1. "Excerpt from Chairman Suh Kong's speech on Communism, the War in Alaska, and the National Cause" "And so I come to the point of Communism and Capitalism. Our points tonight are all intertwined, our Communism, our War in Alaska, and our National Cause. Here in this nation, we are building a society where every man can build himself the life he wishes. Every man is accountable for his own actions and will be rewarded or disciplined for the degree of his work ethic. This is the ideal lauded by the capitalists, who are to be held as a societal enemy. Yet this ideal is exploited for the gain of financiers and the burgeouis elite in the Capitalist Empire. We have a nation where a man earns according to the sweat of his brow, not by the amount of loopholes he can exploit. Men with large bank accounts don't control this nation. You, the workers do. We do not perpetrate a nation of over-indulgence and excess. We work together for our National Cause to propel our people to greatness. And that brings me to our War in Alaska. There are others in the world striding with us. Our goals cannot only be set for ourselves but we must aid our communist brothers across the globe. The people of Alaska lament, and we answered their call. When their corrupt, burgeoning government declared an undue war against our allies and brother in the United Federation of the East, we acted decisively to end our enemies aggressive attack. Our soldiers blitzed ahead and cut the head off of the snake side by side with our Alaskan brothers. A quick, surgical strike that eventually sent shock waves through the Capitalist Empire. You see, when the capitalists propogate their system, it is liberation and just. How is our crusade any different? A stigma. And incorrect one, at that. A fallacy that runs deep in this world. We can only continue to march forward in contrast. Our nation is more free than the financiers and brokers want the world to know. Now the Alaskan government in exile, which we are still at war with, has declared 'counter-revolution.' We will not relent. That have seen only a fraction of our ability. Should they pursue aggression, Burma is prepared to declare total war in defense of our allies. March on Burma, to the fulfillment of our national cause. Goodnight."
2. Burmese soldiers celebrated their victory with the Communist Alaskans, shouting and cheering, at least those who weren't still on hunter-killer duty. Those soldiers continued to eliminate resisting government troops and taking into Burmese custody those who surrendered. POW's would be taken back to Fort Beihai. The First Expeditionary Force had just begun to arrive and stationed themselves in Fort Beihai for the time being, while the Second Expeditionary Force was recalled back to Burma. The FEF would remain in theater until Tatmadaw Command deemed the situation stable.
3. "Classified to military forces of the 'Communist Allies'' Notification of impending ground strike against Alaskan government base. The Tatmadaw will be paradropping 1,000 special operations soldiers immediately behind an aerial strike with reinforcements following behind. "Classified" After notifying allies of OPERATION: Hammer Strike, under OPERATION: Red Star, the Tatmadaw launched its group of AC-130 gunships and a squadron of stealth fighter bombers purchased from the UFE. They were targetting the westernmost point of the line to clear a path for the airdropped contingent of soldiers. The rest were speeding out of Fort Beihai over land to provide eventual support. Loaded with bunker busters, the fighters targetted the hardened fortifications standing in their path, while the AC-130's flew well above, filling the area with large caliber fire. As the UFE already made a strike on the base, this was more or less redundant but deemed necessary as just after, 1,000 special operations troops paradropped into the field and made a blitz towards the Alaskan government facility. The soldiers were organized into squads of 10, each with 2 soldiers outfitted with heavy EOD armor. Their job would be breaching into and through the facility. The spec ops soldiers were assigned to enter into the facility and eliminate as much of the remnant government and their forces as possible. The AC-130's would remain behind to conduct covering fire for Tatmadaw forces. At this time, the first material elements of the Burmese reinforcements reached Fort Beihai, transport and attack helicopters, while the soldiers and ground vehicles were still en route. OOC: Requesting Chancellor Patrick's government forces numbers in his base. Also letting everyone know this is meant to be a quick strike by spec ops forces, not a massive mobilization.
4. Considering the Federal Republic's refusal to heed our counsel and their continued aggressive stance against their own people, and most of all the Alaska's declaration of war on the UFE, Burma hereby declares war on the Federal Republic of Alaska. "Classified" With an increase in hostilities, the Tatmadaw has moved into DEFCON 1 and has begun to mobilize. Elements of the Burmese Army have been formed into the First and Second Burmese Expeditionary Forces (each containing 50,000 soldiers, 1,000 tanks, 1,000 APC's, 1,000 IFV's, and various support vehicles in addition to transport and attack helicopter support.). Non-combat transport ships began loading the soldiers and supplies to begin their voyage to Alaska. "Classified to the UFE" The Tatmadaw requests to send more military elements to Alaska, recognizing the fact that Fort Beihai may not be able to accommodate them, in which case we will move independently and establish a beachhead up-penninsula. In addition, we request that our small detachment of fighters and AC-130's be allowed to refuel in Guam en route. We will be sending 5 fighter squadrons and 1 gunship group (6 planes each) to the theater.
5. Burma urges the Federal Republic to stand down and rescind this declaration, while instead accepting the inevitability of its own peoples' will.
6. "Classified" With clearance from UFE liasons, the Tatmadaw began loading material support onto commercial cargo ships. Considering the UFE was Burma's largest trading partner, nothing would be out of the ordinary for Burmese ships crossing the Pacific toward UFE holdings. The containers were loaded with outdated Kalashnikov rifles, grenades and logistical hardware such as radio equipment, fuel, etc. On another commercial transport ship also bound for Fort Beihai, 5,000 special operations soldiers waited to port in Alaska. They had no immediate combat orders, but were to assist in current operations until they received further orders from the Tatmadaw headquarters in Naypyidaw. Along with the soldiers were several liason officers and a black ops team lead by a Burmese Intelligence Agency (BIA) handler who were planning to engage in covert operations to further the revolution.
7. Burma does indeed believe in the freedom of the people, and as such supports the socialist revolution. We praise those Alaskans who look forward to progress and equality, free from the oppression of capitalist oligarchy. "Classified" To the UFE: Burma requests to send resources to Fort Beihai to be routed to Alaskan revolutionaries. In addition, we request to send a special operations group to Fort Beihai, in the event that hostilities beyond Alaskan borders arise and to do our part to further international revolution.

Burmese National Broadcast Corporation Mandalay, Burma Under the umbrella of the Department of the Overwatch, Mr. Kuo Gao Sang has created the Theravada Fraternity, a government department overseeing Theravada Buddhism, the largest religion in the country. 9. "Burma has no qualms with the Canadian people uniting under the revolutionary banner. We wish them prosperity and efficiency as they strive onward to the future." -Senior General Suh Kong, Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council
10.
Classified The UFE Offers to provide F-50 Banshee Fighters. The fighters are stealth shaping and coating but built with a larger airframe that can support a greater amount of fire power in its payload bays. These fighters are equipped with advanced electronic warfare suites and sophisticated synthetic aperture and AESA Radar systems to provide a maximum shoot first capability. The fighters also have greater range being designed as expeditionary units for the carrier groups originally. We also are willing to provide you with our latest generation of anti-ship ballistic missiles and S-500 surface to air batteries and offer to build joint radar and sonar stations in Burma. We'll also provide naval UAV surveillance planes and the ability to use the UFE satellite network, giving you the ability to utilize these weapons. Finally we can provide you with hypersonic club k cruise missiles.
Our government is very grateful for this offering and will accept. The appropriate amount of funds will be sent immediately to accounts designated by the UFE government. If the UFE saw it as favorable, we would request technicians be sent to accompany the military hardware with training materials to train our instructors so as to smooth the transition to the use of the more advanced technologies. We will be working diligently on information sharing upon our uplink to UFE networks to increase intelligence sharing and streamline joint defensive capabilities and operations. OOC: I'm not sure of the amounts I am allowed to utilize under the tech sharing rules as of yet, so I left numbers out for now, I'll figure it out soon.
11. Burma supports the United Federation of the East and the Oceanic Union in their efforts to maintain security in the former Malay Federation and Southeast Asia at large.
12.
We stand ready to assist you in your natural development, including the sale of advanced stealth fighters. Please send us your needs and we can offer weapons with the capability to satisfy such requirements.
We would be looking for a solid stealth system that sports a high payload, if at all possible, the second choice being a fighter that offers maximum stealth. Another sector we would be grateful for aid in would be missile systems in the anti-air/anti-naval departments, as well as cruise missiles.
13. Burma National Broadcasting Corporation Rangoon, Burma Scientology refused religious status in Burma, Declared a cult. After a long legal battle with the Overwatch, currently fulfilling the role of Burma's official judicial branch, Scientologist representatives in Burma have had their petition to receive religious status in Burma rejected. Following the news, a small display in Rangoon by Scientologist supporters sparked up outside of the city hall, where the supporters brandished signs and shouted protests at the ruling. Scientologists gather to protest the Overwatch's ruling. In response, the Overwatch, supported by the State Peace and Development Council, declared scientology a 'Dangerous Cult,' which officially outlaws the practice of the organization within Burma. Overwatch soldiers, in conjunction with local authorities in Rangoon, worked to disperse the protests in light of the ideology's new classification. General Mann stated that, "The Overwatch will be working to limit this dangerous cults reach into our society. Not only does this cult work directly against the Burmese people and their National Cause, it exploits its followers for the benefit of the few elite. We will not allow Scientologist representatives to take advantage of the people of this state, despite any other nations who make the mistake of allowing this organization to run rampant within their borders."
**Classified** Directive from State Administrator General Tang Mann of the Overwatch relayed to all media outlets From now on, Scientology is not to be referred to as a religion, prospective religion, ideology or philosophy in Burmese media. It is to be referred to only as an organization or a cult, and its followers and representatives may not be referred to in any religious, ideological, or philosophical fashion, such as practitioner. The terms representative and supporter are deemed acceptable. Failure to conform to these guidelines for media in regards to scientology will result in punitive measures ruled on a case by case basis as ruled on by the Overwatch's Administrative board.
14. The space weapons ban is supposed to only be against space-to-earth missiles. I've developed and used anti-satellite missiles before. I think that SDI's are exempt from these, though.
15.
Why must we put additional numbers to our artillery/support vehicles? Let's keep the good old KISS method and just do what we've been doing, that is, keep things at a "resonable" level. If anyone disputes the resonableness of an RPers number, then we have the GMs here to step in and make a ruling. Less Numbers = More enjoyable RPing
This, as well.
16. I support Kankou's suggestion. Developed militaries use large amounts of mechanized support beyond tanks, so it would only make sense that a developing nation or a first world nation (by our tech scale) would utilize such assets.
17. Burmese Central News Agency Naypyidaw, Burma Today, in Naypyidaw, Senior General and Chairman Aung Suh Kong named General Tang Mann to the position of State Administrator of Burma. The creation of the position coincides with the creation of the Department of the Overwatch, which will be charged with overseeing the national police forces and acting as an internal affairs agency for the state. As State Administrator, General Mann will be the chief officer and commander of the Overwatch. Overwatch will be given a task force of special forces soldiers who will be transferred from the regular army to the Overwatch Command and will be under an independent chain of command, only ultimately answering to General Tang Mann and Senior General Aung Suh Kong. 18. That's fine as long as it is public. It would only make IC sense.
19. I would be open for a multi-person character RP.
20. I'd be down. I'm not really doing anything so if you wanted to send me a PM, shoot.
21. Classified: Information sent to allied nations of information purposes. Rangoon, Burma The State Peace and Development Council has begun a redevelopment program for the Tatmadaw, which will look to increase the Tatmadaw's numbers, equipment, technology, and combat capabilities. Major points will be the updating armor components of the Burmese armed forces, improving combat logistical and information gathering technology and capability, as well as improving strategies that play to the terrain of the Burmese homeland. The SPDC has allocated a large portion of the budget to the development of the Tatmadaw, much of which will go towards building naval facilities and constructing naval vessels therein. No concrete timeline has been given as of yet, but development will be going ahead at a 'brisk pace.'

23. Burmese National Broadcast Corporation Mandalay, Burma Earlier in the week, in Naypyidaw, the Burmese Transitional Military Government handed down the Burmese Permanent Governance Initiative to the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw for voting, which was passed. Now, at a ceremony on the grounds of the Mandalay Palace, the last seat of pre-colonial government, an announcement was sent out to the world. Meeting there would be the entire council that made up the Burmese Transitional Military Government, including Senior General Aung Suh Kong and General Than Dao Minh, along with Prime Minister Thein Ku. As Senior General Aung Suh Kong shook hands with Prime Minister Thein Ku, the State Peace and Development Council was officially accepted as the permanent government of Burma and the Burmese Republic. The council of generals who made up the BTMG would assume similar roles in the State Peace and Development Council [SPDC], which would act as the executor of governmental authority in Burma, with Senior General Aung Suh Kong, acting as Chairman of the SPDC, as both the head of government and head of state. General Than Dao Minh would become the Deputy Chairman of the Council, and would oversee the Amyotha Hluttaw (upper house of the Burmese legislature). Prime Minister Lieutenant General Thein Ku would also be given a more minor role on the Council, with the ability to voice opinions and vote on executive matters on behalf of the Pyidaunsu Hluttaw. As there is no official presiding judicial branch for Burma, the SPDC will be creating a committee to act in its stead until a more concrete solution can be formed.
24. "Asia as a continent eclipses the world in potential. Toting unmatched manpower, economic potential, and will, an Asia working together would create an unspeakably great force within this world. Burma is willing to do its part to facilitate in the development of these three strengths, through cooperation with the United Federation of the East." -Deputy Interim Leader of the Burmese Transitional Military Government General Than Dao Minh
