The Republic of Taiwan has had a government change as Hideki Tojo became Prime Minister following a vote of no confidence against the current government. Taiwan has had a Japanese majority, and dissatisfaction with the Chinese domination has led to a parliamentary coup. President Chiang Wei-kuo accepted the new government, saying "The will of the people has been shown." OOC: Wanted to be Japanese more than Chinese.

To Nagase (Public): You are in Europe, which is very far away. We have no intentions on suddenly concluding a treaty with a country on another continent. To Acca Dacca (Private): Yes, we would be quite thankful if you would do so.

The President of Taiwan is Chiang Wei-kuo. His policies will be to be friendly with Southeast Asia, Japan, and Korea, with reunifying all of the island of Taiwan as the main short-term goal. He shall be accepting questions on the Republic of Taiwan.

After the land exchange with Acca Dacca, the people of the former Chinese Republic moved to the Island of Taiwan. With everything settled, it was time for a new declaration of existence.
