1.
The Lord President and the Lady Chancellor grew impatient for the begining of the forum as other things need the attention of the two Gallifreyan leaders. OOC:when is this starting.
OOC: Slow your roll, the forums don't run on your schedule.
OOC: Sorry for posting OOC but is it too late to get in on this?
OOC: Not at all, feel free just to say your person is there and that you haven't missed anything.
 2. The Empire is glad to see a stable government of the people of Cuba rise to take stewardship of their lands. All military equipment will be withdrawn to Guantanamo Bay or off the island within two months. As for Texas, taking veiled diplomatic shots across our bow will win you no favors. We have granted these people the freedom to choose their own path, and they have done so. The fact that we protected them from outside aggression was merely keeping a promise. The fact that you say you are glad they are "finally out of our control and in a state of independence" only shows your ignorance of the matter, and such comments will keep the Americas from functioning as a cohesive unit like they once were.
 3.
We specifically said we do not support Australia's actions, and perhaps Pravus Ingruo should just wait for the African countries to move first before bandwagoning.
You may want to check the definition of bandwagoning. Leading a charge, or starting a charge, is in no way bandwagoning.
 4.
Unlike you, we have a direct interest in arresting the genocidal terrorists who killed five million of our people in the past. This has specific support from the African countries themselves. Now, perhaps you should clean your eyes and get that blindness out.
So you're saying Australia has the support of the Oceanic nations in attacking another nation purely for !@#$% and giggles? Interesting. Arctica has done nothing to warrant such a blatant aggressive act, and we will move to defend them if they are attacked.
 5.
In other words, Pravus Ingruo is using a self-defined standard in dealing with affairs out of its jurisdiction. Very well, we shall keep that in mind should we ever find the occasion to do something in North America. Grand Papua does not support this exporting of the revolution through purely violent means. However, we shall defend Australia if it is attacked within the sphere of Oceania. Our obligations do not extend to offensive actions, and as such we shall not interfere in this African affair except through diplomacy.
In other words, we are doing exactly what you have already done in Africa. Before you judge us, you may want to look into a mirror. Hypocrite.
 6.
Grand Papua finds it strange that Pravus Ingruo is threatening Australia. Does Pravus Ingruo have any interest in the region or the government of Arctica?
We have known Arctica ever since the first incarnation of Pravus Ingruo. While a formal treaty has never existed between our nations, we have always held friendly relations with them and seen them as a stabilizing power in the southern part of Africa, a continent that we may add can often be exceptionally volatile. The fact that Australia is looking to attack Arctica without any apparent provocation, other than they are capitalist, strikes us as downright wrong. We are a free nation, free to act, I may add, to right wrongs we see in the world. Such an attack, without reason, would be one of those wrongs.
 7. The Empire of Pravus Ingruo demands an explanation as to why Arctica, of all nations, is being attacked by Australia. They are hardly imperialistic, certainly not antagonistic, and have done nothing, in our eyes, to warrant such an attack. We demand an immediate explanation of these actions by Australia, or serious repercussions could follow.
 8. I have to say I agree with Kankou on this one, along with her suggestion concerning the Foreign Air Base wonder and the 10,000 limit for any over that.
 9. Ishabad, if you post a comment on my profile again or message me again, I will report you for harassment. Cut it out.

 10. OOC: Pictures for reference so you all know who you are dealing with. Potentate Jacob Harland (will arrive later) Vizier Leonard L. Church, Dr. Secretary of Foreign Affairs Xavier Solomon
He would arrive at a nearby airport one of California's Boeing 767s for state use. From there himself and his light security detail would be escorted by Pravus Ingruo security to the old UN building to where he would meet the multitude of nations that were set to arrive. O'Malley would be certain to run into nearly every delegate here, including the hosts. "Greetings Vizier Church and Secretary Soloman. The name is Kevin O'Malley and I represent the Californian Republic. I thank you on the behalf of California to host such a momentous meeting. New York City is a city that cannot be told justly in textbooks." O'Malley said in a slight Irish accent. At the same time to keep paying attention to whom he was talking to, he was scanning for some refreshments.
Both the Vizier and Secretary shook O'Malley's hand. "I had a rough go of it with someone named O'Malley once," said Church, with a slight chuckle and more than a hint of a Texas drawl. "!@#$%^& tried to steal my girlfriend... not that I'll hold that against you. Enjoy your stay."
He finally took his seat and simply said "John Smith and Amy Pond in for Gallifrey thank you for being such gracious hosts thus far in this beautiful city New York." With that they sat back and awaited the meetings start.
"The pleasure is all ours, I assure you," said Secretary Solomon, with a clipped diction perfected by many years in the diplomatic corps, yet still somehow smooth to the ear. "With so many new nation popping up, they have better things to worry about than hosting conferences. We, luckily, already have the infrastructure in place."
Erdstrom spotted from a photograph the Secretary of Foreign Affairs for the Empire and Vizier Church and sought them out. “Your Excellencies,” he said with his soft, but nevertheless distinctly German accent, “it is a pleasure to meet you; I am Henrik, the Duke of Erdstrom, and have arrived with my delegation. We very much hope it will be a very productive gathering for the interests of all involved.”
The Vizier opened his mouth to say something, and Solomon noticed a glint in his eye and delivered a sharp elbow to his side. Church's mouth shut and a gracious nod followed. Solomon smiled and shook the man's hand. "I'm sure, by the end of the day, something will be accomplished by this conference." Once the man and his delegation were well out of ear shot, Church turned to Solomon. "So what'd you elbow me for? Who was that guy?" Solomon merely rolled his eyes. "Just the delegation of the guys we kicked out of Cuba. Like you didn't know. Ass."
 11. OOC: Topic here.
 12. It was ironic, really. The Empire would be hosting such a forum for the nations of America, as undisputably the oldest nation in both continents. The location itself was also ironic. Ever since the fall of the old United Nations, the UN Building in New York had sat unused, but maintained, waiting for the day another gathering of nations looking to make the world a better place would grace her halls. That day would come today. Vizier Leonard L. Church would preside over the meeting as mediator, while Secretary of Foreign Affairs Xavier Solomon would be the Empire's official representative to the meeting. The Potentate wasn't sure what to expect out of the meeting, though he would make a short speech once everyone had arrived before ducking out. The Empire felt their standing in the Americas would be improved, regardless of the outcome of the meeting, simply for hosting it. Security measures would be of the utmost importance, as with any event where this many world dignitaries were gathering. Standard scans for weapons, chemical, biological, and nuclear agents were in place. Any security that the dignitaries brought with them would be asked to stay in an ajoining room. Imperial security forces would cover security inside the main meeting room, for the building itself, and outside. A no-fly zone was established around the old UN building, along with a naval quarentine. No weapons would be allowed in the main meeting room itself, and any private security personel would only be allowed to keep a single personal sidearm in the adjoining room.
 13. The Empire of Pravus Ingruo applauds the action taken by some of their former citizens. An American forum would be a good way for all new nations to at least get together and meet, whether or not any policy matters were discussed or decided upon. Further to the point, the Empire offers New York as a host city for such a forum. It has a long history of hosting the most prestigious of events. Accommodations and security will not be a problem.
 14. No offense, but the mods rulings were never overturned, unless you can find me a post from the mods that say so. The mod rulings are a higher law even than what the GMs dsay. So, sorry, I think you're wrong on this one.
 15.
Forgot to post this on here the other day, but the United Virginian Socialist Republic's taken...well, the Virginia territories. Linky
Was just about to post this myself. Approved.
 16.
The main problem I see in this? The fact that PI asked the lands to be labeled "Free land for new nations", which basically seems to say there would be no interference. It's like saying something is free while you've attached a condition in fine print which is on some separate document. I say we change the label to something more accurate like say, "PI administration [New nations]".
To me that adds unnecessary text to an already loaded map, but that's my personal opinion. If Lynneth chooses to do so, I will not complain. The point is, there is no room to !@#$%*. Previous RP justifies my actions, and I'm not going to allow people to slam me simply because I am following through with my RP, especially because it is only through my own generosity that such an amount of prime real estate was opened up in the first place.
 17. I've decided to respond here out of respect for Lynneth in keeping the map thread for map matters, not your personal !@#$%*ing grounds. A few players have decided to publicly attack me without knowledge of the facts. Therefore, they will be corrected. First, the post in question that I will be referring to: Linky Specific Quote:
"During The past few days, I have spoken with The governors of every state in The Empire, and every protectorate. I told them they had a choice. they could remain with our new Empire, or they could continue their way of self-sufficiency until a new government rose from within. Every state, except New York, has chosen The route of self-sufficiency. We wish them nothing but The best, and will always consider them sisters and brothers. I ask that The nations of The world respect their right to self-sovereignty, and to allow new governments to spring from their lands. The governors have indicated that they do not wish to join any current government in The world. Again, I ask that The nations of The world respect that decision. If you do not, we will defend our brother's and sister's right to choose their own path, from The barrel of a gun if necessary." "As of today, The borders of The Empire of Pravus Ingruo are as follows: The state of New York, IMB: Ireland in Scotland, IMB: CP off The coast of Canada, and Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. We will hold protectorate status over The states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont. The rest of The governors are free to go. Defense There will be provided by their own National Guard soldiers and local police. All Imperial military equipment will be withdrawn within three months. The new capital of The Empire will be relocated here, to Syracuse. More changes will obviously be forthcoming in The days and weeks ahead."

You can have the d---ed island if you want it that bad. Also, I suggest that the East Coast of the US presently marked "Free Nation" be marked "PI Protectorate", since Pravus clearly still insists that he has control over anything white on the American continent. This whole thing with Cuba has been highly confusing and has affected the outcome of making playing CNRP a less than desirable experience.
Unfortunately, you are sadly mistaken. I do not want Cuba. If I wanted Cuba, I would have taken Cuba. I clearly stated in the post above that governments from those lands should be allowed to come forward, and that I would defend my former lands if foreign invaders attempted to come in and subvert the will of the native people. You were clearly both. I also said that it would take three months to remove all Imperial military equipment from affected areas, which obviously hasn't passed yet. So I still had my regular troops in the area, plus I have a permanent base at Guantanamo. So no, I wasn't still "controlling" things, but you certainly can't claim the area was in anarchy or that it was lawless because it clearly wasn't.
Its simple he downsized but still wants the land.
Again, incorrect. You have consistently said such things without knowing the facts. I'd ask that you actually get a clue about what you are talking about before continuing to go after me constantly.
Then the land should not be marked as free land. Free land is just that free, no one claims it so any OOC objection or rules they wish to place on that land are not valid. In this case if the white land that Sigurd claimed was in fact totally free land then it doesn't matter what anyone says about the land as only Sigurd gets to decide on who or what lives/happens there.
That's not actually the case. First off, one can't say that Ireland is fully inhabited by black people just because the land is white. Further, this isn't a normal situation. A nation didn't collapse. This was an organized drawdown, where a system of law and order still remain. The GM's have been watching the situation and raised no objections to what has happened. Everything done has been completely legal and within the rules.
It's ok, I'm asking for the above from Canada, and they have offered it; RP. and I strongly suggest that PI make clear what he claims power over and what he doesn't. From what he told me, Florida and Cuba are both his.
What I control is marked on the map. I offered a solution with Cuba, you chose not to even discuss it. You took your ball and went to the great white north. Have fun. Also, I never said that Cuba and Florida were mine, so stop putting words into my mouth. Frankly, I'm amazed that it's so difficult for people to play a nation from the place they actually are. I'm especially amazed at how hard it seems to be among the newer players (please don't take this as a blanket statement on all of you. Some of you are doing marvelously). I clearly posted I would defend my former territories from foreign invaders and no one says a thing, but then when I actually do it people raise a stink about it? Sorry, doesn't work that way. You're well within your rights as an RPer to try and take the land as a foreign invader, and I'm well within my rights as an RPer to threaten to kick your ass five ways from Sunday to get you out. And, Jesus Tapdancing Christ, I explained the entire situation before my post, which makes this whole little cry-fest even more infuriating.
 18. The Empire of Pravus Ingruo formally recognizes the Continental Republic of America, and congratulate the people of Delaware on their unification. OOC: Basically, any nation that pops up that is called the "United States of America" I destroy. People tend to get a big head with it, and any incarnation of the USA has generally been hostile to my nation, so it's a pre-emptive self-defense thing. However, you have a different name and I have nothing against free, democratic governments, so you're good. Welcome aboard.
 19. Official Imperial Statement "The Empire of Pravus Ingruo hereby recognizes this nation." **PRIVATE MUSING** "Goddamn Virginian Socialists..."
 20. OOC: A little background, because you're new. I'm the guy who owned the area last, first off, and have a base in Guantanamo Bay. Second, when I made the territory white land, I specifically said that governments over the land would have to arise from the native people, not foreigners/outsiders. I've already taken action against someone who wanted to do this in Florida. Third, the area is not in an "anarchy", as you put it. Pravus Ingruo has a very structured system for protectorates, which includes a governor over the area and legislature for the area. Cuba would have had one of these, which means when the Imperial government pulled back, that system would have stayed in place. Nothing would have changed from rule under the Empire, except, of course, the lack of Imperial funds. But certainly no anarchy. I wanted to make you aware of all this prior to the context of my response. There's nothing personal here, this is just business. IC: Admiral Jackson Levitt, commander of the Third Fleet, was asleep in his suite underneath the base at Guantanamo Bay when a ringing phone woke him up. As he rubbed his eyes and sat up, he saw a red flashing light on the phone next to him. Oh bloody hell, he thought as he reached over and picked up the phone. "Go for Levitt." "Sir, Adrian Wallace, Imperial Ambassador to Cuba. We have a situation." "Situation? Son, what type of situation?" "It happened just recently. Men invading Havana. Well armed, supplied, organized." "Locals?" "Negative, sir. Far too light-skinned. Reports from the field say they're speaking German." The Admiral swore. "Any sign of a full out invasion force?" "Negative, sir. I don't think these are German nationals. They seem like refugees. A ship washed up in Havana Bay a few days ago after a storm. They could be from there." "What do they want, Ambassador?" "It seems like they want Cuba, sir." "Keep your head down, son. I'll get the cavalry." Levitt hung up the phone with Wallace. He rubbed his eyes as he sat up. Something told him that was going to be the last good sleep he got in a while. ========================================================================================== The 10,000 Marines stationed at Guantanamo got the word first. Immediately, they moved to DEFCON 3 status and began reinforcing their positions. The 30,000 troops of the 3rd Army stationed in Cuba, 15,000 of them in Havana, also readied themselves against the invaders. It seemed like the conflict in Florida was winding down, so the 3rd Fleet was immediately recalled to Gitmo. A call was put out to the 2nd Fleet to leave berth in Scotland and come down, as the situation in America was becoming increasingly unstable. Syracuse was called and immediately appraised of the situation. Guantanamo was told a statement would be made within the hour. =========================================================================================== Official Imperial Statement Once again, the Empire is forced to defend her brothers and sisters from foreign, outside aggression. Once again, we are forced to stand in the face of tyranny. A new force has begun to invade Havana aggressively, and without regard for Cuba's people, or the government currently administering the island. We give these invaders three options: 1) Remove yourselves from Cuba and stop attacking her people and capital city. You have 24 hours to do this. 2) Negotiate a power-sharing agreement with the indigenous government of Cuba, administered by what was the former protectorate governance under the Empire. Cuba will still be ruled by Cubans, but we are sure a deal can be worked out to allow your people at least a share of the government. 3) Be completely, and utterly, destroyed. We frankly do not care which option you chose, but our soldiers in Havana, Guantanamo, and throughout the island will defend themselves and the Cuban people from this aggression. You have 24 hours to make a decision. Signed, Jacob Harland Potentate OOC: Not recognizing the "two weeks later" portion of your post since you didn't give time for people to respond to your initial movements.
 21.
If you could give me Cuba and Jamaica, relevant RP is here. Also, the island of Hispaniola (Haiti/Dominica) and the Windward Islands (Lesser Antilles - basically Trinidad, Tobago, Barbados, Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, and Martinique). See below for clarification on the Antilles: Obviously, only the Windwards that belong to France. The latter is being RPed out with Sarah Tintagyl. EDIT: Almost forgot, please colour me dark blue.
Cuba is disputed...
 22.
http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=107929&st=80 I'm certainly not trying to start anythinng and am not trying to make anyone moody, but ishabad ICly posts "The people voted", and Pravus claims they did not and ICly he knows this because his troops were stationed there. If ishabad ICly posts his people voted, then is it not official? Is this not a case of Pravus controlling isha's civilians? Just an issue I had.
It is my understanding that from the time someone takes over land for a nation, there are two weeks where someone can contest that claim where the person does not have full control over the citizenry of the nation. Since isha claimed the land and I contested the next day, neither of us have control over large portions of the citizenry, certainly not enough for him to claim a vote has taken place. I've RP'd a total of two citizens in Florida during that time. Further, as Kankou said, there was not nearly enough time to hold an election.
 23.
RP to support the search for the leaders? Drones? Search teams? Winning a role shouldn't ensure success, just that if he rps it well without being a 'tard he'll hit the money shot.
There was RP. I RP'd the drones in the air and my intelligence operatives working on tracing the transmissions. It's there. Read.
 24.
"You are basing things off of speculation who do you say rules them unless they were voted in that time period. Its not like theres plenty of people left after of this war to shove through the polls. Unless there is proof from PI stating that there wasnt a vote this war is as pointless as this argument." OOC:godmoding?or some sort of idiocy?
OOC: I have troops in Florida, who have been there the whole time, so I would know ICly whether or not there had been a vote. IC: No, this is not based off speculation. Imperial troops were still in Florida before these foreigners came in and decided to set up shop. We have troops in the two largest cities, Orlando and Miami. Elections are complicated things, they are not things people simply set up in less than a day. There was never any evidence seen by our troops or local media that elections took place. You can ask them yourselves. Our troops are with a crew in Miami as we speak. As for not being enough people left, there are plenty left. Florida has tens of millions of people living there. The bombing run in Miami killed a few thousand. While a horrid move by the foreigners and regrettable that our forces were not able to stop it, it certainly does not diminish the population enough so that there is no one to "shove through the polls". We have plenty of proof for our arguments. Where is yours?
