  1. If he was, we'd be neutral. Showing an ignorance to history again. Surprise, surprise.
  2. 5 did just fine :P It was supposed to be 4, but mine got split because I hit the maximum amount of quotes.
  3. In celebration of our seventh birthday, we've asked our past Secretary Generals to provide a few lines on their thoughts on the alliance. Some of the sixteen leaders could not be contacted, but we have received eleven snippets regardless.
  4. Seven years ago today, the North Atlantic Defense Coalition was born. From its humble beginnings, through the effort and passion of its members, overcoming the prospect of dissolution at times, the Coalition has endured, grown and become one of the stalwart alliances of CyberNations. In recent months, the Coalition has undergone a renaissance. Not only have we seen an influx of new members but also the return of some of our most celebrated veterans. The Coalition is also very fortunate and grateful for the recent addition of members from The Sasori Initiative, our former allies and now an integral part of the NADC family. Our institutions are also evolving to better serve the members of the Coalition. Whilst we are proud of our past and traditions, we are always firmly focused on the future and how to improve our government. Recently, we have been looking at how to improve our governmental framework through Charter reform. Under the leadership of our government, our member nations continue to grow, enjoying one of the most effective trade circle organizations and technology markets in CyberNations, so that recently we came second in the Survivor competition, a feat we had never achieved before. But the Coalition is not an alliance that only looks inwards. At every turn, the Coalition has sought to be a responsible member of the CyberNations community. The NADC is not a bellicose alliance, seeking diplomatic resolution to direct military conflict whenever possible. At the same time, the Coalition has upheld its duties and responsibilities to its allies, whenever it has been called upon to defend their rights, integrity and honor. In nearly every major conflict, the Coalition has rallied her troops to fight for those we have pledged to defend. From defending our ODP ally Zenith in the Karma war, to our defense of the Legion, The Sasori Initiative, and their allies from unwarranted attack in the DH-NPO War, the Coalition "has shown a willingness ... to declare on anyone regardless of size" in the words of one former Crown Prince. On this, the seventh anniversary of the NADC, we would like to thank in particular our allies and friends, who have provided support to us. Our success is as much a result of their support and friendship as a product our efforts. Our Aftermath allies are, and will continue to be, the cornerstone of our foreign affairs, and we look forward to continuing that friendship for a long time into the future. Undoubtedly, the Coalition has held true to the values and achieved the hopes and aspirations of its founding members. The Coalition is no longer in the shadows, nor is it a fledgling alliance. It is no boast to say that we have achieved the public recognition that our founders originally sought for our alliance. As long as CyberNations exists, there will be the North Atlantic Defense Coalition. We look forward to the challenges of the future.
  5. Mind if I spend a few days creating a mirror archive of the old CN forums, in case it ever goes away? Considering there are over 1.7 million posts, this will take awhile and will create a lot of hits from my IP so there would be no cause to be worried. It would make it easier if I could create an account on the old forums.
  6. The Tertiary Bond Preamble: Both cool colors agree to mix together to form a nice, tertiary color. Article I: Both blue and purple agree that they are, in fact, individual colors and will stay that way. Article II: Blue and purple agree to combine and form color harmony. Article III: Should either color become tinted with interesting information about the spectrum, they agree to share the tint. Article IV: In the event that another color wishes either blue or purple to lose its value, it is optional for them to mix against the subtractive color. Blue and purple may also mix together to shade a hue. Article V: Should either color wish to be monochromatic or achromatic, they will continue to form a tertiary color for 72 hours. 7. To be quite honest, I don't consider second place as a defeat. We did extremely well for ourselves, especially for our first time in Survivor. I had low expectations and thought we would have been lucky to get past the second round, so I was not disappointed.
  8. Well done, R&R. It was a good competition and your victory is well deserved :)
  9. When we were neutral, we got rolled by BLEU. Now when we're not neutral, you're indicating we'd be rolled by a neutral :p
  10. It's too bad you didn't win that round. This last one would've been much easier :p
  11. Yes, there is a bug. It's recording the growth, but not as it should be. We didn't grow over 200k NS in a day, and it said the same for the past three days :x The days change, the graph does not.
  12. For the last two nations that have joined the AA, when approved, were automatically granted the ability to create alliance announcements.
  13. Ah, so that's how you want to play it. Okay :) We're game.
  14. We'll be waiting for your white flag.
  15. R&R has been busy tonight. Congrats :)
