Xenu. Surrender.

Amid fluids unknown and pulses yet to be named, the man so named Xenu found himself hovering precariously at the edge of madness. Visions of red men with axes, multitudes of dark creatures phasing in and out of reality, apparitions of phantoms tempting him to jump over the edge.. these all haunted him. With a mighty roar, he ripped himself free from the impulses, the thoughts and the madness and everything wrong with the world and took his first breath.

Xenu.

Rapture flooded through his body with the voice; but a deep voice that chilled you to your soul.

Xenu.

Rapture.

Surrender.

Xenu forced himself to open his eyes, the slits of his helmet moving with his flesh. He was not yet flesh but not yet machine - a mix in between. He was God's hole in the world, a deformity that needed to be wiped out. Yet he fulfilled his mission with importance and enslaved himself in the machine. It was a crime against humanity, but his inhumanity gave him no thought. No thought to make it a crime.

Order 26:52.

His eyes, the epitome of madness, swept across the pitch black sphere that was humanity. In a moment, the madness was gone, heading one way: north east. To the sword. To Byzantine.

OOC: Heheh...nice. >:3

IC: Constantinople.

Constantinople, Byzantium.

The capital of the Republic of Byzantium, the city with a population of some 14 million.

And led by nothing other than John Kelikark, Leader of the Republic of Byzantium, the National Party, and the Government. Well, this wasn't about to be the case, anymore.

Constantinople was under martial law, its inhabitants chafing under the repressive mechanisms put in place and by the tactics of the Gizli Polis. With all its fortifications and measures in place, Constantinople (like the rest of Byzantium, although admittably not as well protected against nuclear attacks), was supposedly the heavily-fortified city in all of Asia, if not the world.

But then, even the best-protected systems have a gap, a loophole, anything of that sort. The gap that a certain somebody, at the right opportunity, would certainly exploit...

OOC: This is a little graphic.//IC

And exploit they would.

"$%&@. You."

Kill.

Xenu smirked at the mans words before slitting his throat, letting the blood spray all over the pond in the middle of the town. The three guards would traumatize the poor town for life. A familiar rapture filled Xenu's nerves when he heard the voice, and it spurred him on. The swords were practically extensions of his body as Xenu swirled in his dance with death, the bullets fracturing in contact with the sword, which sliced them in two. Soldiers fell in pools of their own blood and bile as Xenu calmly passed through the town.

Soon it was over with a cry of "Uptown!" The man was given a quick death.

Surrender.

Rapture.

Xenu took a police van and started it up, turning on the sirens. With efficiency, he rolled down the road heading into Constantinople. Kelikark would be his.

But Constantinople was the most heavily-fortified, and Kelikark was in an unknown location. For all purposes and intents, he would be everywhere. How would Xenu hope to find him?

That, and there was a passport system, meaning that anyone that wanted to enter or leave Constantinople would have to show an ID and any vehicles be subjected to intensive inspections. If the mysterious man didn't have one, he would immediately be branded an 'enemy' and a red alert would be issued. Soon, the Army and the Gizli Polis would be bearing upon him. He'd need a miracle to get into Constantinople undetected, indeed...

At the outskirts of Constantinople, Xenu was stopped by several Gizli Polis officers who were checking vehicles. As they ordered him out, he stepped out and the guards got a good look at him. Instantly alarmed, they ordered him to get against the car and pulled their weapons.

Surrender.

The rapture of death appeared once more. One man fell with a dagger in his throat, another with two blown kneecaps and a collapsed skull. When four more rushed over with guns drawn and fired, he let out the closest thing to a laugh he could and jumped on top of his van. With a fluid motion unlike anything seen by man, a pistol was drawn, fired and slipped back into he cover in two seconds. All four fell with a bullet lodged in them. Burst mode was fun.

Xenu knew this would raise alarms, so he grabbed a confiscated motorcycle and went down the road, heading swiftly to the next checkpoint.

Several Gizli Polis officers were milling around in their posts, manning submachine guns and smoking cigarettes. It was an usual day, nothing else out of the blu--wait. They caught sight of something, or rather, someone off in the distance. He (or it, or whatever) was on a motorcycle and speeding up right at them.

Greatly alarmed, and forgetting their cigarettes, the Gizli Polis soldiers raised their weapons. "Halt!" They yelled, and with fear chawing away at them. When the mysterious being, however, didn't obey and continued to speed right at them, the soldiers began firing, hoping for the best...

Halt!

No.

Xenu sped up, crashing through the barriers in front of him. When bullets started flying, he simply leaned back and let them fly through, contorting his body into impossible positions. Minutes later, he was through, heading into Constantinople. Kelikark would be his. Undoubtedly, he would be put into a high-security room with only one way in and one way out, heavily guarded and probably rigged.

The rapture would be his.

He would be lucky. But still, it would be only a matter of time before the Army and Gizli Polis were on his trail. Constantinople, despite boasting a population of 14 million, was nearly empty -- and this made it easier for the police to track him down. They would be hot on his trail soon, and it would be quite a drive as Constantinople was a massive city.

He would need luck, and lots of it. Or perhaps not.

Only time shall tell.

As he drove into Constantinople, he noticed the empty streets. Xenu thought this a strange occurrence, but quickly deserted his motorcycle just in case. As the vehicle crashed into a large store full of fireworks and the entire block went up in flames, Xenu took the time to jump across several buildings, heading towards the last known coordinates of Kelikark.

The massive explosion and the ensuing flames undoubtably attracted police attention, and as Gizli Polis and Army soldiers rushed toward the scene to try to douse out the fires. They didn't notice a certain figure dart from building to building nearby...

John Kelikark was in a hidden, underground bunker located several blocks away from the Dolmabahce Palace. But the bunker was well-camoflauged, and to the untrained person, was difficult to find. That, and there were several underground corridors into the bunker guarded by heavily-armed soldiers, security cameras, and all the usual security measures.

As stated earlier, Xenu would need sheer luck, skill, and cunning to get to Kelikark successfully.

OOC: Who is Xeno? :awesome: I only know a Xenu//IC

Idiots.

Xenu darted to the top of the Dolmabahce Palace, sneaking in through the roof. Strangely, the Palace was almost as deserted, with only a few guards scattered about. Xenu knew this wasn't the place, but he still felt the need for the bliss. The death toll rose with each floor as blood poured across the walls, a haunted scene and chilling screams going through the air.

The sun was just falling. It would be a long night.

--

At the bunker level of the palace and brimming with vibrancy, Xenu relentlessly started beating down the closed doors of the bunker that would lead to the others. He would explore every corridor is need be. His energy was maximized. There would be no stopping the toll of death.

Kill.

When the bunker doors imploded on themselves, he stepped over the rubble and started running through the corridors.

Shhhh.

IC: As Xenu darted down the corridor, a technican watching through the security camers in the control room, noticing that the bunker had been breached, sounded the alarm. "Bunker breached!" He yelled into the radio transmitter. "Eliminate this....thing, and at once!"

Immediately, heavily-armed guards barricaded the corridors with file cabinets, chairs, desks, whatever, trying to obstruct the mysterious man's path. Leader John Kelikark and his circle of Government were in an electronically-locked room somewhere. BUT they were trapped; although there were several corridors, there was only one way in and out of the bunker. And this was the way that the mysterious man came in.

But still, Kelikark and his government wasn't about to go down without a good fight. And the heavily-armed guards were there to show that. Whenever they even saw Xenu, or even a glimpse of him, they would fire overwhelming hails of bullets down the narrow corridors...

Overwhelming was an understatement.

A wall of lead destroyed the barrier he had put up, but Xenu knew that it was all he needed. As the guards went to reload, Xenu popped up from behind the desks and bookshelves that were put up (and accidentally became a barrier for him) and started expertly exploding some heads. The rapture returned, flooding his body with adrenaline that he sorely needed. He jumped from a desk across an entire corridor, rolling at the last part and avoiding bullets for the most part.

At the end, when he started getting close enough to smell Kelikark, he was struck in the face by a blast from a shotgun. His helmet flew off and he disappeared behind a shelf. Acid leaked from "veins" from his suit onto the walls like a severed artery. The guard ducked underneath the spray and aimed his shotgun at Xenus face.

SURRENDER!

Xenu, jumped forward and positioned the acid spray at the mans face, quickly decaying through the flesh, muscle and sinew and going to the bones. A bloodcurdling screamed was silenced in a moment as the acid stopped flowing. Xenu's face, horribly disfigured and monstrous, peered down the corridor. Kelikark was there.

"I'm coming for you, Kelikark!" Xenu boomed out, hoping to put fear into his enemies. When the bullets started flying again, he had a human shield. Xenu slowly advanced towards the room Kelikark was held in.

As the last of the soldiers fired upon the mysterious, but deadly, Xenu, they fell to the ground, writhing in pain and agony. The only thing standing between Xenu and Kelikark was the electronically-locked door. The last last of defense was all but gone.

Inside the room, Kelikark began sweating as he heard the gunfire, and screams of pain and agony, grow nearer and nearer. Glancing at several members of his Government, Kelikark gulped as he walked over to the desk and pulled out a Desert Eagle out of the top drawer. The other members did the same. Reloading and readying it, Kelikark took in a deep to calm his breath as he crouched behind the heavy desk, preparing for a final showdown.

As he awaited the inevitable, Kelikark's life began to flash before his eyes. He sighed deeply as he grasped his Desert Eagle tighter. Sharing a final glance with his circle, Kelikark smiled sadly and nodded once. He then turned his gaze at the door.

'God, please forgive me.' Kelikark prayed silently to himself.

It was probably his final thought.

(OOC: Okay, you do the honors next update. But try not to make it too graphic, k? Have fun! =3)

'God, please forgive me.' Kelikark prayed silently to himself.

Xenu reached the door and snickered at the pathetic defenses. He reached his hand out and touched the doorway, feeling the electric current. With a grunt, the current turned off and the door slowly opened. The lit room reminded him of home, before he fell into this madness. For just one brief second, his humanity washed over him.

Xenu.

And then it was gone.

Surrender.

Rapture.

---

The rest of Kelikarks circle were dead, each of their heads sliced from ear to ear and not a single bullet fired. He slowly walked over to Kelikark.

"Your people will be free once more. Be glad." With that, Xenu raised his blade and rammed it through his temple, an old tradition from a tribe he grew up in. An honorable death for a dishonorable opponent. Kelikark was suspended in air, dead in an instant, and Xenu looked down. This bunker allowed for external communication only to be broadcast on all signals throughout the nation - in effect, a propaganda bunker.

The voice was gone, not guiding him anymore. More than a shell, Xenu dropped Kelikark, wiped off his blade and turned on the signal. In a minute, televisions and radio stations all across Byzantine were being fed this signal.

---

"Greetings, Byzantine. My name is John Kelikark." Kelikarks voice gave a laugh. "Or, I should say, I am Kelikarks assassin. His voice is all you need to hear - if you look on your television screens you will see my head, rather, his, is not moving." He gave another chuckle. "My point, citizens of Byzantine, is that John Kelikark and his circle of advisers are all dead. As a matter of fact, the entire Palace of Dolmabahce is dead. Most of Constantinople is probably about to be engulfed in flames if you do not return." He gave a sigh.

"It is with great pleasure that I, whos name you shall never know, announce the return as head of states of Byzantine, Jed and Aaron Constantine. In addition, the Western Republic's very own General Hayley endorses this rightful government, and will be sponsoring their return. Thank you. You will not be hearing from me again."

Xenu promptly walked out of the room, the bunker, the palace, the city, the country.

I will never surrender.

OOC: This is sorta separate from the "Chronicles of a Deposed Leader" thread, as it takes place later in the future. ;)

IC: In Melbourne, Promised Land/New Cymru, in a residence home, two certain brothers gaped at the television screen. Even Henry 'gaped' in shock. John Kelikark was...dead? This was certainly...unexpected, so to say.

Tearing his eyes away from the television screen, Jed looked at Aaron and heaved a long sigh. "...Oh wow...just wow..." He managed to say before shaking his head. Aaron nodded his head slightly. "Yes...but he deserved it. Pity we didn't have to deal with him, though. I would've loved to face him in a duel or something."

Jed chuckled as he rolled his eyes. Typical Aaron. "Yes, indeed...seems that we'll have to return to Byzantium..." He trailed off as he thought of a certain young woman that he fell in love with. Sighing deeply, Jed put his face in his hands, Aaron patting him on the back.

OOC: That's it! This thread is now over. I'll make a new one. Until then, hope you liked this RP! =3
