  1. ***SWoRD HQ- Sygh-Varthys*** The phone rings in Lady Vache's office, interrupting her meeting with President Rokossovsky. "There is a General Armstrong Lee Iron, from Crimea Iso to speak with you"-Vache "This is President Rokossovsky. How may I be of assistance, General?"-Rokossovsky ------ VNN News: *4:03am* -Military photo showing VAF destruction of MLA tunnels 40 troops of the Vaule military backed by artillery and attack helicopters launched a combined ground-air assault north of Ulan-Ude. An intense bombardment of the area occurred for approximately half an hour as Vaulian troops attacked suspected MLA strongholds. The military has confirmed that 13 suspected MLA fighters were killed in the attack. Hospital sources in Ulan-Ude have reported 4 civilian casualties in the area, believed to be linked to the offensive however the Vaule military has so far refused to comment. In the assault, an abandoned warehouse and a network of tunnels used by the MLA were destroyed. An MLA message sent by tape to VNN studios confirms the loss of 13 fighters: -MLA Flag “Once again the government of Vaule seeks to forcibly extend their control to the Outer Mongolian Region. We may have lost the battle in Ulan Ude, however rest assured that we will respond. Until Outer Mongolia is free, there will be no peace. We shall avenge our thirteen comrades” In line with the President’s pledge, the troops that led the offensive withdrew by helicopter to an undisclosed location outside of Outer Mongolia after the offensive was completed. The attack ended as quickly as it began, with forces completely withdrawn before sunrise. General Bartnev of the Vaulian Army released a short statement to VNN: “Most military operations to be staged in the Outer Mongolian Region shall be similar to the operation conducted last night: A quick, surgical strike on MLA stockpiles and positions. We do not intend to have our troops in the region for a prolonged period, as with the last conflict, however we will not hesitate to attack both MLA and MVM infrastructure.” As if to back up the General's statement, a squadron of MiG 29Vs, and additional Mi-24s and 2 Mi-28Ds arrived at the South Faron Military base near the border. The military has not confirmed any of these deployments, however sources near the base have reported a marked increase in activity.
  2. In his first speech regarding the buildup of forces near the province-border of Outer Mongolia, President Rokossovsky sought to outline the major aims of the operation, and to reassure citizens that the military will only act when necessary. “As everyone now realizes it is not business as usual in the Outer Mongolian Buryat Autonomous Region. While we honored our side of the agreement, the Provincial Authority led by Regional President Li was either unable or unwilling to keep all of their side of the bargain. As the central government has said repeatedly, the region will not be stable while there are two heavily armed militias in opposition to each other. We are also concerned that any conflict in the region could have a major impact on Vaule as a whole. In the interest of stabilizing the region, I have dispatched the CSF to the border. As stated previously, I have given a window of opportunity for both the MVM and the MLA militias to completely disarm and join the political process. For most citizens the reallocation act will have minimal impact on your daily lives. As for the forces on the border between Faron and Outer Mongolia, they will only launch pinpoint operations into Outer Mongolia to target the MVM and MLA militia once the deadline has past. I know that most citizens living in the region wish to express their choices through the ballot rather than by the gun. As such, I will not permit those citizens to be held hostage by armed rebel groups.”
  3. Vaule takes issue with Article 2 of the proposed agreement. It has been Vaule's policy thus far, that no other nation (even RUSSIAN pact members) will be permitted any form of access to our missile facilities in whole or any part thereof. We have no intention of changing this policy. While we are more than willing to agree to all of the other terms (including Article 1), our position on Article 2 is as stated above.
  4. -The Imperial Standard Sygh-Varthys, Vaule: VNN News: Throughout Vaule's history, the national anthem has changed many times to reflect the nation's structure. Today, the Imperatrix approved a measure changing Vaule's national anthem once again. The previous anthem 'Vaule is not yet lost' is being replaced by the anthem of the former Vaule Empire, 'Eternal Vaulian Fatherland'. The Vaule National Flag will soon be modified to reflect the inclusion of South Novaya Zemlya as a part of Vaule. -Imperatrix Marimeya after signing the decree ***VNN News Credits***
  5. President Rokossovsky has signed the “Temporary Re-allocation of Powers Act” which primarily affects the Outer Mongolian-Buryat Autonomous Region of Vaule. The President has severely criticized regional leader President Li, for failing to take concrete steps toward disarming the Mongolian Liberation Army or the Movement for a Vaulian (Outer) Mongolia as was stipulated under the last peace accord. The Act also declares that the previously negotiated agreement is now ‘null and void due to the Outer Mongolian Provisional Authority failing to fulfill a number of the terms in the contract’. VNN News was able to gain access to a copy of the Temporary Re-allocation Act (TRA) from the President’s Chief of Staff. Our reporters near the Faron-Outer Mongolia border have reported a noticeable buildup of military forces at the South Faron Military Base, fueling speculation that the military will soon be launching an offensive. There are also reports that 3,000 soldiers have been called up to form the military arm of the CSF. In a stunning reversal of his previous attacks on the President, Nationalist Leader Dmitri Ivanov has voiced strong support for the President’s stronger stance on Outer Mongolia. -Military column approaching the South Faron Military Base -Aerial view of the base with the Special Force flag in place of the Vaulian one
  6. VNN Breaking News: Just moments ago, Vaule President Rokossovsky invoked Article 20, and suspended Vaule's Parliament. A spokesman from the Office of the President confirmed that the decision was taken after a series of meetings with the Cabinet in Sygh-Varthys. The spokesman also gave us the following statement: "The decision to suspend Vaule's Parliament under Article 20 of the constitution was not taken lightly. After our own investigation we determined that the majority of the charges leveled against the President are entirely baseless and politically motivated. When our legal team requested access to the purported evidence, we were denied. And after taking the necessary legal steps, we determined that for 90% of the charges there was no evidence whatsoever. The remaining charges are minor, and related to the conflict in the Outer Mongolia-Buryat Autonomous Region. The President has committed that he will go before Parliament to defend himself against the remaining charges, however he maintains that it is first necessary to determine if the Parliament still has the backing of the people of Vaule." The Office of the Imperatrix was notified of the President's decision just minutes ago. It appears that President Rokossovsky will use the 14 day suspension period of the Parliament, to dissolve the Legislature and hold a legislative branch election. We now go live to the Parliament building: ***Parliament*** Reporter: "Parliament was still in session up until the notification of Article 20 arrived. Some MPs angrily condemned the President for 'undermining democracy' while others refused to leave the building. In minutes, armed soldiers surrounded the Parliament building and forcibly evicted the Chamber's occupants. As MPs resisted, minor scuffles broke out in the Parliament. The military has announced that they will have the building empty and sealed in less than 15 minutes." -Fight in Parliament
  7. All over the country special units were moving into action against the government. Various paramilitary units gathered their weaponry and surrounded nearby military bases. With lightning precision, the units staged simultaneous attacks on five military bases in Western Vaule. With the troops in the west caught by surprise and lack of preparation, they were soon forced to surrender to their numerically superior enemies. The soldiers could only watch as the rebels looted their equipment. Everything from tanks, to missiles and attack helicopters were seized. ***Presidential Palace, 6:57 am*** A Presidential aide hurried into the Presidential Office. “Your Excellency! Reports are coming in of attacks on three bases to the north-east. General Vladimir has reported that the rebels have taken two of the bases, and combat is ongoing at the third.”-Aide President Khudorozkina jumped to his feet, and shook the aide violently: “Who?! Who is responsible for this?”-Khudorozkina “We don’t know sir. They have raised this flag at the two bases they captured”-Aide As the aide held out a photograph, the President saw that it was indeed the Communist flag with the crest cut out. “Crush this rebellion immediately!”-Khudorozkina “How sir ?”-Aide “Turn out the army, the secret police and the reserve forces! Order them to retake those bases by any means necessary. And as for the people… in each of the towns surrounding the three bases, execute 50 people as a symbol for what happens when you permit bourgeoisie elements to corrupt and attack society!”-Khudorozkina The aide rushed from the President’s office to relay his orders to the troops. ***Outside Sygh-Varthys*** A group of ten armed rebels moved silently among the early morning traffic moving closer and closer to the Presidential palace.
  8. ***Proposed agreement*** Estovakia leases the Rossiskaya corridor from Vaule for V$400,000 per year. While this agreement is active, the land will effectively be considered to belong to Estovakia (with the exception that they may not sell it or transfer it to a third party). The agreement will be continually active as long as both parties approve. Should the agreement be cancelled, then the land returns to Vaulian control as a part of the Vaulian protectorate (or any state which has been established in said protectorate)
  9. Vaule's Parliament approves the Outline for the governance of South Novaya Zemlya With South Novaya Zemlya transferred from Rossiskaya to Vaule, the Vaulian Parliament approved a measure to lift the North-south border and reunite Novaya Zemlya into a single political entity. Under the act, Rossiskayans living in the South Novaya Zemlya will have the option of acquiring Vaulian citizenship. As South Novaya Zemlya and North Novaya Zemlya have been merged into the Vaulian Region of Novaya Zemlya, the government also needed to amend Vaule's territorial waters. -New Map of Vaulian territorial waters Key: Dark Green- Vaule Direct Territorial Waters (Restricted to all non-Vaulian military ships Light Green- Open to all civilian ships, and only RUSSIAN military vessels. All other military vessels must request permission prior to entering the zone. As an additional clause to the act involved a provision to explore the possibility of leasing the "Rossiskaya Corridor" to Estovakia to give them access to the Northern sea. -Map showing Rossiskaya Corridor in red
  10. I thought that we already had two channels: #cnrp for OOC related stuff, and #cnrpic for strictly IC related stuff, as indicated in the OP for the guidelines thread?
  11. VNN Breaking News: Ulan-Ude, Outer Mongolia: While investigating the recent explosion outside Ulan-Ude, the VNN news team captured a second attack on camera. Our team managed to take photos of what appeared to be a Mi-24 attack helicopter bombing another building on the outskirts of the town. -Picture of Mi-24 As our news team hurried to the scene we found, once again another destroyed building. We waited there until the local ambulance crew arrived on the scene. After clearing away some of the rubble, the medical teams found 4 people amongst the remains of the building. Regional President Li has been given the VNN pictures and has called on the President of Vaule to explain why Outer Mongolia is under attack after the peace treaty was signed less than a year ago. President Li has also announced his intention to make a presentation regarding the incidents to the President’s Impeachment hearings in Sygh-Varthys. Regional President Li also suggested, in a press conference before he departed for Sygh-Varths, that: “Should we find solid proof that the peace accord was deliberately violated by the Government of Vaule then the Outer Mongolian Provisional authority will have no reason to continue to uphold our end of the agreement.” The new Khambo Llama broke his silence on the issue with a short statement: “Should it be true that the agreement has been violated by either side, I do not approve of the use of any form of violence by any side. Perhaps there needs to be some form of neutral mediation by a third party. The key here is compromise. Both sides need to understand that they will not get everything that they desire from the negotiation process.”
  12. VNN News: Vaule Parliament attempts to remove the President After weeks of closed door inter party discussion, the leader of the Vaule Nationalist Party has tabled Resolution 1683: Motion of no confidence in the government of the VSP, and Resolution 1684: Motion to begin Impeachment proceedings against the President of Vaule. We now go to Parliament for further details: ***Inside the Parliament*** Ivanov: “Mr. Speaker, the Nationalist Party moves for debate on Resolutions 1683 and 1684 immediately” Speaker: “Opposition Nationalist Party, 5 minutes” Ivanov:” We state that the President of Vaule has, on numerous occasions, taken actions that we consider to be outside of the constitutional authority of the Office of the President of Vaule. As required by the Constitution we present the following charges against the President: -Knowingly circumventing the duly elected Parliament (3 counts) -Exceeding the authority of the Office of President (2 counts) -Obstructing or Impeding the Parliament from discharging its Constitutional duties -Signing agreements to change entrenched aspects of the Vaulian Constitution without Parliamentary approval (1 count) -Unauthorized release of a government document (2 counts) -Conduct unbecoming of a President (1 count) We resolve that there are grounds for Impeachment proceedings against President Rokossovsky, and for a no-confidence vote in the Socialist Party Government.” Speaker: “Rebuttal, Socialist Party 5 minutes” Lt. Kharkov: “Mr. Speaker, the charges being leveled against the government and the President of Vaule are motivated purely by politics and not by fact or evidence. I urge the Parliament to see this sham for what it is, and not to permit Mr. Ivanov and the Nationalist bloc to waste the Parliament’s valuable time in his attempts to remove the elected government. Thank you.” Speaker:”The Parliament is asked to vote on the following motion: Motion to proceed with Resolution 1864 to begin impeachment procedures. Members may begin voting now.” ***10 minutes later*** Speaker: “The votes are as follows: Aye: 293 Nay: 260 Abstain: 43 The motion is carried” ***VNN Studio*** It appears that the Nationalist Party has been able to gain the necessary votes to proceed with Impeachment proceedings against President Rokossovsky. Although it is unclear if Mr. Ivanov will be able to get the required 2/3 of the Parliament to Impeach President Rokossovsky, it is clear that there is dissent in the President’s own party. While the Nationalists, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party voted overwhelmingly for the motion, three Socialist Party MPs abstained while 5 Socialist Party MPs voted for the motion. If the Nationalists can exploit the split in the Socialist Party, it is possible that they will be able to reduce the influence of the Socialist Party’s 270 members. Some political analysts have suggested that the Resolution 1683, which would jeopardize the Socialist Party government, is being used by the Nationalists in order to get some of the Socialist MPs to abandon the President in exchange for withdrawing the measure. Political Analyst Mikhail Putin said the following: “It is clear what is being done here. Ivanov has put the two resolutions on the table in order to increase the fracture that exists between the President and his party. I would not be surprised if Mr. Ivanov withdraws the no-confidence measure if the Socialists agree to give Rokossovsky the boot. On the reverse side, it is possible that the Nationalists are hoping that the President will invoke Article 10 and suspend the Parliament, thus alienating the Socialists, who afterward would be much happier to support an Impeachment.” While we at VNN may only speculate at this time, one thing is for certain. Impeachment proceedings will begin tomorrow afternoon, unless the President suspends Parliament. “This is Nadya Simonova reporting, for VNN news” ***news credits***
  13. As stated, RUSSIAN & UFE are prepared to hold a meeting with the representatives of the Uyghur Khaganate to discuss both the reasons for the sanctions and the conditions under which they will be adjusted or revised. Should the Khaganate wish to hold such a meeting they may contact any of the signatories of this agreement. That is all.
  14. As we now have a majority yes vote from all present, and those who have not voted have indicated their willingness by signing the agreement (except for Crimea Iso), we will proceed to announce the sanctions against the Uyghur Khaganate. ***Sanctions announced*** http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=47440
  15. OOC: I'll be waiting for the necessary majority vote. Waiting for majority of members present.
  16. ***Sygh-Varthys, Vaule*** An aide hurries into President Khudorozkina’s office. “Your Excellency, turn on the television sir”-Aide. As soon as the President complies, he sees what could only be described as an unauthorized broadcast. On the screen, in front of a flag with the Communist Logo torn off, is a man in a hood and cloak. Too transfixed to move the President could only stare blankly at the screen as the cloaked figure began to speak. “Good evening citizens of Vaule, As we are all aware, this criminal government of ours has gone much too far. The President’s destruction of an ancient Cathedral that served as the center for Vaulian Orthodox Christianity, as well as his so called “Self-sufficiency” programs have been grave crimes against the Vaulian people. Government propaganda maintains that the self-sufficiency measures have resulted in massive increases in food production, yet more than half of the rural population lives on less than a meal per day, and others are simply starving to death. We can no longer sit by and allow this madness to continue. Should President Khudorozkina not resign in 48 hours, then there will be grave consequences. We shall be ready to ensure that Vaule’s destiny lies in the hands of her people once more. We are the Vaule Liberation Army!” Vaule’s pre-communist era anthem began as a Resistance Flag (with the Communist Logo cut out) was hoisted up a flagpole. -Resistance Flag (with communist logo torn out) As the message ended, President Khudorozkina recovered from his earlier shock and ordered the aide to carry a statement to the State news agency: “What you have just seen, is the act of a lone terrorist who wishes to undermine the path of the Great Revolution using lies and deceit. We will not permit this terrorist to act against the government or the party, as this would be an attack on the people of Vaule. Effective immediately, any citizen of Vaule who displays this so-called ‘resistance banner’ or who defaces the honorable flag of the working class, shall be considered in league with this terrorist, and will be treated accordingly. Those who permitted this message of terror to be broadcasted shall be executed for treason. Although some of these measures seem harsh, they are necessary as the revolution must continue unobstructed. In the course of the path to true socialism it is sometimes necessary to get one’s hands bloody. Signed, His Excellency President Khudorozkina, Savior of Vaule, Great Guide of the Grand Vaulian Socialist Revolution, Great Comrade General, Order of Lenin, Order of Vaule, Order of Socialism” As the aide hurried to deliver the message, President Khudorozkina ordered the secret police to increase their alert level. ***Arcannez province, Vaule*** The cloaked figure picked up a cellular phone and made a call to a nearby Take-out restaurant. As the phone was answered, the man simply replied: “The duck has been plucked, light the deep-fryer” …then he hung up the phone before the person on the other end could respond. ***Take-out restaurant*** “…The duck has been plucked, light the deep-fryer” *click* A man in his mid 30s held the receiver. After hearing the message he dropped the phone, and ran into the back room of the restaurant. In the room three ‘waiters’ and a ‘waitress’ were playing cards on an old crate. As the man entered, they glanced toward him: “It is time.”-Man The waitress put down the cards and moved to the nearby kitchen counter. With a crowbar, she pried open a small compartment to reveal six disassembled AK-47s, 8 grenades, 5 radios, 4 bullet-proof vests and 10 packages labeled ‘C4’. As the waiters assembled the weapons, the old man closed the restaurant. The waitress, who now stood armed to the teeth with AK47 in hand walked towards the freezer and opened a hidden compartment....
  17. VNN Update: Hospital sources in Ulan-Ude have now confirmed that 10 people were killed at the site of the destroyed building, however the regional hospitals have not yet announced what caused the deaths. Despite numerous calls to the President of Vaule, his Office would only repeat what the President announced previously. General Bartnev of the Vaule Army has announced that he is "100% sure that no Vaulian military or Imperial Guard unit set foot in Outer Mongolia, or entered the airspace over the region." General Bartnev also said in his statement that the allegations of an attack by a VAF Mi 24 were virtually impossible as the VAF had grounded the remainder of its Mi 24 fleet in preparation for the transition to Mi-28s. The General also suggested that there were no operational VAF Mi-24s within any province near Outer Mongolia at the time the incident reportedly occurred. While Regional President Li has presented a petition to launch a government level investigation into the matter, neither the President nor the Parliament have shown any willingness to proceed with such a high level investigation. Police Investigators in Outer Mongolia, however, will continue their investigation into the incident and are scheduled to prepare a report shortly. Further information will be announced as soon as we receive it.
  18. VNN News: Ulan-Ude, Outer Mongolian Buryat Autonomous Region: It appears that the peace accord signed between the Vaulian Central Government and the Outer Mongolian Provincial Authority is now teetering over a precipice. Tensions between Sygh-Varthys and Novaya Ulanbataar have once again reached an all time high. Despite a peace agreement which permitted the province to use their own National Guard troops and which barred Sygh-Varthys from sending soldiers of the Vaulian military into the region without notifying the regional government in Novaya Ulanbataar, citizens of a small town outside Ulan-Ude reported seeing a military Mi 24 attack helicopter early this morning. One eyewitness reported seeing the helicopter head south and attack a building just outside of town. Our news crew on the scene has confirmed that a large building has been destroyed; however it is not possible at this time to determine the cause of the destruction. There are also unconfirmed reports of 5 civilian casualties who were allegedly killed by falling rubble. When we contacted the Office of the President, he denied that the Vaulian Military had carried out any attack in Outer Mongolia. President Rokossovsky has reiterated his dedication to the peace agreement and the stability of the region, while the Imperatrix has called the events ‘unfortunate, and deeply troubling’. Regional President Li has claimed that the alleged attack helicopter was reported to have headed towards East Faron province shortly after the incident took place. Regional President Li also expressed his concern that the action, if it was authorized by the government in Sygh-Varthys, would jeopardize the Peace Agreements. VNN will continue to monitor the situation, and will post updates as soon as we receive them.
  19. As it appears that the Estovakia situation is being resolved, I call a vote on the final motion: To announce the sanctions against the Uyghur Khaganate, and couple it with an opportunity for a meeting at some point in the future. Current Votes: Aye: 2 Nay:0 Abstain:0
  20. ***An undisclosed location in North Arcannez*** A secret gathering was called among the small groups of Khudorozkina resistance leaders. Since Khudorozkina’s rise in the 1980s, these different factions had been competing to be the official resistance force. The numerous factions ended up fighting each other more than they fought Khudorozkina’s forces. Once the fourth resistance leader entered the warehouse and took his seat, a man in a hood and cloak emerged from the shadows. “Gentlemen, I have called you here to discuss a new plan to confront our mutual enemy. Your attempts so far have had minimal success, and your glaring lack of leadership has no doubt let many opportunities slip by. The cause we fight for is much greater than your own individual quest for power.”-???? One of the four men seated at the table rose: “And who sir might you be to question our tactical skills”-Leader #1 The man in the cloak cracked a smile and replied: “Are these the same tactical skills that led all four of the leaders of the main opposition to an abandoned warehouse? Do you realize, that if it was my wish to destroy you and end organized Vaulian resistance, I could have easily done so.”-??? The cloaked man began to pace around the room and continued his speech: “If you are wondering why this plan will be different than the previous ones, the answer is simple. This time we act with the backing of a higher authority”-??? Puzzled, one of the leaders asked:”God?” “Not exactly. This time we will act with the blessing of the Imperial Family of Vaule.” After the surprised gasps died down, the cloaked figure produced the Imperial Seal and placed it on the table. Three of the resistance leaders immediately announced their support of the proposed new movement, while the fourth remained silent. “I take it that we are all in agreement then?”-???? The fourth leader jumped to his feet and drew a pistol he had hidden in his jacket. He quickly aimed the pistol at the cloaked man and replied: “If I possessed the Imperial Seal, then there would be no doubt that I would be able to lead this resistance movement”-Leader #4 Unfazed by the pistol, the cloaked figure simply replied: “It would not be in your best interest to do that.” As the man chuckled, the cloaked figure drew a sword and in two swift motions, hit the pistol from the man’s hand and placed the sword at his adversary’s neck. As those gathered held their breaths, waiting for what would happen next, the cloaked figure simply announced: “When the time comes to begin, I will contact you. Until then, stay out of sight” The cloaked figure threw his sword on the table and walked out of the room.
  21. OOC: Quick reminder, this all happened in 1991. I'm simply telling the story of how Vaule's democratic revolution started, how the Imperator was restored, and where the Royal family were at the time.
  22. The Great Vaulian Revolution June 1991: Sygh-Varthys -President-for-life Mikhail Khudorozkina In the main square of the capital throngs of people moved slowly and uncertainly toward the Presidential Palace, watched closely by guards and secret police lurking among them. The throngs slowly merged into a single crowd as the Presidential palace came into view. What was once a shining beacon of Vaulian Orthodoxy and Imperial might was now defaced with Communist logos and pictures of Mikhail Khudorozkina, the self-proclaimed “savior” of the people of Vaule. On the balcony facing the square was a large communist banner and podium for the President to speak to the masses. As the clock tolled 7:00pm and the sun set behind the Imperial Cathedral, President Khudorozkina stepped onto the balcony and waved to the crowd as he prepared to deliver his speech. Once the applause died down, there were feint cries of “Long live President Khudorozkina” from party loyalists in the crowd, while others glared at them with utter disgust. Sensing this as his cue, Khudorozkina began to speak: “People of Vaule! We have arrived at the next stage of our great Socialist Revolution. Under my wise leadership the output from our communal farms has increased by nearly 73%. It is now time to move to phase two. No longer shall we be held to ransom by the bourgeois nations around us! Vaule will be truly self-sufficient. We shall be reliant upon them no longer! From this day forward, we will produce all the food we need here in Vaule. All agricultural products shall be produced here in Vaule. Let us set an example for the entire world here today! Long live Vaule! Long live the Great Revolution!” While some people cheered, one man could not contain his anger and began to shout: “Down with the Government! Death to Khudorozkina!” With ruthless mechanical precision, a nearby sniper shot the man with pinpoint accuracy. Despite the disturbance, Khudorozkina continued: “We must free ourselves from the shackles of religion, and create a new dawn.” Large floodlights illuminated the Imperial Cathedral in the distance, drawing the attention of the crowd. “Look at the Cathedral. It is a symbol of this false religion.” Two armed guards brought the Patriarch of the Vaule Orthodox Church Father Markov onto the balcony. The President continued. “Look at the symbol of this false religion!” Suddenly the entire Imperial Cathedral exploded in a massive fireball. As shocked gasps echoed throughout the square, the Cathedral collapsed into a massive pile of rubble. President Khudorozkina laughed then shouted into the microphone: “Religion, like this building, shall be made to collapse under the weight of our great revolution!” Some members of the crowd began shouting anti-government slogans and throwing rocks at the secret police. The President looked at the scuffles breaking out in the square below and muttered (forgetting that the microphone was still on): “Ungrateful cretins” On the balcony, a deputy turned to the President and asked: “What shall we do sir?” The President replied: “There is no room for those against the Revolution! Zahbyte laghatma! (Vaulian: Kill them all!)” Seconds later the shouts in the square were drowned out by the sounds of machine gun fire. Father Markov said in a calm voice: “Khudorozkina, you will answer to your crimes before God!” The President replied: “You first” Then shot the Patriarch with his pistol. As the chaos unfolded in the square below, television cameras captured the scenes in vivid detail. At the headquarters of VNN, the chief of the TV station decided to defy the government censors and continue to broadcast the events from the capital on like TV...
  23. We are agreed upon the sanctions. Motion to announce the sanctions along with a request to resolve the situation with the Uyghur Khaganate. Final issue on the agenda: We consider this to be an extremely serious matter. Could the UFE provide us with more information on what occurred (OOC: Like a link to the thread where this all happened) so that we may investigate and take the appropriate action.
  24. We ask that members wait until the sanctions are announced before implementing them
