  1. These are not justifications. My CB has been stated and I did my best to publicly recall the series of events that led to our decision to make war upon the Freehold.
  2. There is room for FTW to err but not much for us, it would seem. I immediately set out to plan a counter as soon as I saw the Kashmir AA had been attacked. Historically, we are known to defend Kashmir almost within minutes. You may have some idea how many messages I sent out, given your experience here, so you will understand that when I actually ran my sleep deprived eyes over Canik's (much nicer) message, it was almost too late to actually change course with full effect.
  3. It was not and for this same reason, Korlath switched Alliances. They could have messaged us beforehand but they either chose not to, or waited for a third party to contact them. All I am saying is that they commenced the second round with a previous attack. They should have waited when they saw Korlath in Kashmir and discussed it further Precisely because the unofficial agreement didn't specify anything about number of wars.
  4. Let's just say this half-assed agreement wasn't riddled with words like "probably". Even if this was the case, the last FTW attack on Korlath wasn't even necessary to complete those two weeks. It was definitely out of line and we only truly considered a possibility of war beyond this point.
  5. I am denying that there were any real, concrete terms to begin with. The delay in communications hampered any desire to think optimistically.
  6. Maybe the "some ppl" he mentions would find it more convenient your way.
  7. When I said ambiguous I was referring to his previous two messages, when I was still considering the possibility of a peaceful resolution. I waited more than a week for a response or some sort of confirmation. (to go from "hey man i don't know the best i can probably do is two rounds but my people don't like you and they would love to escalate so we'll see probably just leave it at that" to "We will grant your guy peace before the wars expire" is significant) He didn't feel the need to reach out until there was real chance we'd counter.
  8. He only reached out after they attacked the Kashmir AA. He wasn't so diplomatic before. To be clear, your are basing everything off my last message with Canik while we are basing everything off HIS last message, which clearly wasn't the same vibe.
  9. Yes because FTW's third counter was already ongoing, and round 2 already underway. The fourth declaration was overkill.
  10. Besides that, the two rounds were already already in motion. We never specified how many times he'd be hit.
  11. Based on what, that last message I sent Canik? What about that super ambiguous message he sent before that saying he didn't want to make anything official. Or the fact it dragged on over a week before I heard a response. In the dead silence, you tend to assume they're getting ready on the other side.
  12. Not by yourselves you're not, I'm assuming.
  13. Speaking of due diligence, why didn't FTW contact Kashmir and give them a chance at diplomacy before infringing upon their sovereignty? Everyone on our side considered the matter settled because Korlath was technically going to go through with his two rounds regardless. The fact he joined Kash only limited the number of actual counters, a matter which by your own testimony, is moot compared to the issue with round adherence.
  14. Yeah my mistake for using the term round and counter alternately to mean the same thing. Still does not change the fact you hinted at war in previous messages.
  15. It says HIS TWO CURRENT ROUNDS. I was referring to the actual rounds of war he was waging at the time. When he got hit a third time, this was also seen as acceptable. The 4th time, and while he resided within Kashmir, is what we contest.
  16. Can you blame me for thinking they'd use this as an excuse to come back for more?
  17. Yeah I paraphrased "probably be good at 2 rounds" to "Maybe if you felt like it" How is that, btw, in any way supposed to assure me he'll stick to his word? and I was referring to both that message and this one sent 20 minutes prior
  18. No. He said maybe two rounds, if he felt like it. And tbh the last thing he said before yesterday's Too Little Too Late message was that he was inclined to escalate things. When have we not defended our allies?
  19. Hence the DoW. That is precisely what we figured.
  20. It was very unofficial and as I stated before- the terminology ranges from -two counters to -two rounds Protection expired before it was enforced or extended. I mean that has to matter.
  21. You can just admit you wanted a fight and we can get this over with.
  22. Yes but hear me out, it wasn't planned or specifically coordinated for that day. It was an unauthorized raid which our side tried to be diplomatic about. His message telling me he knew people who were eager for things to escalate is the last I heard from him until yesterday. Historically speaking, this is what we call an escalation. If what you say about the protection status is true and commonplace in CN, I was unaware of it. Their announcement isn't exactly specific about the subject. If there was a breakdown in communications, it wasn't on my end. Canik refused to sign anything.
  23. An agreement he refused to sign. Ok very simple. Animalz' 90 day protection expired on the 3rd of March. Canik hurried to update their protection status on the 4th because he knew someone had already countered. First counter occurred at 5:30 PM Server Time. Protectorate status updated at 6:50.
