Yea, you definitely could say the same about a lot of other rappers. You're also right about Nelly influencing today's rappers, especially considering the fact that the majority of rap nowadays is manufactured, cookie-cutter garbage. I respect your opinion but I personally wouldn't put Nelly anywhere near Top 10, much less Top 5.

Kanye's first three albums were, imo, when he was at his best creative-wise. They're all classics. Before he started acting all gay. Nelly sucks and is the perfect example of what I like to call an "arcade rapper": You're in the game for a little bit, but once you run out of tokens (buzz) it's game over. He was popular for the time, but his !@#$ sounded the same and he eventually faded into irrelevancy.

I refused to throw you under the bus and for that I didn't get in.
