled their hair without rendering a single scratch. He nodded to the elders.. if a quidpartite jaw could smile, his was doing it. He appreciated the youth.. didn't matter what the species. He crouched down a bit so they could get a better look at him. A few of the watching adults had their mouths and eyes open wide in surprise...but they blinked, and those that were able to recognize the expression for what it was returned the smile. The children, not needing to be invited twice, completely left off staring at Roxas and moved closer to Star. They were particularly fascinated by his jaws, so different from their own...but they curiously examined him from that end to the tip of his tail. Maelstrom Vortex
To satisfy their curiosity a bit more he opened his 4 way jaws revealing a proboscis and jet black tongue. He then closed the jaws back. He stretched out his wings, twitched his tail side to side.
Subtleknifewielder
The children were, of course, delighted. But as the other children continued their fascinated examination, one very little girl, about six years of age, remained in front of him. She babbled something that would probably seem incomprehensible, as it was in the Dwarven tongue. Archon had to translate. "She asks if you're a...monster. I should probably let you know that 'monster' does not necessarily mean an evil thing in our culture, merely a creature or being vastly different from us, and from a different world."
