All British military forces have been placed at Amber alert in light of the UK's recent bid to find support for a war against the Commonwealth.

A message was sent to Governor General Pegg in Maine.

Its Alfred, seems like the UK is getting ready to start a war, be ready with the payloads.

Classified Response

No problem. They're good to go. We have strategies for all eventualities. Any nuclear attacks from the UK and Ireland will glow green, well, more green.

The Pennine nuclear storage shelters were begining to fill up as the deeper chambers swelled. People pitching tents and lighting small fires to stay warm in the darkness. Military personel were still working on the bunkers themselves so hundreds of people at a time were moved to other areas whilst work continued on certain areas, and even then more people were moved as the storage shelters were filled up with vital survival supplies.

Work went on through the night, the bunkers doors never shutting and people coming and going as they pleased.

The Pennine bunkers would also house the following military formations and their equipment in the event of a WMD attack.

The Duke of Lancasters Corps
The Mercian Corps
The Guards Corps

The remaining units in England began moving towards vital areas along the borders of Scotland and Wales.

The Cadian Guards will man positions and fortifications in regiments of 8000 men in the following towns and cities;

Bristol
Hereford
Telford
Chester
Liverpool

The Venaland Guards will man positions in regiments of 8000 men in the following towns and cities;

Weston Super-mare
Stoke on Trent
Blackpool
Lancaster
Shrewsbury

The Guards Corps will man positions in regiments of 10000 men in the following towns and cities

Carlisle
Berwick upon Tweed
Newcastle
Alnwick

The 60,000 man force of Paratroopers, Royal Marines and Special Forces are to spread out across the population in plain clothes and form insurgency groups with the populaton. Weapons will be provided and hidden locations for resistance fighters.

Unmanned Aerial Fire Support Platform

The UAFSP is to be a revolutionary jet for the Royal Airforce. Being the first jet that could be unmanned or manned depending on the mission or manpower availability could turn the tide in an aerial combat situation.

Planned to have four Pratt & Whitney F119 engines, granting it the ability of supercruise at mach 2.2, it would be the fasted strategic bomber in the RAF. Its design and further research into plasma stealth technology would make it the stealthiest bomber in the fleet.

Planned to have four internal mounted long range rotary launchers for a maximum of sixteen MBDA Meteor missiles or thirty two AIM-9X short range air to air missiles aswell as four attachable none stealth mounts for 6 external weapons.

The UAFSP will also have the ability to attack ground targets, but its primary role will be air to air combat support by providing rippling missile attacks against hostile aircraft.

With the warning from the USI of possible attack the UK's military was placed on bikini black alert status.
As standard with all security changes, British territorial airspace and maritime territories were closed down with the exception of USI traffic in the Irish sea.

RAF Bulldogs and AWACS would be noticed in the air in a lot higher a frequency.

On the ground, British Lancers and Aurora bombers were in the the air armed with long range anti ship missiles and RAF Sparrows, Britains multirole jets were in the air with mixed configurations for air to air and air to ground operations. Widowmakers also took to the skies, running sorties over the Atlantic, North Sea and off the coast of Cornwall back in towards the Channel.

All land based defences were placed on stand by and the SKYNET missile defence and observation network was operating at full capacity.

and finally, Government buildings.

Observation stations along the coasts of Ireland, England and Scotland monitered USI traffic in the Irish sea and military activity. The USI's northern island which is just off the coast of Scotland became the subject of heavy scrutiny by British intel forces.

There would be no noticable change in the British militaries condition due to its presently heightened alert status.

The Scuba diver agent who was going to infiltrate Easter France was only a quarter of the way through the flooded channel tunnel when he got snagged on a piece of rebar from the shattered concrete. Unable to unsnag himself the diver panicked and made a sudden move to his right, cracking his skull against a section of unbroken tunnel wall which then knocked him out.

His oxygen had almost run out when he woke up and he was still unable to free himself. A few minutes later he drowned and the body was never recovered.
