  1. PM my nation here: http://www.cybernations.net/send_message.a...ation_ID=173482
  2. Why would someone not want to embrace and release the passion within their own soul?
  3. Contact me here or in game at http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...ation_ID=173482
  4. It's not a suggestion, its a discussion on an aspect of the game. I want to know what other's opinions on this are.
  5. Nuclear warheads: CN's loveliest play toy NUCLEAR warheads, the most destructive weapons in the game (2nd most destructive if your including NPO's Jackboots(IC)), have been undermined by the Nation Strength equation. These city destroying devices are only calculated at 50NS each. Equated the same in NS as only 10 levels of technology, nukes can destroy up to 50 tech in addition to 150 infrastructure, land, and all soldiers (not to mention nuclear anarchy). Pushing the red button results in more than 1000 NS worth of damage, 20 times the NS of the cause of that distruction. Further examples of the underrated value of the Nuclear Weapon include: Level 9 airplanes are worth 45 NS each, only 5 points below our beloved bombs. An air force of 80 planes is worth almost three times as much as a complete nuclear stockpile For the $500,000 you spent on your first nuke you could buy: 10 level 9 aircraft- worth 450NS, 9 times the NS of one nuke 62,500 soldiers- worth 6,250NS, over 1000 times the NS of one nuke Almost 3000 tanks- almost 3000NS, over 50 times the NS of one nuke 25 tech at a friendly rate for over twice the NS of one nuke You could even buy enough cruise missiles to last a short war But don't forget, the price only goes up after you buy number one Also, those of you that thought nukes were relevant to an alliance's score think again; they are only worth their 50 NS that they add to an alliance's total nation strength, making them about 0.00016 each. Even 1000 nukes only add up to 0.16 points. A nation with 25 nukes: an over 50 million dollar investment and almost a month worth of development, only has 1250 NS more than another nation without nukes that is completely identical in every other aspect. Should the NS of Nuclear weapons be increased?
  6. You will not survive on Planet Bob if you actually do stay.

  7. I've been swapping since I had 1500 infrastructure. I put up the camps and did a donation deal, back collecting for 15 days on the 1000+ infrastructure I bought. Swap+aid is very profitable for small nations and can quickly get them into the cycle without having to save up money before hand
  8. Thanks for that tip, it will be put to good use.
  9. Having uranium as one of your nation's resources means you do not incur the -1 happiness penalty.
  10. I believe your full land size is used in the calculation when you battle another nation. One of the important effects of the modifiers Kevin must consider is that they increase the land area by the amount of purchased land determines the land bonus. In war, when land is captured, the amount purchased goes down, causing the bonus land size to go down as well. The attacking nation can never actually capture the bonus land. eg: I have 1200 total land and 200 of it is the land bonus- to bring my land down to zero one only needs to destroy 1000 miles of land. Also, if you have the equation for the land population bonus PLEASE share it with me.
  11. Thanks for the constant updates.
  12. Horde, for reference NS is basically the only part of the score calculation: each nation is currently worth a score of 0.0107 every chunk 3000 NS is worth exactly 0.01 Those are the only considerations in the equation and, as you can see, a 3000 NS Nation is worth 2 times the score of a new nation, a 30000 11 times. The math simplified: divide NS by 3000 them multiply by .01 and add an extra .01 (or .0107 if your that picky) for the lulzs and you have the score of your nation. Nukes themselves are simply worth the 50 NS they add to your nation. Many over estimate their score value and this irks me. For reference 5000 nukes are worth a sad .83 in score. (I lol'ed at those who thought GPA could recover #1 by maxing nukes) I hope this is useful to anyone wondering how score works.
