To many of C&G supporters have drunk the mushroom laced Kool-AID.
Repeat something often enough, drown the opposition reasoned discourse with counters that becomes Meme and the truth will be lost in the deluge of threads. A public relations coup used well bringing the hegemony down, now substandard rhetoric.
Had TOP and IRON entered conventionally instead of preemptively, the words would change but the methodology would not.

I'm not a C&G supporter any more than I am a TOP supporter, and this is not reasoned discourse. This is a proposal for an unworkable collective escape that is nothing more than ludicrous.

You really don't get it? I thought you were just playing dense.

Okay, please explain how you were honoring treaty obligations by declaring on C&G. Keep in mind that this is a claim no one in your little posse has tried to pass off so far. The absurdity of such a statement is striking.

Unbeknownst to most, there is a secret archaic passage in TOP's most ancient treaties stating "when the beast shall rise from the sea, strike off the head of the tiger, and silence their complaints and their grievances". The meaning of this cryptic phrase has been debated for centuries, but now TOP has acted in accordance with the prophecy. The truth is out there.

I do believe this is currently the lowest or soon to become the lowest score the highest ranked alliance has held within the confines of the Sanction Race thread. Of course their are to many pages for me to check them all so i might be wrong.

I checked the old Sanction Race threads, and even after the change in tech from 20 to 5 NS and the alliance score formula changes in 2007, there was always an alliance above 50 score.

It’s not a "request" but a reasonable offer to any alliance on the other side that would like out of this war. It is also a public statement that at no time in this war, will our stance on peace terms change. No reps, no decoms, no nothing just peace. We don’t care how you got here, who you are fighting, and what treaty if any you used. We will give you peace and you can go on your way. Try as you like to make it more than what it is. I would say if you have not done so in 28 pages of repetitive posting I say you have failed and should just stop it.

Why be so inflexible? Win and take reparations for yourselves.

  5. Will any of these alliances pay the costs for peace, or merely "offer" it?

It's foolish to assume this is a reasonable request. Your advantaged opponents would have offered it if it was. An outpouring of universal mercy is not to be expected, no matter how many nations burn to mountains of ash. Some will live without surrender terms, and some will pay dearly for their sins. See this reality, retract your signatures, and make a choice:

Either fight on to victory or accept your demise. Escape is an impossibility.

  6. I don't really believe Blackstone was effective, although they did manage to get Ordo Verde attacked. Which was only carried out by the leadership. Half of Blackstone was members of Mushroom Kingdom who were just in it to have fun with something that couldn't work anyway.

Means: CSN is more powerful and has larger warchests... I think.

    /me shrugs.
It means another devastating attack from CSN, leaving 1.8 million in abandoned equipment, obviously.

  8. In order from most active to least active: Grämlins, MK, Umbrella, Poison Clan, TOP, SOS Brigade, Fark, New Polar Order, FOK, BAPS, IRON, NSO, Valhalla, iFOK, Athens, Legion, ODN, New Pacific Order, Sparta, Ragnarok, Viridian Entente, MHA, Monos Archein, World Task Force

    Or something like that.

  9. Here's my contributions from the SOS declaration of war thread:

Cold-blooded is my middle name. And ruthless. And Charles. And cute, for some reason. I think it's the beard.

You mean you're not really a adorable little teenage girl wearing cat ears who plays the guitar? My yuri fantasy is now ruined. :(

Er...I didn't just admit to that. Roll SOS Brigade, Alestor and Erika Furudo will burn!

  11. Like many others have said, I think there's a certain reluctance to surrender based on the past history of demanding large reparations. While this is a one-sided war, it's hardly a "beatdown" as in many past wars, morale in in almost all alliances is higher than I ever remember, and there's a greater ability to fight for extended times. TOP, IRON and NSO all seem to be looking to pull off an underdog victory, and I greatly admire them for that, while C&G alliances feel (and probably rightfully so) that the attack on them was unwarranted and want to be recompensed for it. At the core, you have one of the most meaningful and intense conflicts in Digiterran history, while at the periphery there is a strong loyalty to the ties that have been created between alliances.

In this context, it's not a "syndrome" at all, but an appropriate response. Surrender is for those who live without meaning.

What, I'm not good enough a reason?
I'm sure you'd be a great reason, but you know, it's a shame that whole SOS Brigade-New Sith Order MADP proposal fell through before we entered an endless recursion of time in which it never happened to begin with. Or something like that.

  13. So I reckon NPO is about 3 weeks from the top spot in score, at the rate things are going. Which will only increase if/when they rearm.

The question is: will they stay neutral, or will they mop up the mess of soon to be ZI nations who beat them down months ago, using their unexpected enormous strength advantage to claim victory? This war is weird enough that this could happen, right?
