"While the Dai-Tōhoku Renpō respects the regional policing regime of the SAO and wishes not to intervene in matters of the South American nations, it is saddening to see how long response times are in South America these days. The fact that for months the Bolivians can wage a war against the SAO protectorate without SAO intervention is not casting a good light on the SAO as a regional policing regime and the fact that Bolivia prides itself in the acquisition of nuclear weaponry while being openly an expansionist autocratic regime with no respect for international law only causes these matters of regional importance to become matters of global importance. The Dai-Tōhoku Renpō thus would urge Amazonia and others to take steps to end this threat and to keep a closer watch on their neighbourhood, as otherwise the possibility of intervention by global powers is no longer a possibility, but guaranteed. It can thus only be in the interest of South America to take immediate and decisive action, especially as this is quickly developing from a threat in South America to a threat at the Pacific Rim."

-Nakamichi Minoru, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Dai-Tōhoku

Tianxia applauds its fellow Security Council member, Russia in its sentiments.  May we suggest a multilateral solution to ending this conflict followed on by an investigation in accordance with those who have the proper forensics capabilities.

We are always glad to work with Tianxia and the rest of the international community to find quick and efficient solutions to global conflicts.

Threatening things such as this are not recommended. While the SAO polices its own, together, regardless of issue, they stand against any and all outside intervention.

Do take a moment to rethink yourself as your realize that Bolivia has had limited contact with outside entities other than Rhodesia-Nyasaland, Iceland and the Free state of Manitoba. While your concern to the safety of the Pacific Rim is noted, do remember that Dai-Tōhoku Renpō, rests safely within the reach of Tianxia. To worry over the "safety" of the Pacific Rim then is akin to worrying about which pair of shoes one would pick in the morning. - Prime Minister Robles.

"We are not threatening, but stating a fact that can be empirically proven by anyone who has knowledge of policing actions in the past few decades. I do hope Bolivia's stance does not equal the SAO's stance, because even if your scope of operations is regional, to ignore the world beyond South America and their standing policies is ignorant and potentially counter-productive to the SAO's objective of South American stability and peace.

To worry about expansionist nations with nuclear weaponry is a valid concern, even for a nation located in Japan. While the threat of conventional force by South Americans indeed would be laughable, a nuclear arsenal can pose a significant threat even to us, due to its capability to cause incredible material and human loss, at the shortest notice, across vast distances with only limited options to counter such an attack. The posession of a nuclear arsenal by an obvious rogue state thus is not a regional issue, but a global one and not a minor issue but a major one."

We have no need to interact with those we do not have interest in. That is a fact. Another would be that the SAO looks to maintain its own stability and peace, we, Bolivia being also a member of the SAO, are not maintaining the world but our corner of it. To say we are rogue is an insult to our very nature. We are simply bringing to justice those who seek to bring harm to our regime. Another fact would be that Russia, Tianxia, The Federale Hierarchy and Japan are all going on misinformation of what has happened inside of our Country and inside the territorial province of South Peru.

Three months ago we went into Peru with the intent of hunting down the renegades within our country, and we are completing this task to this very moment. We have ordered well into advance the Blue Cross, a humanitarian group, into programs in which we have found or made homes for those Peruvians displaced. We went as far as to drop warning pamphlets weeks before the first shelling of known renegade locations, so as to preserve life. Innocent life. To say we are not committed to stability or peace is a foolish notion. If it weren't we would have threatened war, which we chose not to because the value of life in the United Republic is of such a caliber.

We'd also like to refer you to some facts that not even a year ago 89% of Bolivians lived in extreme poverty and thanks to the current and only regime in Bolivia, we're glad to say that only 3% of the population lives in any form of poverty. You incorrectly judge our country, our morals and our status set based off misinformation. If you'd like to mention "expansionist states" we can surely provide you the name of a few. This whole spiel goes to show what the United Republic had chosen right in not maintaining relationships with outsiders who clearly cannot see the situations at hand without assuming and eroding your own reputation. - General Ortan Cassio

"If such a matter is true then you would have no objection to Tianxia introducing a security council resolution to authorize international investigaions from those with expertise as well as the deployment of a peace keeping force to help assure the humanitarian mission you claim to be providing no?" While the sentiment in your statement is noted, we cannot allow foreign military, or peacekeepers into South America, although we would be willing to allow a team of certified professionals to watch the Blue Cross at work. We are not with allowing foreign peacekeepers into South America and that statement can be said in sure faith that every South American nation would agree. - Secretary of Foreign Affairs; The United Republic of Bolivia.

Except that international forces supercede regional forces and have primary responsibility for peace and security around the globe in accordance with the charter.

Bolivia has signed no such Charter nor would it ever. South American forces will always supersede international forces in issues born from South America. The very SAO was made for this matter.

"Dai-Tōhoku will await a response by Amazonia or other states more qualified in talking about the SAO principles, due to our doubts about the honesty of Bolivian statements. However, we see the closed-mindedness of Bolivia, mixed with a disregard for international law and its nuclear capability as a dangerous combination and an issue that will have to be dealt with."

With tensions growing higher and higher by the day, President Jose Gomez has ordered all military and police personnel out of Peru and to return to their respective headquarters in Paraguay.

Paraguay supports SAO intervention in the region via peacekeeping forces.

Tianxia long enduring surveillance drones would begin over flight and target mapping of involved South American countries.

(OOC: This is a closed thread, please begin your own thread if you wish to continue posting about this issue. Take a minute to read the tags while you're at it.)

IC: Tianxian drones would find nothing upon entering United Bolivian Airspace due to Counter UAV measures, rendering their missions obsolete and unachievable.

ooc: I’m not a GM or anything… (oh wait) but you can only close a thread when all parties agree it should be closed. In this case you didn’t ask the SAO if you could invade their protectorate and have it be a closed rp.
