The point of this thread was that LOSS is protecting IngSoc - it was an announcement and has so been announced. Unfortunately it has devolved into something else entirely, with both sides throwing 'punches' at both alliance credibility and personal credibility. I for one apologise for any offensive the members of my alliance may have caused during this debate and furthermore to GR who's trust we have obviously misused. However, I don't believe this thread (which started with such good intentions) should end in such a way. And to further this end while you of course may continue to speak out (as is your right) my members will no longer reply. No LOSS member under the rank of Consul may post in this thread.

Deth is trolling LOSS... What a surprise... Hey - why don't you get back to what you love most and try to coup some more governments. Being a LOSS thread and DW being the MoFA would make him much more relevant than you - I can understand and empathise with what Trace, AirMe and Bob are saying because their words have weight. You lost that power when you started trolling anyone associated with us indescriminantly. To the point where even after I left MK to go back to LOSS (after voluntarily paying reps) you still trolled. So do you really have anything new to say? Or just the same old garbage?

An IRAN LOSS Preamble The alliances of the League of Small Superpowers (LOSS) and IRAN sign this treaty of Peace, Aid and Intelligence, to develop their friendship and to expand their co-operation within the Cyberverse. Both alliances agree to comply with the following articles and do everything in their power to uphold them. Article 1: Peace Both signatories agree to co-exist peacefully. No act of aggression is to be taken by one signatory against another, regardless of any situation. In the case of an unauthorised attack by a member of either signatory, the signatory alliance to which the attacker belongs to is expected to deal with their member, including the ordering of peace, and the payment of reparations to the nation attacked. Article 2: Intelligence If either signatory acquires information concerning the other signatory, they must bring it forth to the signatory which it concerns. This specifically applies to information regarding any harmful acts or threats towards either signatory, acts of espionage or any other useful information. In addition, both signatories agree to not conduct acts of espionage and spying towards one another. This includes both in-game spying and off-site actions. Article 3: Aid Should either signatory be under circumstances which require financial support , the other is highly encouraged to provide as much foreign aid as is needed upon request, however any such request can be denied, if reasonable grounds exist for it's denial. In addition, each signatory agrees to not send aid to any alliance, which is at war with the other signatory. Article 4: Optional Defence If either signatory is engaged by another alliance in a defensive war, then the other signatory is encouraged to help in any way possible, such as; diplomatically, monetary and militarily. However any such action of support is not mandatory, and the extent to which it is taken is at the discretion of the signatory carrying out the said actions. Article 5: Civility The members of both alliances should interact in a a civil, respectful and polite fashion with each other. This includes all mediums of communication, and government officials should encourage members to be friendly to one another. Members of both alliances should strive to show unity on public forums. Article 6: Cancellation In the event that any of the above articles are clearly violated, this treaty will become void immediately. Otherwise, either signatory can cancel this treaty, after a 72 hour notice to the other signatory, by stating the cancellation in their embassy. I doubt many people are going to read through what is potentially hours of logs from a back office channel... I'm sure if someone does find anything they'll post it up here - but then again who would care enough to look? Also, we've had a fair few of these threads of late

One thing that is imperative for you to learn Kobi, is that being almost anything is tantamount to nothing. The other thing you've got to realise is that alliances don't like being told what to do. Case in point is that the leadership of any alliance don't like finding out about things on the OWF - especially things that haven't been approved or signed. Doing so does not endear you to the public or to the alliance you're hoping will protect you.

Yes, I am well aware - really I should have known better - I'm an idealist at heart I suppose... This is CN after all - alliances do what they have to do... I'm sure I am guilty of a lot worse. However, I would also temper my earlier comments with the fact that none of us yet know the full story and we shouldn't set our opinions just yet. Not only do we have 'part two' to deal with by this former Knight - but I'm sure the leadership of the Order will be making an official comment, both of which I'm awaiting with keen interest.

You and me both - although I'm less angered (because as mentioned no alliance would stand by as a member was attacked) and more disappointed. OBR doesn't seem the same.
