  1. Bzzzzt. Wrong. Rommel is a member of Gramlins. You should pull up a series of your past hits Schattenmann, back from when you first started, I'm sure they'd show you in a wonderful light. That said I fear the boards may implode from the accompanying irony. Personal attacks are a new low though for your current freedom fighter persona at least, congrats.
  2. Well of course as then you'd have a consensus. My point was one uncorroborated testimony is just as worthless as any other. Now so far in this thread it doesn't seem that this is being treated as the case. On that note that's quite enough of the OWF for me for at least a few months.
  3. No you smell common sense, which I can understand may be an unfamiliar aroma. To break it down for you I was merely pointing out that Hizzys statement was accurate but needs to be applied across the board rather than just when it suits your individual prejudices.
  4. Yet Dr.Fresh has his word taken for gospel...right...
  5. Thanks Bob, Hizzy and others. As far as I'm concerned we've done nothing wrong, we did consult both parties and as such did a degree of due diligence. That said it now seems that some of the folks concerned may not have been completely honest about their feelings on the matter. Maybe we are guilty of taking what we are told for granted as this sort of situation was always going to cause some hard feelings but you can only work off the information at hand. @Sponge: You're making a lot of assumptions based on whose word you believe to carry more weight. I guess time will tell who's right.
  6. So what allainces actually benefit from the changing of one arbitrary number to another?Who's in the 200-299 bracket?
  7. Sure they could if they're smart...even if they're not wars, boredom and other outside forces would get them a good way there.
  8. The majority of my growth came while I was in GOONS, hardly neutral or peaceful. I've also never recieved any outside aid other that what I negotiated myself through doing tech deals. Once again as 100's and 1000's of people have proved it is very easy to rise through the ranks.
  9. It is dynamic, when I joined there were more than 35000 people playing this game, now I'm in the top 500. That's not by magic that's because all manner of circumstances can make people drop down the ranks, it's always been that way it always will be that way. Anyone who thinks it's impossible to move up the ranks is frankly an idiot.
  10. I'd probably feel exactly like I did 481 days ago, but wait here I am now in the top 1.3%, UNPOSSIBLE!!
  11. How is it irrelevant, you said " to make things easier" I stated it's not supposed to be easy...seems relevant (and pretty easy to understand) to me.
  12. It's not supposed to be easy. That's the whole point.
  13. But you don't need NS to become nuclear, sure it's one way of doing it but it's by no means exclusive.
  14. Blacky I see your nation is around 200 days old, assuming you play the game at the same level of "skill" should your nation be equal to one who has played for 400 days? A line was drawn that said "anyone that signs up after this point will be playing catch up" the day the game was launched. This change is not so different. As it is you should be glad that admin has put in other methods for you to gain nuclear arms should you choose to without getting into the top 5%, which theoretically should be impossible for anyone other than the first 5% of people who signed up to the game to get into (the fact that this isn't the case just highlights how wrong you are). If you're too lazy/impatient/stubborn to choose to use the feature that has been made available to you that's your problem.
  15. It takes a 167 days to save up for a MP by your figures right, I'm guessing most of the nuclear nations are fairly old right? Should we just reset the game everytime a new nation wants to join because otherwise they'll have to play catch up? The fact is a nation that's been here for 600+ days will be bigger than a nation that's been here 300 days more often than not. You also ignore that a nation with 4999+ infra which I would say would be the minimum to even think about nukes would be making 3(ish) million profit a day so say around 1 month of pure saving for a MP. Rather than 167 days. All the people who are whining just seem to want everything on a plate and want it now!
  16. I personally think the 75-133 would be a good starting point. With this second formula change nations are getting more compressed so it makes sense to divide up the brackets more tightly.
  17. In reality a nation can't build and dismiss a massive army overnight. As for people complaining about nukes just buy a manhattan project that's what it's for. If you can't afford to save up and build one you obviously can't afford and sustain a nuclear stockpile.
  18. It's a good change, it actually reflects Nation strength rather than military strength now, there was to much room for manipulation of stats before.
  19. No it's not, it'd be cheaper to just buy the stuff when you bear in mind if your target fights back both tech and infra now get destroyed.
  20. I'm having the same problem, I was on black, then I accepted a trade from an orange nation, then I moved to orange however my trade still shows up as no team bonus. My nation is 83803.
  21. I Meercats of the Meer Republic surrender to IRON and will abide with the surrender requests.
