The Union of the Caucasus wishes to remind the Dark Mark military that a communist government had been elected, and if that communist government is not restored upon liberation of the Dark Mark, the Union will intervene to see the rightfully elected Communist government installed.

A reply was sent to the military in Dark Mark

 

"The policy of the Republic of Sumatra regarding foreign aid of militaries is that they need to be monitored at all times by RDF troops. We are willing to send weapons and rounds as well but they need to be controlled by Sumatran troops until your men need them. It is not that we do not trust you, but many nations in the past have felt the pain of arming foreign troops. We are planning on shipping over 500 more RDF troops with the bullets for more security now that we know the enemy is funded well."

 

 

The Sumatran air force pilots were ready for this, after training for months they have come to this time when they were to show their worth. The pilots jumped into their planes and began to repel off the enemy air craft.

As 500 more Sumatran Troops arrived, no longer a Guerrilla Army, all 2500 Soldiers Gathered together.

 

"Men, a change of plans. Remember the Military Complex 20 miles from here? We are goin there.  Pilots, prep the planes, get them in the air. We are going to strike both sides at once and come around for one pass. Then we will send the Troops to the back, and fight to the death. We have Tracers, we use those clips." He Continued to show them the crates of ammunition. "We also have Hollow Point Bullets if we get into crowded areas. These will be equipped at all times with your side arms. Now men, there is a good chance that we wont make it back alive, but in case we do, let me tell you this. We are fighting a army of Tyrannical Terrorists. The death of one of those Bastards will make it all worth it."

 

he then Ordered the SUmatran soldiers forward to the Complex and ordered the Sumatrans to attakc first due to there training and advanced weapons capabilities. Quickly following the attack, the Dark mark Soldiers will storm the building from a seperate entrance in a attempt to gather intel and kill any remaining troops.

 

As The troops arrived, he gave the command to commence the bombings. The first round was a succes and as the second round came, one fighter was shot down by the air defense systems while the rest got out unscaved. Now it was time to see not only the strength but the loyality of the Sumatran Soldiers.

After a successful insertion into the Dark Mark capital's airport, the 5th Airborne forces held position and did not approach other locations as previously planned. While they occupied the airport, closed temporarily, and prepared to defend the location if necessary, SelCom would continue to monitor the situation on the ground closely and reevaulate the 5th Airborne's mission on an ongoing basis.

We understand that you are not on good terms with the Dark Mark government, we have given them arms already in this conflict. We initially came here to defend civilians and doctors, we are not interested in a war. No more equipment or troops will be sent into Dark Mark as it was not our intended goal in the first place. Our one and only mission is to stop this terrorist group killing innocent civilians and oppressing peoples rights. What happens in the Dark Mark afterwards has nothing to do with us..

OOC: Upon agreement by both me and Isacc, this post will be disregarded with the 2 exceptions of the Airstrikes and the orders to the DARK MARK soldiers. The orders to the Sumatran Soldiers will be disregarded.

After two succesful airstrikes, the Dark Mark soldiers plunged into the Complex. Immediatelly they where outmatched and out gunned. The soldiers began to retreat back nearly immediatelly after breaching the door and they called for  another round of airstrikes around the spot they breached. The Pilots responded:

 

"That is a negative Colonel, we are short on fighters and sense the ba-"

 

Gregor Vidock Interrupted "JUST FUCKING DO IT."

 

As ordered a third round of airstrkies, targeting the entrance to the building, went on.As the bombings where going on, hundreds of rounds whre flying both ways as building after building was destroyed by bombings. Multiple terrorists where being shot at, a small cell of which was still alive on this side of the base, only 1500 soldiers where fighting the military of a nation, not of a terrorist group.

 

The Dark Mark Soldiers pushed forward, killing one terrorist after another, blooding the building's walls and taking enemy ammunition. The Soldiers managed to gather grenades of all types. Flash, Concussion, smoke and Frag. They continued to push on into the office part of the Complex.

 

A three story building, equipped with 200 Terrorists for protection and fully bullet proof walls and windows made it nearly impossible to get through the building. Vidock yelled to his men "If we dont charge now, we will lose this fight!" Immediatelly on those words, 30 of the Soldiers charged forward killing one terrorists after another. The deth of each one brought each soldeir higher morale and more grenades.

 

A sect of 500 soldiers who seperated from the main group pushed to the Weapons Research Complex, where modern and futuristic weapons tech was being developed. Upon breach of the door, the soldeirs discovered drones, Remote Controlled Cars packed with C-4 and Sentry Guns. Suprisingly enough, there as no protection of this building. Whether all of the soldiers went to fight at the Offices or where at other buildings would not be discovered by these men.

 

BOOM!

 

The bulding collapsed after a counter Drone Strike hit the building destroying it, killing 400 of the soldiers. The other 100, where trapped.

 

In the offices,, fighting continued, at a high rate. Alhough the terrorists where being killed, so where the Soldiers. The 1000 Soldiers wo entered the building where now down to 700. As they fought, they where constantly at a disadvantage, considerably, considering that there weapons they where up against where firing at at least 175 Rounds per minute. The Soldiers could only win by might and the will to fight. They had to charge again. This time 60 soldiers charged, in a attempt to take the first floor. Explosions rang through the building, grenades where causing structural damge to the building, causing part of the building to collapse, closing off the top 2 floors and killing or trapping any terrorists that where up stairs. It also killed 50 soldiers, the same fifety that charge the hallway to gain the top 2 floors.

 

The remaining 950 soldiers exited the building placing c4 charges all around it as more fire came from the top two floors. A large explosion was heard as the soldiers retreated and the building collapsed. The soldiers then saw the building. They knew that the others where int here but knew that there was nothing they could do now.

 

They moved on to a small bunker, they sent fifteen troops in to clear it. The ten enemies where all killed, but at the cost of 5 soldiers.

 

Continuing forward, all of the Soldiers moved into the largest barrack, which could house any where from 1000-3000  soldiers. Upon breeching of the door, they relized it was closer to 3000. They took cover immediatelly, knowing that they may be int here for hours, hunkered down, fighting, with no way to get out without getting your brains blown out or getting your throat slit.

 

The firing ceded for a second. The soldiers found it odd, so they looked forward and saw a bomb setting right in the middle of the fighting area. None of the soldiers had bomb training. So they had no choice but to push forward, ignoring the bomb and hoping that the terrorists had retreated. They puched forward to floor two. They moved to Floor 3. Both where clear. Not until they reached floor 4 did theyreach resistance, albeit slim. About 15 soldiers tayed back and the mere force of the Dark mark Military was more then enough to move forward and over power the soldiers.

 

As they moved forward, ready for another gunfight, the bomb went off. It sounded more like a firecracker then a bomb, and only shook the building some.

 

"Men, do not throw grenades, the structure might be weakened by the bomb blast."

 

They still had to advance two more floors. On floor 5, they ran into moderate resistance of about 200 Terrorists. The soldiers where nearly stopped, as another 150 soldiers where killed but in the end, 5 headshots by wounded Gregor Vidock took out the final block of terrorists.

 

On the move to the final floor, they heard what sounded like heavy winds, which was uncharecteristic of the environment. They moved forward more cautiouslly, knowing that something had to be above them.

 

As they moved to the top floor, which turned out to be a roof, they saw multiple Chinook Choppers, all carrying heavy gunners and a lot of soldiers. If they weren't killed in the fighting, they got away.

 

"Men, FIRE AT THE CHOPPERS!!!!!!!!"

 

As Vidock gave the order, the men unloaded hundreds of clips into the choppers, nearly bringing one down and most likely killing 100 more terrorist.

 

"Attention Dark Mark fighters and bombers, You are alerted of 15-20 Chinook Choppers heading your way. If given the oppurtunity, fire all weapons on the Choppers."

 

The Fighters, they unloaded into the choppers. The fighters had the choppers surronded and the ability to shoot all of tehm down. The pilots came over the radio as they circled the Choppers, now hovering in mid air.

 

"All Enemy Chinook Helicopters, if you wish to live, land the choppers now or be shot down."

 

They remained in midair.

 

"Think we are playin? Huh?" As these words came over the radio, the Fighters shot down a single Chinook. After this, another message came over the radio.

 

"If you come down now, you wont be killed."

 

Only one chopper landed. "Good Enough for us, Men Fire at will!"

 

The fighters began to puruse the chopper as they attempted to evade. The choppers where not going to stand a chance against the f-15 fighters, and they knew it. The choppers continued to fire, although there was no chance that they where going to shoot down the Fighters. As 3 more choppers went down, the fighting continued. Another 5 went down. The remaining 6, where given one last chance to land.

 

"Land now and you wont become 1,000,000 pieces."

 

This time, the enemy obliged.

 

The pilots and remiaining soldiers where arrested and taken to the local encampment.

The Sumatran troops and doctors prepared to recieve the wounded Sumatran pilots, as well as Dark Mark troops and POWs. The Sumatran Army was put on standing orders to only attack when attacked or when innocents were under attack, preparations were made for a possible terrorist reaction. RDF troops were on full alert upon receiving the wounded men and women from the attack on the complex. A letter was sent to the Dark Mark commander regarding diplomatic situations in the war.

 

To the commander in charge of the Dark Mark military

Recently we have aided you in this war by means of arms and ammunition. I am sorry to tell you that we will no longer be sending this aid due to current political situations. We will be staying to offer medical aid and humanitarian aid to the population and whoever needs it. We will turn over any terrorists that seek medical aid to you so long as you treat them as proper prisoners of war and they maintain their human rights. We will monitor the situation from a temporary installation separate but attached to your military installation. We will defend our installation, any civilians, or any doctors by any means necessary. This news reached the Military Commander of the Dark Mark. Although he was not happy, he did not seem suprised. They did just slaughter a few thousand Terrorists and with Sumatra being a Humanitarian nation, he knew that wouldnt stand well. He decided to not reply but instead continue the operation. He organized the wounded and sent them to the Sumatran Docters. As for the war heros, the Dark mark Soldiers who survived and the ones who died, they where ordered to rest.

 

As the Sumatran Soldiers stood gaurd on the encampment, housing the soldiers and remaining loyalist civies, a man, appearing from the forest, his arms raised walked towards one of the guards.

 

He Spoke in a think African Accent "I am Colungo Mutombo (OOC: Awesome name right?). I am one of the leaders of the Zizocogo Militia. We have been the ones fighting you and we wish to make a peac-." As he was about to utter the word peace, Gregor Vidock Shot Mutombo 1 in the head, killing him instantly. The Sumatran Soldier standing gaurd looked at Vidock with his hands in the air.

 

Vidock Responded "I don't negotiate with terrorists."

The POW's taken by the Dark Mark soldiers where taken from there encampments to a small building, which had 3 rooms, each of which had make shift walls dividing the rooms.

 

One of the terrorists names was Victoc Mutombo, he was told about his brother's death. He had no reaction. He was not speaking, no matter the question he was asked. He refused to respond or even recognize the Dark Mark soldier interrogating him.

 

"Come on, we know your Mutombo." He still wouldnt respond.

 

The soldier then pulled out his handgun. "I knew this wouldn't be easy." He then proceeded to shot 3 rounds near the feet of Mutombo. "Now if you want to live, talk."

 

"No." This was the first time that Mutombo spoke, which meant he not only knew english but was at least willing to talk, to an extent.

 

"OK, well let me see your hand for a minute. OK, well looks like one finger was already shot of or cut off, you wouldn't mind if I took off another one?"

 

Mutombo just looked away. He did not really care, he had expierenced that pain before. He knew what it felt like and did not think it was a huge deal.

 

"Tough negotiater, eh? Well I guess I got to do it." One round, one finger. Mutombo screamed. "Now if you don't speak your going to lose your hand."

 

"OK, I will tell you everything!"

"OK, tommorow, the Zizocogo are going to bomb this place. They have drones, they wheren't all in that garage. And you know, you are all so ignorant, you thought that was our largest installment, it is not even close. We have control over citys, forests and deserts. We dont control one scranny little village like you scumbags. WE CONTROL THE COUNTRY! Not you, you guys have no power what so ever! You took one little installment, all you have is a crappy piece of shir army that couldnt take on a small squadron of little tiny puppies armed with cuteness." 5 rounds went off, from the soldiers gun killing Mutombo.

The soldier was shocked and at first had no idea how to react, he snapped out of it a few seconds later and rushed to the aid of the man that came from the bush. The man was dead, it was too late to save him at that point. The angered soldier ordered the Dark Mark troops to step away and a group of four Sumatran RDF troops stepped in and grabbed the man up to take to the medical center to be identified. A group of 5 men rushed to the gate and closed it so as to not let the Dark Mark in. A message was sent via the urgent communications line all the way to the Dark Mark HQ.

 

URGENT SECURE DISPATCH:

 

 

YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND COMMITTING A VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS ON SUMATRAN TERRITORY (EASTERN F.O.B DARK MARK). SUMATRA CAME TO THE AID OF YOUR POPULATION AND MILITARY TO END THE STATE OF ANARCHY IN YOUR COUNTRY AND REINSTATE PEACE. ALL SUMATRAN FOOD, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, AND AMMO WITH WEAPONS WILL BE REPOSESED BY SUMATRAN MILITARY, ANY RESISTANCE TO THE REPOSSESSION OF SUMATRAN ASSETS WILL BE MET WITH EQUAL FORCE NOT EXCLUDING ARMED COMBAT. The RDF has a policy of not engaging in offensive war with any nation, the human rights violations in the area of Western Dark Mark using Sumatran aid and committed on Sumatran areas of operation was considered a violation of the agreement made between the nation of Sumatra and the groups in the Dark Mark. As such all assets under the Sumatran flag pulled back to only helping the civilians in the area and not taking any direct effect on the military engagements in the area. The removal of the prisoners and assets however is predicted to have backlash from the Dark Mark military and as such the military readiness of Sumatra would be increased to DEFCON 3. A statement was made to those it concerned on the situation.

"The situation in the area of Dark Mark is indeed disheartening and it has gone to the point where atrocities have been committed by both sides. The Sumatran peacekeepers in the area that were deployed to defend the military and humanitarian aid centers from looters and terrorist groups have witnessed these atrocities first hand. Unfortunately we can not turn back the clock on our aid to the Dark Mark military but we have taken these steps to prevent it happening again."

 

• All security forces under the Sumatran flag will withdraw to the F.O.B
• All assets given under the Sumatran flag to the Dark Mark group, including medical, food, military, and logistical supplies are ordered to be returned.
• All terrorist POWs captured during this period will be transfered to Sumatran RDF bases to be tried under the laws of human rights.
• All Dark Mark troops will remove them selves from Sumatran encampments and will not be allowed within 5 miles.
• Dark Mark resistance to these actions will be met with equal force.

Humanitarian aid from this point on will continue in efforts to make the civilians lives more comfortable in this unfortunate state of anarchy. The Dark Mark has 48 hours to meet these requirements or Sumatran assets will be removed by force to avoid more deaths and misuse of Sumatran Material in voilation of the original contract.

OOC: I didnt, the guard thing, that really doesnt matter because your soldier did not paly a key role, not even a large enough one to identify a name.

 

IC: As soon as Gregor Vidock recieved the news, he informed the team. Although he agreed to most of the terms, a few seemed somewhat out of line to him.

 

"They want to fucking give them the POW's that we caught, that we will interrogate and that we will kill. Screw their fucking humanitarian stupidity. Get all of the POW's, bring them to the rooms. Keep the Sumatran Troops away."

 

1 by 1, terrorists went into the rooms. 3 at a time, interrogated, tortured, interrogated. A simple but working method that extracted some very valuble information.

 

Then 1 at a time, each terrorists was shot and killed before any Sumatran could take them away.

After reading over the peace terms, I agree to hand over all aid, military and humanitarian. I agree to not attack any Sumatrans.

 

I do on the other hand have multiple objections. A Gas Leak today at the terrorist encampment caused the death of all of the POW's, making it impossible to turn them over and their bodies have already went over the rituals that a Dark Mark citizen would go through after death. I also have a question about the being outside 5 miles of the Sumatran Camps. I have no objection, but the camp we are in right now houses Sumatran Soldiers. It is our camp, not yours and should be dealt with accordingly. If anyone this encampment it will be your soldiers or mine dead. Your choice.

The Sumatran RDF issued a warning and an ultimatum to the Dark Mark government to give over the prisoners that were captured during a Sumatran engagement and to leave the base inhabitted by the Sumatran soldiers and doctors. In response they have sent a laughable lie about a false gas explosion when multiple gunshots were heard and prisoners taken away from Sumatran hands. Not only have they lied to us and killed Sumatran POWs, but they have now threatened to remove our soldiers forcefully on pain of death. The president on his way to Selenarctos was informed on the situation using a secure communication line.

 

 

The Sumatran troops in charge of recovering the POWs were ordered to take back the POWs they currently have in their custody and to bring back the military assets. The government had all of the proof it needed and the attack on the POWs was considered an attack on Sumatra. A message was sent to the Dark Mark military outlining that they had another 24 hours to leave the base or that they would be forced out by Sumatran troops, any attack on a Sumatran soldier during this will be an act of war and will be acted upon accordingly.

The 1st Recon Squadron has begun flying missions over the Dark Mark in regions under the protection of the Naval Infantry.  Any major movements in the woods would be picked up under infrared cameras and broadcast to the regional commanders.

Gregor Vidock heard that the Sumtarans did not believe the sory which was given to them about the POW's. Vidock had to think long and hard, whether to abandon the camp or stay and fight a huge army. To many the answer seemed simple, but not to Gregor Vidock. He saw a oppurtunity to overtake a country which had rule for a long time.

 

He continued to think. If the stance failed, his soldiers slaughtered(Which would be incredibly hypocritical of you) and the ones caught he knew would be tortured no matter what the Sumatrans said.

It has came to out attention that you wish for us to leave a encampment we built, we own and are soveriegn from your nation. You wish to take all of our cash, weapons and ammunition, rendering us useless against the terrorists. You say that you will fight away the terrorists, but at what cost? Why would we give up our nation and our freedoms? If you want us to leave our encampment, you will have to make a deal. In exchange for us leaving the encampment, peacefully, turning over all aid, peacefully and not coming within 5 miles of the encampment, we want one of your states* in the area of the Dark Mark. It will house all of the remaining soldiers who will become citizens. It will also house all of our current citizens. Gregor Vidock heard that the Sumtarans did not believe the sory which was given to them about the POW's. Vidock had to think long and hard, whether to abandon the camp or stay and fight a huge army. To many the answer seemed simple, but not to Gregor Vidock. He saw a oppurtunity to overtake a country which had rule for a long time.

 

He continued to think. If the stance failed, his soldiers slaughtered(Which would be incredibly hypocritical of you) and the ones caught he knew would be tortured no matter what the Sumatrans said.
