  1. [ooc] I have stated the following in another discussion and felt that it should also be stated here [/ooc] Should the forces labelled as "The Hegemony" be given harsh terms at then end of this war? That depends on far too many factors and there is no blanket response, thus invalidating the question. Each situation is specific to the circumstances that brought the nation and/or alliance to this conflict, how much they fought and the length of their resistance before coming before the bargaining table. Is there a difference between a minor alliance that fought bitterly against all comers until the very last battle of this war or the major alliance government member who surrendered at the first hint of tanks rolling across their borders? I feel that it is true that the "Hegemony" nations are nervous about how the "Karma" nations will handle the terms of the post war environment and that it is up to the participants directly involved that should be making that determination, not public opinion. Will there be harsh terms meted out? (Yes) Will there be unfairness in some of the terms? (yes) Can this be avoided? (No) Should public opinion guide the process? (No) For my part in this I expect somewhat harsh terms. I knowingly exchanged my security at the expense of the freedoms of other nations and alliance both as a member and in the low levels of government of a major alliance. Although I had left the major alliance several months before this current conflict my new, smaller alliance was still firmly in the "Hegemony" camp. Thus I found myself on the battlefield arrayed against forces nominally under the "Karma" aegis. They won. My alliance lost, disbanded in fact. I still remain defiant and unapologetic. I made my choices and I refuse to surrender to the opponents I have met so far, I will retain my disbanded AA and I will take the wrath of the entire planet before I break.
  2. I apologize if I inferred that there was some "grand conspiracy" involved in the decision to disband. I was talking about a "generic confluence" of events and not trying to take any potshots at PC or TFO. Also, if we're going to be splitting hairs there was also one Internet Superheroes declaration.
  3. Regardless of how this is going to be spun out by the various camps at the end of the day Terra Prime is no more. I do not hold a grudge against the forces that came to bear upon us and caused this travesty, nor against those who would use this as an opportunity to advance some other agenda for there is still far too much to do yet. o/ Septer o/TP
  4. Point conceded. After the war is over I'll make sure to check back with you to see if my speculations were unfounded or not.

  6. Thank you Septer for giving your all to the alliance, you gave me a home when I thought I had none. Thank you to all the members of Terra Prime, it was an honor to serve you. Thank you to our allies and friends for your support and kind words before this war and during this war. Thank you to our enemies for giving us our biggest challenge yet.
  7. I'd like to add that CCC has been a valiant and honorable opponent both on and off the fields of battle, I hope that someday we can sit down and discuss why we didn't read Isiah 54:15 before declaring on your fine alliance...
  8. congrats War isn't over and the vacuum is filling up already! Good luck
  9. CCC has acted honorably on the battlefield and TP will honor the spirit of the agreement while the wording is fine-tuned - we will not aid nor attack any nation involved in this war unless in an act of self-defense until the greater war has been declared "over". Perhaps we could get this clarified by others in KARMA sooner rather than later.
  10. Nope, didn't expect not to get nuked. I did have some slim hope that this time the other side might actually fight with honor and not resort to using nukes when a fight started turning slightly out of their favor. Whine? Cry? If that's what you want to call it, go ahead. What I'd call it would get me a forum warn. Since this is a repeat of the tactics in play since UJW then I guess we can fast forward to your surrender or move into perma-hippie alongside the others who tried this manuever. I for one am happy to let you spend you nukes destroying my pixels if it prevents you from using them against my subordinates or allies. In the end the results will still be the same: Those without honor end up on the losing side.
  11. Last night blakestreet of schwadron initiated a first strike nuclear attack against his TP opponents. I am saddened to see such a dishonorable display, but I will only retaliate against those nations who initiate nuclear attacks against our alliance.
  12. I would like to apologize for mistakenly implying that CCC was the originator of such a heinous act as using a first strike nuke, as my Emperor Septer stated "it was late and I was tired". After this war is over I would like to personally meet with CCC leaders to make amends for my coarse and inaccurate behavior.
  13. So much for honor. At least I can rebuild my War Memorial twice as big when the glowing stops.
  14. So does this mean that this is the "Battle at Wits' End"?
  15. Welcome to the fray o/ Tempest o/ Purple
  16. A tough choice to make when presented with it, I feel you have done well in this. o/ GO
  17. Good luck on the field of combat TFO, we look forward to an honorable fight. If any TP member doesn't show their opponent respect and honor get a hold of me ASAP. We're here to fight the good fight and leave the trolls under the bridge where they belong
  18. The challenge is well met sir, should the membership of your alliance be unable to show the same composure and grace you bring here I will contact you immediately. Should any TPer fail to abide by the same honor and respect you pledge to us then contact me immediately as well. Let's show 'em all how to fight with honor and decency!
  19. Ride well IRON, may your blade and bow strike true - straight into the twisted heart of your foes. o/ IRON
  20. May Uller show gallantry and virtue in this fight. May our enemies show valor and honor. May the battlefield show that these combatants represented their alliances with pride and glory o/ Terra Prime
  21. An amazing feat that shows what a hard working alliance can do while it grows from a small start-up to over 200 nations... o7 GO
  22. Congratulations to Invicta and Meritokrati, again Purple shows excellence and wisdom by actions and decisions.
