Soviet Britian Posted October 13, 2007 Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 I am a former LSF member and I am looking for an alliance to join. my situation is 'complicated' to put it nicely. let's just say that after a week of war- my Nation has lost over 1000 infra, 100 tech, 7 improvements (destroyed so i could pay my bills) and about 9000 solders. my nation has been all but destroyed... I am bound by the terms of surrender offered to my nation by (right wing alliance). 1: Send 50t to a (righting wing alliance), NV or FEAR member. If not enough tech, send whatever is allowed. 2: Decom all nukes, may not purchase for 30 days 3: Get rid of military improvements for 30 days 4: May not join/make socialist alliances for 30 days 5: May not post anything related to NoV for 30 days. [hence I'm posting 'right wing alliance'] 6: Quit LSF, never to join again 7: Failure to comply will result in perma-ZI. I have tried to join the GDA- but I can't becuase they have an agreement with (right wing alliance) preventing them from accepting former LSF members... I have tried to join the NPO- but I have been refused becuase they feel my request is 'oppurtunistic'. I am currently a '(right wing alliance) POW'- but I can change my AA if I inform the (right wing alliance) member nation that negotiated peace with me. (in other words I am under survilence and effectivley imprisioned (unless I get a new alliance) for the next... 27 days.- oh joy!) as a Libertairan I am having some problems with this whole idea of 'prision'... basically I am looking for an alliance that is willing to tolerate a leftists amongst their membership... but is not offically leftist. I am willing to help out on organisational projects, constitutions, amendements, military organisation, economic management and accounting, publishing a news report each week, international conferences, recruitment, diplomacy, treaty drafting, peace keeping missions... basically anything! We are part of the Hanseatic League and as such we fought (and are still fighting) LSF. We are way on the right hand of the political spectrum, but things are like a circle: the farther right and farther left you go.. the closer you get . About the only 'leftist' policies we have are to redistribute wealth and tech amongst all our members 'for the good of the state'. I have already redistributed over 250 tech from my personal stash. You can call it communistic, socialistic, comune hippy.. we call it right wing. Maybe you could see some similarities there with your beliefs. I dont see why Norden Verein would oppose you joining us for 30 days, but as I said you caused a good impression in our prior treaty negotiations and you are welcome to join us. League of Extraordinary Nations (applied- no response) North Star Federation (registered on site) The German Empire(registered on site) Protectorate of Curland the Forgotten ones (registered on site- I love the Graphics!) that is a long list.... the alliance below- I have had a look at, but i will turn down; simply becuase I'm democratically inclined- and don't work well in kindgoms, orders, empires or monarchies in general. no offence intended- I just don't want to cause any trouble... the mushroom kingdom Samurai of the Sun the Order of Light The Kazarian Order the IDD, HoG and NADC- just aren't for me i don't think... I really hate those terms. I have talked to Marcos, and did ask to join- I also needed the address to the forums becuase I'm using a different computer network. I would join if I could... We are extremely well set up and have a good mix of experienced and new members. As you may or may not know we are a developing NPO protectorate that is striving to make a name for ourselves (or a better name is more like it). I am a leftest (Marxus) as are a few of my leaders. On the flip side we have some conservatives (Master Conservative, etc). We keep a good balance in our membership. I would love to have someone on board that would be willing to do news reports. I publish alliance updates every now and then, but find myself too busy to fully commit to it. If you are interested check the link in my sig.
