  1. The Tianxia Emperor nodded, "Indeed, though I should warn you we do not return with an olive branch but a sword.  The cost of the Empire retreating internally into chaos and squabbles has lead to a much more terrifying world than we could have imagined.  We've seen the rise of many evils we had previously slain.  It is our intention to defend the World's people by strongly reasserting our role in the world."

  2. The Empire sent a transmission back to the Oceanians.  "The Empire maintains that it will not intervene and allow action to remove the GLR from the region.  In fact this would be a most justified outcome.  However, we also urge you to be careful about speaking about movements in Indonesia's archipelago generally.  We will allow you to proceed unhindered."

  3. The Southern Fleet began a full speed thrust towards the Indonesian Archipelago to protect the territories under Imperial Protectorate ceded from the Parthians.  Strategic forces moved to high alert, as missile systems were placed into the Philipinnes to enable a strike on the home territories of the Oceanic Federation, and the bomber force was sent to be able to engage the country's defensive systems from stand off range.

Dispatch from the Emperor of Tianxia

Movement against the entirety of Indonesia including our protectorates is a invasion of Tianxia itself.  Continuing on an aggressive path will only yield the Oceanic Federation's destruction. That said if you merely wish to remove the GLR we will not stand in the way.

  4. Please mark all the area I have protectorate over the North as part of my nation (minus the Kamchatka penninsula)

Also as a reminder I'm disputing all the Free Asia protectorates, and the southern islands should've been marked as mine in the SCS and the Phillipinnes is my protectorate

  5. Flash Several Days Back.

Shizi sat at the head of a large table table, ornate persian rugs were spread out along the floors of the Great Tent as erhous played.  The chieftains from across the North helped themselves to plentiful quantities of roasted meats, spiced rices, fresh fruits, delicacies on the Great Steppe.  He watched as they stuffed themselves to excess, smoking pipes, leaning back, watching the dancers, getting drunk on his wine.

The Emperor smiled, as he raised his glass, "To the Steppe." he said smirking.

"To the Steppe..." they began to chant with the dancers around them suddenly drawing blades cutting the necks of the traitors and bargainers.

"MAY ITS ONCE GREAT EMPIRE BE RENEWED IN BLOOD ONCE MORE!"

Across the North the waves of war grew more intense as Shizi's shinobi were unleashed in the night.  Their task was simple.  Eliminate all who stood before the Empire.  Bodies would be found for years as the Emperor's personal assassins were finally unleashed to do their job.  Kill.

At the same time offensives continued to push the remainder of the major rebels into Siberia and Korea where they were forced into hiding, hoping the Emperor didn't choose to pursue his wars across those boundaries.

In Singapore the banking guilds would find their assets seized by Imperial Decree, to invest in a new arsenal of liberty for all the world.  Election returns in the city would bring technocrats to power.  While in the Ryukyus huge crowds cheered as the statues of the Empire were raised again, the the Imperial fleet once again patrolled the islands. Former Government officials would walk down the halls of the Imperial Palace once again presenting their colors from these lands.

The Marianas Islands were increasingly being built up as forces moved towards the Pacific.  The Destiny of the Empire now turned towards the waves and the horizons above.

OOC:  All annexation complete but Marianas 6/7

  6. Imperial Troops reached the city of Zhangjiakou fifteen days after starting their counter attack in the South, combined with a fierce special operations campaign and increased city resistance they had managed to destroy most of the Mongol Republican heavy forces in the city.  Republican units had begun a general retreat from the South recognizing that the Imperials were destined to win set piece battles.  Many in the North had begun to move up towards the Siberian Border and infiltrate into Russia to setup base camp areas, while others began to defect to the Altin Urda State in the North with its greater brutality and effectiveness, seeing it as an alternative to Republican Rule.

Only the Maoists remained some agreeing to compete in local elections as part of the restored Constitutional Monarchy, while also retaining their militias, slowly building them up to fight another day, as the Empire's attention turned from north to West and South.

In the Manchurian Regions the Empire had also retaken the critical city of Harbin.  Xinjing and Harbin were ostensibly under Imperial control even as the Maoist militias tried to continue low intensity conflict in the countryside as a political bargaining chip.  Many of the more nationalist militias slipped the border into Korea to try and find new allies there and bandit off the lands.

Most importantly though was news from the countryside.  Many of Yuan Shizi's opponents had ended up dead.  The black night was what they had taken to calling it.

Elections were scheduled for these lands along with Singapore and the Ryukyus.  In Singapore the death of the Mongol Tribal Chiefs had made the bankers more willing to open their pocket books.  The cold blooded killing side was a trait not seen in Shizi's early reign.  While the Ryukyus had seen a substantial decrease in the violence from the Japanese insurgency.  Units were returning from the North with tales of victory.

Guam had now been fully reestablished in the Marianas.  Soon Imperial Power would ready to project outward beyond those Islands into the rest of the Pacific as was destiny.

OOC:  Manchuria, Mongolia, Singapore, Ryukyus 6/7   Marianas 4/7

  7. CN RP 1 is the most open, classic rules, but Mogar got rolled by Vektor.  So he made CN RP 2, which has restrictions because Mogar wanted to be a super power but couldn't in CN RP 1.  Then when Mogar's plans in CN RP 2 fell through, he made CN RP A so people who were better at the game couldn't play.

    Cheers.

  8. "What a coincidence.  The last time a 'God' stood before the Might of Tianxia his light was never known again.

If you presume to stand here and insult me, you will find yourself sorely mistaken, we will not suffer such insults, and recognize that no claim of Godhood or Kingship if that is unjust protects you from the blades of my Shinobi.  Our forces stand ready to reduce your lands to dust.  So ask yourself very carefully do you wish to take this act before me.  Because at the end of the day, you will end the same way any enemy of Tianxia ends.  A footnote in history.

Tianxia will not agree to no military bases, it will not heavily militarize the region, but there will be no artificial borders drawn when water touches land.  I will allow you to continue administering protectorates in areas not part of ours.  I will allow you to call yourself God Emperor.  I will even allow you you're 'non-aggression pact' but I will not prioritize Persian Interests over the freedom and rights of any society or nation to my West."

  9. Mobile DF-21-D and Bs were forward deployed against the positions for naval forces and bases in the Indian Ocean, while DF-25s were deployed to hold islands in the Indian at risk as well as targets in West Asia, as Global Hawks maintained a forward vigilant stance, against further naval adventurism by the Persian Forces.  While a group in Singapore was deployed with DF-25 and DF-21s to hold the main force of the Persian Fleet back.  Airborne units were amassing quietly in the heavily jungle province of Yunnan to begin an offensive in the Indian Ocean and force the Persians out as soon as the Emperor himself gave the signal to remove the Persian State from the map.

As the plane landed in Nanjing.  They would be greeted by a force of armed guards to bring the Persian 'God Emperor' before the one true Son of Heaven.

Shizi watched as this 'God Emperor' approached him.  Smiling he leaned back holding the sword of the Yuan at his hilt, the Imperial Dire Wolves growling, as the Lion had entered the land of the Wolves Den, "It seems we have a cat in our midst."

"Have you come to your senses and complied.  Or shall I draw my first blood since my return?" he said.

  10. Tianxia ordered a heightened state of readiness deploy SS-20s to moving patrols, emptying their bases to go on moving patrol in Western China that could reach Tehran and hold targets in the Indian including the docked submarine force at risk with little chance of evacuation.  Additionally the Tianxia Submarine force and bomber force moved into the air enabling the Empire to launch a stealthy decapitation strike at critical army units without much chance of detection.

Simultaneously Imperial Forces moved to begin strategically blinding the Persians C4-ISR assets and initiated emission capture programs for the South Fleet as it moved evasively.  Iskanders moved into position around key border regions, while ground launched TLAM-Ds were dispersed.  Space based, naval, air breathing, and ground based systems, including the near undetectable Misty series would begin collection.  Zero days were prepared to deal with known systems of the Imperium.  Tactical air was put on heightened alert and a snap mobilization of 200000 was prepared for the Persian Border.

Special care and significance was placed on allowing the Imperium to see forces being amassed to signal the seriousness of the Tianxia position including the ability and willingness to kill the Persian Emperor in a first strike followed by a multi-spectral/multi-domain SIOP, whilst concealing the exact specifics, positions, and capabilities of the Tianxia forces.

Persia may again send its leaders to pay tribute and negotiate.  However, the insults the Persian Empire has made will not be tolerate.  This is the final warning.
  11. The thunderous roar o SRBM missiles striking targets around Zhangjiakou SRBMs began striking targets specifically SAM sites, artillery, and headquarters groups for the ongoing seige knocking back the combined republican/Manchu assault as a counter attack from Beijing of two fresh armored regiments followed by a mechanized infantry brigade began the drive north to break the encirclement.  With the skies once again clear for all but a few SAMs.  EA-18-Gs performed a SEAD mission while B-52s provided a heavy assault against the main force.

Simultanously the Air Force initiated the Operation Thundering Forest, a combined air campaign using the B-1 force and F-15 Force to conduct strikes deep into the heart of the Republican positions forcing their supply lines back from Zhangjiakou.  Key elements of this would be the employment of now secured stockpiles of SLAM-ERs, giving the F-15s the ability to deny sanctuary deep in Mongolia, even heavily defended air defense zones.  at the same time they were also able to strike the surviving space link facilities.  Denying the enemy access to their ISR.

North of Zhangjiakou, efforts were particularly concentrated to create large holes in air defense while Raptors were sent and their whereabouts purposefully accidentally leaked on social media in order to keep the area clear of the surviving enemy force.  This gave the Imperials time to insert their two ranger regiments to the north, to filter out and amass to launch a decapitating strike at the rear, while also sending in resupplies to units withing Zhangjiakou proper to setup for a renewed counterattack.

Concurrently with the widespread campaign to defeat air defenses in the north the UCAV forces were now able to be used to deny sanctuary and hold militia targets at risk.  The buzz of reapers was now familiar over Inner Mongolia and Manchuria.  As the Empire began a massive drone strike campaign designed to both kill the republican leadership targets, but also engage the Maoists and deny them the ability to escalate to revolutionary basing stages.  Concurrently with that Imperial Knights and the Gurkha SOF engaged in a massive capture kill raiding campaign within the air permissive environments to drive them out.

This of course would lead many of the units to attempt to flee to areas still protected by the now heavily degraded Republican Air Force and Air Defense Network.  F-22s would be used here to provide interdiction and pick off particularly the heavy equipment as it retreated, as well as provide ISR for Tomahawk Block IVs to be redirected mid flight and employ bomblets to destroy whole convoys.

In Manchuria units were now pressing the Manchu resistance along the Korean Border.  A second Marine group landed in the Peninsula forming an Anvil and Hammer tactic as the navy shelled from shore, and the resistance southern group were increasingly caught in a shrinking heavily bombarded pocket in the center borders.

The Main Maoist Force though remained in the north and silent in the countryside around the key regional cities of Xinjing and Harbin, holding the roads and distributing arms at night.  The decapitation of mostly leadership was pushing the party towards a decentralized party structure enabling local geurilla commanders to make decisions of their own initiative.  Increasingly his force was seen as producing the most skilled and fiercest fighters.  However, these commanders were also increasingly anti-Republican as much as Imperial.  Within a few weeks it was estimated the surviving Republican forces in the region had begun retreating as many sympathetic local politicians turned dead.

Maoist units of course were able to gain heavy weapons, but in large pat hid them stockpiling for what they would call the long war.

In Xilinhot, the Emperor was increasingly losing patience with the Khans, it had now been weeks and only two of the ten prime chiefs had begun seriously committing forces and the strength of the Altin Urda Forces was growing fiercer by the day, having not only now stopped the Imperial Advance, but attacked and gained initiative against the Republicans in the area.  It was rumored some tribes were negotiating with Uhmat as well for a Li-Altin coalition, both represented conservative alternatives to both the Emperor and the Republican's increasing dependence on the Maoist forces.   An appeal to some tribal leaders who did not wish to give up their lands so easily no doubt.

Shizi watched as his advisers entered the room, he frowned as he knew what plan they were about to suggest, but given the terror reported in Altin Urda's Northern holdings, they were facing little choice.  He looked up at Ryu as the shinobi master spoke.

"We have two Khans loyal to us, and additional three neutral seeing how the winds blow.  Four are making deals with the Li and us at ones, and two are believed to be going outright to the Altin Urda if negotiations go sour."

"This isn't news, these men marched with me though to take the throne..."

"And have grown in corruption since, to rule you must be ruthless."

"But it is not honorable." Shizi protested.

"Leo, not everything can be solved in a head on battle.  They know your limits and so they don't fear you.  Show them there are none, and it will be a lesson they never forget." Ryu continued stepping forward.

    "Or forgive."

"Forgivenss is not necessary when you have respect.  It is your birthright they are the upstarts, not your equals.  You weren't there for the chaos..."

"Then..." the Emperor rubbed his chin.  "Make the preparations."

In the Ryukyus more volunteer brigades were being formed.  Spirits were high as people hoped to soon return to the Empire itself.  Many of the volunteer brigades were sent to the Island of Japan to guard the now fully churning weapons production facilities.

More still were sent to the Marianas where the Japanese insurgent army was still fighting.  Supported by irregular air units, barrel bombs were used to set fire and trap Japanese insurgent units, while the Ryukyuans attacked fiercely.  Casualties were high on both sides.

In Singapore meanwhile a final deal seemed just out of grasp.  Each time a price seemed to be agreed to the bankers pushed it back some more.  It was increasingly seeming like there wouldn't be any deal, before news came from the North.

  12. Shizi looked on nodding, and smiled, "I wish to achieve Harmony and restore the Way.  This world has grown to chaos.  It is my fervent desire to see order restored and to see the world return to a realm of peace and freedom for all.  For this to be done, the nations of the world must return to a global harmonious society.  I will build that society.  Our experiences have shown us the world is worse off without a strong voice in these matters.  It is my hope that Japan will stay in the fraternity of nations which will see these goals enacted.  I have always seen Japan as one of the most favorably disposed to this way of the world."

  13. The delegation would be sent in to speak to the Emperor himself, finding him in a pagoda off of the Imperial Palace center near one of the palaces many lotus ponds.  He smiled rising from his seat and nodding to the Indian.

"Your excellency welcome to Nanjing I am glad you could make the trip."

  14. "Likewise your majesty, it is always good to see friends from Britain. It was one of the firs countries that I knew as a boy, and I have been an admirer of your recent efforts the actions of the perfidious Irish aside.  I hope that we may come to good accord.  I find this World since my return remarkably short on friends and civilized men." Shizi said.

  15. If you wish to test your mettle versus the might of Tianxia, your nation will meet the fate of all nations before it who have.

You may come to Nanjing to pay tribute to the Son of Heaven and seek an agreement, nevertheless your withdrawal needs to begin now.  This is your final warning.  Free Asia perhaps had a point against the EAI, they were certainly a fascist enemy of the people.  But when Free Asia replaced one dishonor with another it lost is mandate.  Withdraw now or face the might of the fiercest army ever the Heavens' have ever wrought and we may know peace.

Or else you can test just how 'weak' Tianxia is.

    -Yuan Shizi

  16. Its possible it got Z-lined by another user's infected computers.  I know several public wifis I've logged onto have been z-lined, probably from someone on their having a infected computer that distributes malware.  Freshman dorms are a little notorious for causing all sorts of IT security issues.

  17. By mid week the city of Zhangjiakou was completely surrounded by the Republicans and their Manchu allies.  Fighting was shifting from wide spread manuver warfare to street to street fighting.  The additional deployment of the Republicans own advanced air defense systems had made airborne relief more difficult and CAS more difficult in a now less permissive environment.  Precious F-22A strikes were used by the Tianxia forces to provide relief against heavy weapons attacks in the city, while B-1Bs coordinating with out of range global hawks and SAT INT attempted to make hits on the moving PAC-3 and Aster-30 batteries operating in the area.  Iskander-Ms were being brought up for deployment, but were still several days away to conduct a stand off missile strike, and the cruise missile strike against leadership in the north was slowing logistics down generally.

In the West, the logistics chain to Ulan Bataar was becoming increasingly frayed.  Support for defending it became increasingly tribal loyalists to the Yuan Clan, whom had served under the Prince's Father while a band of fierce Altin Urda Restorationists had risen in opposition.  The Group's leader proclaimed loyalty to national socialist and combined Islamic principles, Uhmat Kemal, had turned his guns on fellow Republicans and marched into the capital of Ulan Battar, and pushed west, expanding a territory of militias from the outer Eastern suburbs of Ulan Battar into remote islamic villages on the border of China and Afghanistan.  This Militia was increasingly growing in strength, Republican units getting absorbed into it rather than face the ferocity of its ruthless troopers in a head on fight.

Under Uhmat, the Altin Urda Restorationists advocated that the Yuan were really a ploy, a restoration of Francoist Imperialism of the Neo Triyunican Empire, and were spreading rumors of doubt about the true lineage of Yuan Jia.  Was he truly a Mongol or a Han pretender.  Meanwhile in Xilinhot's outer suburbs, Li Loyalists were beginning to organize against the Emperor.

At his meeting with the tribal chiefs Shizi rubbed his head.  Many of the men were waffling, unwilling to commit to either side in this bloody civil war.  Though they pledged their loyalty of the Yuan, they had a million reasons why now was not the time to bring the Hordes into a single unified offensive against the northern warlords.  In fact, the Yuan Emperor suspected many of them were on the take and holding out for a better price.

"What corruption this has become." the Emperor whispered to himself as he looked up at the proceedings, his sword itching at his side.

With Shenyang firmly in Imperial Hands, the fight now turned to the countryside of Manchuria.  Vast swaths f the North up into Siberia had formed into a series of 'People's Army Liberation Zones', with Manchu units on the Republican side increasingly joining the Maoist ranks, much to the consternation of the Mongol Turkic Republicans who favored a more pan-nationalist allegiance.

In Singapore the Empire facing a different problem.  With war raging in the north, the Emperor needed money fast, and the Singapore banks had it.  There were now tense negotiations for more power given to the banks of Singapore in governing the province once its status was fully restored within the empire itself in exchange for extending additional lines of credit to pay for the Emperor's wars.

The Ryukyus were truly a bastion of stability in the meantime.  Japanese groups were increasingly being turned on by he populace, and Ryukyu fighters were joining the Empire in record numbers for volunteer brigades in the northern expeditions.

  18. The bloody Northern Front continued as a head on assault intensified against the City of Zhongjiakou, in the north, three Mongol Republican armored groups advanced, lead by a forward section of armor cavalry and two additional columns of main battle tanks supported by 2 batteries of artillery.  However, their advance was slowed by the positioning of Tianxian Artillery on the mountains above, deterring the armor force from a head on assault.  In the center Manchu and Mongol Irregulars moved through to infiltrate and attack, assaulting high ground positions of Imperial Troops at night, especially on the artillery positions, succeeding thus far in defeating about 15% of the guns.

Imperial forces had taken up the deployment of UAVs and helicopter gunships as a method to defeat assaults by the irregulars, but the method imposed a high cost with the ubiquitous presence of Mongol-Turkic and Japanese MANPADs.  5 B-52s had been stationed to maintain a rotating presence around the area, and that was successful in attritting targets when they moved on open terrain, but it was difficult to use against the light infantry forces.

An additional ranger regiment was en-route and massing but still not ready for prime time in the battle to aggressively counter attack the irregular forces on the ground.

Around Shiyang, naval strikes had allowed the Empire to regain the initiative against the Manchu militia forces, many of which had started to setup 'revolutionary areas' embracing the idea of a Manchu People's Revolutionary Republic.  Imperial Forces were able to increasingly defeat regular units, but the countryside was starting to slip as Maoists grew in ferocity there.

  19. "These lands were stolen from us during the Great Upheaval, through no small parts trickery and deceit, by those too cowardly to fight the Armies of the East but if the World requires reminders of the blood and steel we have at our disposal then so be it.  Such reminders can and will be given enthusiastically.

If you wish to come to Nanjing to discuss this you may do so.  Our demarche remains, it is your decision whether or not to find yourself out of compliance and face the consequences that will result from my wrath.
