The special Congressional Committee on boosting Madagascar's global presence officially sends a letter to all nations, requesting recognition, assistance, and participation in restoring, for the international stage, the AFIS organization (Association of Football for International Squads).

In the letter, the committee proposes the following:

- The new AFIS will be based in Madagascar, a globally neutral power.

- Each participant within the organization will get one representative, to work at a new Headquarters in downtown Antananarivo

- The first official Tourney will be held in Madagascar, with a possible voting scheme to allow the tourney to travel around the world.

Responses to the petition will be accepted, and representatives of all nations will be welcome to air any questions, concerns, or comments before the Congressional Committee in Antananarivo.

Having been a longtime member of AFIS and great fan of the sport it represented the Athenian Federation was the first to pledge its full support as well as provide in the financing and an offer to establish a regional headquarters in the building that once hosted AFIS' predecessor FIFA.

The Faraway Ministry for sports and Leisure Activities would inform the AFIS that while sport was an important part of grooming young people, football was seen as a sport for the masses and not refined enough for the likes of Faraway to receive financing or state support. Rather, badminton, lacrosse, fencing, chess and equestrian skills were listed as some, but not the only, proper and ladylike activities for young Faraway women of proper social standing.

The ongoing yet proven temporary loss of Association of Football for International Squads really was a loss for entirety of mankind. Bear Islands' Nation of the Bear shall be signing the petition of supporting this international sporting event. One question remains in the minds of the bear. Are You Ready For Some Football?

In order to get a bit of international presence, the Faraway Union would actually start funding a football team, the Faraway Football Faeries. In contrast to UN membership, the Royal Assembly actually could see a chance of this paying off in some way or another.

At this newest revelation, Captain of the Meihua'a Squad, Jin Shi, would comment, saying "I hope the Faraway team is aware that swords and horses aren't allowed in this manly and unproper game.". Edited by Horo the Wise Wolf

Of all the major sports in the active Commonwealth soccer wasn't the most popular, but it still had a very strong following.  The American response to the creation of an international level soccer league was mostly non-governmental in nature, with domestic leagues coming together to determine the process of selecting players from across the nation to compete for the national team.  Most of the funding would be from private sources, ads and endorsements with little input from the government, although some assistance would be rendered in terms of speeding up passport processing and other miscellaneous things that would make the American team run more smoothly.

Prussia would politely decline, citing the popularity of its own internal Bundesliga, and the necessary time commitment such a league requires of its players.
