You message the nation and warn them about the danger of not having alliance and you invite them to join. The nation takes you up on the offer and joins NPL. You go to GOONS and tell them to stop attacking the nation because it is an NPL member. Did you get belligerent and demand that GOONS stop the attacks? You made several mistakes here. First, you never allow full membership to a nation at war. I saw earlier that one of your members stated that new policies are in place now to prevent incidents like the one with GOONS. Second, it's GOONS and you should have know better or have people in your alliances that know how GOONS goes about their raids. A good advisor that knows other alliances stances could have advised you not to demand anything from GOONS. GOONS is not an alliance to be messed with especially when it comes to their love for raiding. Third, grow a spine. You see how firm GOONS is? You see why nobody messes with them? You see why they can join blocs like PB and DH? You should have held firm to your belief and kept talking with GOONS. Paying them the reps just made your alliance look weak. Some alliances will give the courtesy of letting the raided nation go and give it peace if an alliance recruits it. GOONS finishes it's business with their targets and then lets them go. My opinion is that this should be over as white peace. But, it is not my call. You should be getting in contact with GOONS if you haven't already to see what the amusing terms Sardonic said he might give.

There are plenty of NONE nations in the sea.
