I really wouldn't make remarks like that without being able to back it up with evidence. Why can't they apologize to people whom might have told them they were offended while at the same time warning others what to expect if they join #\m/? It could have been, but I highly doubt it as anyone that's signed with \m/ should know what it's getting into and this whole time I would expect have been in and seen their public channel.

No. People who get into tech deals with us know what they're getting into from the get-go. If they choose to tech raid and violate what we stand against then that is their choice, but they know what is expected of them during the tech deal. As I mentioned earlier, we will only not be doing deals with nations that are raiding. We understand that alliances are made of like minded people but not all of them practice or necessarily believe in the act of tech raiding.

I am wondering why people are calling this announcement pointless. I see this more of a warning to people that if they have certain sensibilities against bad jokes they shouldn't join their channel. If anything this is a good deal as it lets people know beforehand so no more apologies have to be made in the future as people will know what they're getting into when they join the channel.

No. The people whom send us the cash should know full well that we don't deal with raiders. If they send us the money then goes ahead and raids that is their own choice to cancel the cancel the deal.

I do have a few members now, as the second part of this announcement would've indicated at least. Accepting money from a raiding nation would be fine as it actually takes money away from the raider's warchest that might be used to launch further attacks.

He is the one whom raided first, as such he isn't eligible for any of our help. However once he obtains peace from all his wars he is free to apply to Celestial Being as long as he understands that we don't allow raiding and try to help those being raided in our own way.

I believe we're doing the best that we can given the current reality and will be actively trying to encourage a lessening of raiding through other efforts as well. These efforts will be made apparent in due time.

I have to applaud AlmightyGrub's firm stance in his own beliefs throughout this whole affair. However I do wonder about what the arbitrary number in his head is regarding the size of an alliance being raided. As I understand it some other of NpO's allies also allow raiding of alliances but they just never end up on the OWF.
