And that's what they paid us for. Just standing around, swinging our keyboards, singing the old Bump ballad. The pay wasn't much. But we were satisfied with our lives... and we did our jobs with pride. Not like today's people. That I know. 'Less you bribe them with a mil to a bump, they won't even check in for work. And the lag? Don't even get me started on the lag. Why, with the old connections we used to work with, it could take the better part of 10 minutes just to say "post."
