Nobody cares.

    Jesus !@#$@#$ christ.
    Grow up, man.

Also, marriage is a dumb thing, it's a gross way to live. I'd rather spend the rest of my days viewing erotic photos on the internet and sobbing gently into my pillow at night then get married, but for those with nothing better to do, I suppose congratulations are in order.

    I

now the forum is new but just because something is newer doesn`t mean it is safer. Plus when you have a new forum put up, there is always some sort of security issue so it might seem safer, but it probably isn`t.
    , yet.

I don't mean to be too critical, but I don't think you know anything about web software. New things do usually have bugs and security issues, but normally when they are pre-release, and this particular version of IPB isn't particularly 'hot off the presses', I convinced TPF to upgrade to this particular line of IPB I want to say something like 9 or 10 months ago, I don't believe IPB has done much more then incremental version upgrades/releases since then.

Old software is more dangerous because it's not developed, and it's not patched, and the longer you wait to upgrade, the more difficult the upgrade is going to be.

  4. Well, finally moving into the modern times.

I think you need to move away from the vanilla IPB default style and do something that livens the place up a little and pays respect to the game, but at the same time not going over the top, because these forums are about the content of the posts, not about the appearance of the pages.

That said, my biggest greivence with this version of IPB, having used it somewhat previously is that lastpass won't imput my login details, and copy/pasting is time consuming and I don't actually remember them. This version has alot of nice features, however, a lot of nice touches, one of my more favorite ones is how it handles the multi-quote, amongst many other things.

If it upsets Memoryproblems it must be a good thing.

Let the [s]good[/s] goon times roll. ;)

I honestly don't care either way. I don't care about the alliances involved enough to feel upset or otherwise.

"I have an opinion. I'm not going to say what it is, I'm just going to snidely imply that I don't like you. I really have nothing of substance to say, but goddamnit I exist and I want you to notice me."
I have a great deal of substance that I could say.

I think that I have made it very clear in the past that I dislike your alliance, or rather that I disliked the alliances that merged to form your alliance, and I can honestly say the dislike has carried over, although I wouldn't characterize that dislike as "hate", or even "severe dislike" I could have been blunt and said why I dislike the alliances entering into this agreement, but subtlety is often better, and while I dislike your alliance, I honestly don't care enough for it to be in my interests to attempt to smear you.

I thought I'd be subtle, say congratulations while not being too friendly as to not give you the wrong impression that my opinion of you has changed. It is unfortunate that there exists a !@#$stain like yourself with the mentality that those who don't like you/your alliance must be told why they are an idiot. (Mission not accomplished, by the way.)

But I'll reiterate my previous comments, you need things explained multiple ways to sufficiently understand them.

While I don't like you, I don't want to say too much more, I'm happy for you and hope the treaty works well, but if it leads to both your downfalls, well, it happens. I hope that clears it up a little for you, but considering your record, my expectations are low.

I knew this was a possibility 5m ago when I read TPF's embassy on our forums. That makes me kinda cool right? I really wanna be cool for a change.

    Congrats AI and TPF!
I knew about this a month ago.
Or it could have been a few hours ago, I've got no idea, I've got no calender in here, it's impossible to tell.

Congratulations on the treaty, and what-not.

  7. I read through the entire OP, and all I could think of was,

none the less, good luck, whatever.

I'm actually surprise to see this comment from you, of all people Doomhouse gov would be the ones able to see how this plays out. IRON declares in the upper ranges and the coalition, already a bit stretched in the 50k (If I recall, offensive declarations in the 50-70k were already very thin) range prepares for the arrival of larger nations into that range.

Instead of waiting a week to sounds the GOONS or slowly bringing in a dozen alliances like Karma, we think this will be a more effective way to address a swamped tier.

I think your building it up bigger then it really is.

At the end of the day, the more force you throw at something, the more you get done. We're not talking about a situation that is particularly troublesome because the numbers just aren't adding up. The fact of the matter, the VE situation is pretty straightforward, you've got 5 alliances attacking them, three of which are uninvolved in other fronts. Not to sell VE short, but they are 192 members and 7m NS. They have 11 members over 100k NS, and an additional 11 between 80 and 100. (TPF alone has 14 over 100, and a additional 9 between 80 and 100.)

In wars, sometimes you must approach carefully and use strategy to side-step issues, in others you can use sheer force and muscle yourself to a win, and obviously in some you use both. This particular front has the outward appearance of utilizing sheer force, but you're over there talking about the strategy and all that, not that it matters, there should be no shame in doing what you need to do.

You know the NPO cannot support you on one side and TLR/GATO/NG on the other. This is why I asked you to stay out. I understand your want, but this is the wrong move. We, NPO, put out our statement. This would allow our allies to stay on a side, even if it meant staying out.

Simply put, as you already know, I am disappointed. Not because you are doing what you want, but because you are falling into a death trap that could be avoided. Directly you have caused us to have two M levels in the same conflict.
NPO making a statement does not make it ok for one of their allies to ignore the troubles of one of their allies.

And that NPO should even imply that its ok for somebody to turn their back on an ally in need is laughable. There are alot of alliances that could have turned their backs on you long ago, but didn't. I guess you don't value that.
