1. Virginia senator, Kayla Hendrix rose and spoke, "As a Union founded by the people so should all proceedings of it continue as such. If it is the will of the people that is up for question, we amongst the people will always support their will. Let the elections go forth or so jeopardize all of our liberties & smash the fondations that we have laid."
2. Pass The Bill! Virginians have begun a "Pass The Bill!" campaign of notifying their congressmen to vote in favor of the bill on state determination of taxation. "One of the greatest aspects of this Union is the respect for states rights for every state in the union; the President's policy of allowing states 'room to breathe' has acheived greater bonds as a union, solidifying each state as one nation by loosening the tight restraints placed upon them which we now see fading into history." stated Lieutenant Governor Micheal St. Clair, in a statement regarding the bill in his speech after appointment to said position. In other news, Governor O'tracy has departed for a trip to the Western-most states of the Union in the twilight of tense situations braught upon the Union by the remnant nation of Tahoe. On his agenda: aiding the President in dialogue efforts wth Tahoens.

Virginia, Office of the Governor Virginia governor Jefferson O'tracy offers dialogue between Tahoe & the Union as a whole for cooperation in joint oversight of a new vote. Such action might certainly remove all doubt of any result. The govornor hopes to dicuss the issue on his comming visit to the western U.S.

Men & women 22nd Civilian Militia of Virginia rose to the cause of defence & enforcement of the Constitution by means of combat when deemed absolutely necessary. Today, Virginia legislature has aproved the State Adoption of this militia as the state militia; surprisingly the civilian regiment declined & in response to this legislature is being pushed to formulate an officialized State Militia. A spokesperson for the 22nd, Lieutenant Benjamin O'shaun stated: "We serve the state of Virginia and the Constitution. To officialize our militia would place us under the the command of the President, and so under the federal government by order of the Militia Act. Hostiles to the Constitution that we serve, include corrupt, tyranical, &/or anti-constitutional officials, corporations, groups, individuals, and systems. Should the federal government at any time, in any way shape or form become hostile, as deemed so by our outlines, then we would rather not fall under their direct rule. We serve Virginia outside of legislative jurisdiction while working & existing within Virginia law & satute." A Lieutenant of the 22nd CMV

Stop Federal Income Tax! Virginians rally for a mass state movement to end the federal income tax claiming economic conditions for the average Virginian have been jeopardized to the point of financial enslavement as is the interest of the Federal Reserve; a private banking system. Virginia Secretary of Finance Jacob T. Robinson states, "The economic struggles faced by our state are made more difficult by a sinister design that has embedded itself deep within the systems of this great union. We stand against involuntary survitude to this unconstitutional direct tax, imposed upon the American people by means of fear & false duty. Taxes by the Constitution must be aportioned & may be only thus or so illegal promoted. The lack of a a statute or law for the existance of this tax has brought many of us to seek independance from it..." Protestors line the streets of Richmond in a massively organized event. Several speakers make their statements to nearly 1300 Virginians from the 1st Virginia Bank 'Oratory Platform', allowed for use by bank Director, Michael St. Clair. Similar acts of state unity by several prominent local businesses have contributed to the rally. With the winding down of President Caudill's presidency, Virginians grow anxious for a new. ally against the Federal Reserve System. Many fear the end of our Presidents service in uncertainty; fear that the popular policies pursued by the nations president may come to an end with his last term.
6. Virginia Senator Alexandria Mcnamara formally apologizes for being absent from this vote, sighting a canceled flight as cause. Further, Governor O'tracy of Virginia applauds the passing of this bill in the expansion of liberty & stability across the American continent. He also gave this statement: "We are saddened to hear of the departure of the only president we ever knew; a man we followed & admired, President Caudill, you will be missed. Your selfless actions for a better America have created a succesful nation in progressive existance. Your genious and good intent have left a perminent mark on our lands and in our hearts. If we have any luck, at all, our next president will guide us with a similar finese and we look forward to the first nation-wide elections for the United States of America."
7. New Elections Rock Virginia Virginians flocked to the polls this week to pull out the highest voter turn out for the state since the state's admittence into the union earlier this year. Voting stations where set up in all major population centers, expanding even to several rural areas, which proved to be vital to Governor O'tracy's campaign. At age, 49 Jefferson O'tracy connected with the rural community along with his emphasis on improving & building upon the state's agricultural sector as a vital portion of the economy. O'tracy was also careful to draw strongly upon the deep-rooted history & cultural individuality of Virginia leading a very unique campaign of historical education and state patriotism that drew strong support from the more "electorally involved" middle-aged Virginian vote. The outcome of this election is sure to see a new direction in Virginia politics, economics, and culture. Patriotism is in the air and the state is eager to find its place within the union. 9. Governor Jefferson O'tracy received a hail of applause as he approched the simple podium placed just outside of the Virginia State Capitol building, looking out to the courtyard. Virginia state flags where raised to equal mast as U.S.A. flags. As the applause died down, Jefferson began.. "The formulation of this ever expanding and strengthening union has cleared a prosperous path for & of the free people of America. Together we have formed & continue to build upon our existance as the greatest vestige of liberty on the face of our planet. Today, Virginia stands to write a new chapter in her own history as one of many beautiful states of our nation. The outcome of this election puts the fate of our state back in our control as we grasp hands with our fellow states to preserve and protect our union, its constitution and its principles. We will seek the empowerment of our state both economicly & culturally; securing our very unique & individual place in this great union. The United States of America stands as the last bastion of global liberty; the last remaining roadblock to a Godless, imperialist New World Order that ultimatly wishes to destroy all such cultures and free societies. Our Union is a stumbling block to that design so long as we stand by the foundations laid by our forefathers there will exist men and women like ourselves who will demand to be let alone to live life as we see fit, answering only to God and legitimate civil government. May this & all preoceding elections forever be a reminder to our purpose in struggle, our reason to fight. How many amongst you prefer, as I do, our union to an imperialist order? Sic Semper Tyrannis- Thus Always to Tyrants." The crowd erupted in applause & cheer as Governor O'tracy concluded his short speech. 10. The Dominican Revolution birthed a republic, dead set on liberty & secure in its endevour for world wide freedom. The life of this new nation was checkered with heated tension, constantly braught to odds with neighboring empire's behind the lead of its great national hero, Che Guevara. Now, with the impossible conditions of life by lack of sustanance, low resources for a rapidly growing population of thousands seeking to basque in a victorious revolution, this life comes to an end. The fall of the Dominican Republic came by suprise announcement by the revolutionary government unable to fullfill its duties of governance. Anarchy has been declared throughout the nation, though a relative calm remains aside from heated spots of dissorder that now dot the island. Commandante Che Guevara has been expelled from the island and seeks asylum in the United States.
11. The Dominican Republic congratulates its ally... Also, Che Guevara would like to go to space. OOC:
12. Due to the outbreak of open conflict involving our ally, the United States of America, we announce our full support. The Dominican Republic is now at a state of war with the GLP. We ask of our ally permission for Dominican ground and air forces to enter U.S. boundaries in deployment for combat zones. 13. [s]Say again? [/s] "It is my mission to see to it that your cycle of human evolution is not carried out, by means of counter engagement the cycle will again be in the hands of the mass rather than the reigns of the oppressors. There is no superstition about the thousands of cultures that both individually and collectively shape our world and its history; this has always been and will remain so. I do not see this as a means to distract and divide the collective, rather to make impossible the consolidation of the working mass in the hands of the exploiter. That being the gents of this process, whom atop civilization's pyramid, are history's manipulative controllers of the mass. When power again is recieved into the hands of the mass of people, history is set free; there is no cycle, no certain end date. Advancement and new cycles continue on, but no one man, so to speak, will set the coarse for all. The attachment, love, and loyalty to ones land and culture is indeed not necessary to capitalist industries and markets. The role for which this is vital, though, is to lead men to think more with their hearts and feel with their heads. It is a defence against exploitation in the minds of any and all who might do so without the best interests of his/her land, community, and ethnic people in mind." -Che Guevara
14.
"The only territories of Pacifica gained through force are indeed Hawaii and Midway. I don't think those chains total up to 'thousands', to say the least what you are sensationalizing reality and speaking in hyperbole. But I am only speaking on your terms, and in the language of your value system. To address you more directly, you speak of imperialism, and of a dichotomy which exists between native and foreign entities. But what is this distinction: it is a lie. You use the language of the left but you seem to only vaguely grasp its meaning; at its core is the simple dialectical reality of our interactions. In truth the notion of 'nationality', and the concept of 'native', are utterly arbitrary distinctions. I am randomly born on a particular plot of soil, and so thus I owe my allegiance to the government which controls it, or to the people who live along side me? I retain a label that has been given to me, and allow my peers to fill my empty vessel with ideology, culture, and the very essence of my identity. Surely it is obvious from this perspective that to take such a world seriously is to defraud existence, and more importantly to defraud yourself. Presently we exist in a world that is locked in an evolutionary process, one which is pressing humanity towards a greater existence, one of increasing connection, and increasing unity. War, and other forms of struggle are simultaneously symptoms of existing inefficiency, as well as attempts on the part of the system to correct itself; and heroism as you speak of it, is its byproduct. Ideologies like your own seek to stunt this process by dividing humanity into arbitrary provincial categories rather than binding it together under common cause. You seek further war, further destruction, further stagnation, as you simultaneously seek to reverse the natural process of conflict by re-dividing humanity in its aftermath. I seek precisely the opposite, as I seek to expedite this typical processes; in short I seek peace though the unification of man, or otherwise the destruction of any construct which seeks to divide him. The Imperialism you speak of is an invalid concept, as for imperialism to exist there must be a foreign imposition upon a native. As these two distinctions are arbitrary and without meaning, the true story of modern expansionism and conflict is one of conquest and struggle between opposing forces. The coalition against Tahoe proved to be stronger, and so by right of conquest it seized from the hands of its enemy its territorial possessions. But the people as you speak of them, will be better for it. In time, they and their offspring will assimilate, new technologies of the superior society's will be brought in, and the resources both human and physical of the conquested territories will accelerate the development of the whole. So before you continue, consider what you are suggesting. Rulership of region in reality makes little difference. Basic human need is not an ideological matter, if an extended unitary government can tend to it and provide for the prosperity of a particular region, then what is the material difference between such a rule, and one conducted locally? The present is as it is, there is no way to turn back time; we are no longer the destroyers but the creators. To oppose us is to oppose the happiness and the livelihoods of the people of Hawaii, and in general the people of western North America. Beyond that if you should succeed, your efforts are only laying the seeds for further conflict by further dividing the human race, so what is it you truly hope to achieve? If it is the regression of man, if it is further war, if it is destruction in general; then fair, but if it is truly in the interest of 'the people', then your efforts will only serve to subvert this intent." - H.R.H Michael Atrevier, Crown Prince of Greater Pacifica OOC: Note he doesn't speak for the government, he is just the prince.
[s]"Im sorry what?"[/s] "It is my personal belief that you are wrong and here's why: The vital factor you ignore is the all prevelant and persisting human spirit and will throughout our history. The soil on which we are born has been tended to, used and protected by generations of men and woman from whom we draw our ancestry, our bloodline, and our spirit. Of spirit, I mean culture, heritage, and self-determination of all races. The cycle of human evolution that you believe in is not naturally occuring, but rather braught about through the manipulation of the capitalist, imperialist systems of intigration and assimilation to open all available assets, who are the mass, for exploitation. By force we see this cycle not manifested through evolution, but through the will of those whom seek to best mold the human condition and psyche (with which for you they have succeeded) for exploitation. War has been a means for the imperialist tyrants of our world throughout history to effectively high-jack the evolutionary cycle through manipulation by all possible means. Now, when war favors the long oppressed it is a center-piece for evil and backwardsness, flaunted to the audience by the "peace-seeking" oppressors. War was an asset you used, and no longer need and so seek to end as it now only threatens to undo all your manipulative planning, and careful designs. It is from this system that the people seek to be liberated and so war persists. Do I seek war? Yes. And I am prepared to chase all imperialists, many much like yourself, to the gates of hell for the cause of liberation." -Comandante Che Guevara
15. For the first time since the revolution, Dominican citizens have popularly taken up vacational travels to Central America. This time of year is hot for travel to Himynistan where the Summer Festivals are the celebrations of legend.
16. We see the resort in West Virginia as the most secure of the two locations. Texas has a much closer proximity to the 2nd Tahoe Republic who has been teetering on yet another war. The eastern United States seems, in our opinion to be..well safer. Problems with climate will, we are certain, be addressed by the indoor climate conditioning and wouldn't the so called "high technology" that would be necessary already be ready at the location?
17. We also find no issue in the United States location proposal. You may count our vote for Green Briar Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, U.S.A.
18.
"Heh, so let me understand this. You say the dismantling of tahoe was necessary, but you say a simple protectorate, and a nation who's policies allow for even more freedom is criminal? Life in cascadia is far less repressive and divisive than under tahoe. To say otherwise is to deceive oneself. If the people rebel, it will not be a rebellion for freedom, but for the reinstitution of slavery. Beyond that, there is nothing foreign about the administration of Tahoe. Americans are looking after Americans, and what annexations there have been have been have been done by neighbors to the region. In the case of Hawaii, the Tahoan regime was in their own words, a colonial one; we of the Pacific are merely reclaiming it, and hoping to move the people forward into the prosperity we have created. " - H.R.H. Michael Atrevier, Crown Prince of Greater Pacifica
"The world hasen't forgotten your slaughter of thousands on the pacific islands. We pledge our support for the valiant struggle against global imperialist conquest, or in the case of Tahoen War, the imperialist Land Swap. There is no excuse for Pacific occupation of the islands, in the place of allowing native people's to govern themselves. You are no hero." -Comandante Che Guevara
19. We voice our strong friendship with Arturo Chavez whom has shown himself a hero in the cause of Latin American freedom, unity, and defence, but are aware of the fact that our friend was chosen to guide the protectorate lands that had become of the Republic of Tahoe. Against the will of the people, a fate has been decided and this innevitably will lead to conflict. We await to see the response to this revolution by the 2nd Tahoe republic. -Dominican Republic ***Private*** Thousands of gurrillas, an army of united men and women from all ends of Latin Ameirca, quietly begin to travel to the North in preperation for combat operations for the liberation of their North American cousins & fellow downtrodden. Dominican revolutionary commanders annonymously command the guerrilla troops.
20. Delegates from the 31 Dominican provinces converge on Santo Domingo for the 1st (official) Revolutionary People’s Assembly of the Dominican Republic to discuss issues concerning the Republic, & the Caribbean, the Americas & Latin America and current developments pertaining to such. The Revolutionary Government, top military command officials, and special guests take their seats as news teams, journalists and photographers take up positions around the auditorium. The loudspeakers echoed.. “Ladies & Gentlemen, please welcome the men and women of your Revolutionary Government.” A strong applause welcomed the members of the Dominican Revolutionary Government as they walked in line across the main floor and took their seats in the front row. Among the group where ministers of various duties for the Republic. As everyone settled, attention was again taken from the main floor, towards the doorway as a late party arrived. Che Guevara and a contingent of guerrilla officials entered the Assembly and received a late and hailing aplause. Che made his way to the front and took his seat. He was asked to take the opening statement.. Another short applause.. “We have seen in North America, cruel leaders replaced only to have new leaders turn cruel. Liberators of old have become the tyrants of new. In Cuba, Hawaii, Western, North and Central America all which were liberated from Tahoen control, are now counted among the swaths of lands and riches snatched up by the several empire’s who have benefited from a war of liberation. To mask conquest, the imperialists of our world went to every extreme, sacrificing all necessary to achieve their means of expansion. Who can say the world is better off today than the world we lived in before the War in North America? We have won victories here in the Caribbean but the fight is far from over, we have won victories in Mexico, but the struggle continues, we have won victories in North America, but the battle is just beginning..” An applause as Che hops up onto the desk and sits facing the crowd. Relaxed, determined, he continued. “This is why the Dominican Revolutionary Government are servants to the people’s will. Bound by Constitution from special or financial privileges our government officials are of and live amongst the people. A simple strategy that preserves the seats of power for the average Dominican citizen, he or she who is familiar with everyday struggles, practical solutions, and with the best interest of the island and community in mind and heart. We have seen, most recently in North America, the awakening of the world to the cause of liberation, albeit temporarily, to cut down the oppressive empire that was Tahoe. Here we have successfully preserved the light of liberation. We seek and promise to cut away the constricting grip of the serpent; liberate the world from the looming slime that threatens to consume it. Many of you have heard of an insurgency in Cuba. The first spark of revolution has fired, and the coming firestorm fanned by powerful winds of expansion of the imperialist domains is well on its way. As it burns in our hearts so will it burn into history as a truth and fact that our global revolution came, with the fall of empire."
21. "The dismantaling of the Tahoen imperialist stranglehold over the America's was necessary; but the lasting occupation and counter imperialist control over the Tahoe homeland is criminal. Proper punishment was given where due, and now in a very human moment of oppressive control, the people of Tahoe make their stand for freedom. Perhaps, it is so now that they will appreciate the struggle we have always faced as they take arms in Revolution. The people will always have the last word." -Comandante Che Guevara
22. As Che's body hit the warm water, his adrenaline calmed. His only hope was to swim west towards the Cayman Islands and catch the attention of the Himynistan Navy while avoiding detection by Louisiana. He hoped that fate was still on his side as he pushed against the rocks out to sea.. The ground seemed to erupt around the gunmen as the helicopters opened fire. In the innitial assult, 3 guerrillas where killed another was seriously injured and the last fired towards one of the choppers. There was no hope in leaving the battle alive for any of the men. To the last round he continued until throwing his rifle to the side and unfolding a Cuban flag from inside his jacket. He wrapped it around a tree trunk seconds before his body was shredded by heavy rounds. The entire makeshift encampment would be nearly demolished; every guerrilla dead.. After over an hour of swimming and no telling how much ground he'd covered, Che had resorted to floating on his back and continuing on slowly to conserve energy. His eyes scanned the darkening sky as his arms flung back and propelled his body forward.
23. Che and the small Dominican delegation mumbled amongst themselves and nodded in agreement. Che stood to speek, "The Dominican Republic is at this time largely unable to contribute a significant amount of aid in finance or resource. What we do offer is all the help we can in education of those deprived in the world, on this note we side completely with comrade, Daniel Jackson. Our revolution would have been fruitless had we not educated those who in tern would be our allies, we would have faught a pointless battle without the knowledge of what do to better, or even what was done wrong to begin with. Education of the people, downtrodden and exploited is the most powerful tool with which one can be armed. I believe in this simple fact: To counter destruction, we must creative."
24. Signed for the Dominican Republic, Ernesto Che Guevara Representative for the Revolutionary Government and people of the Dominican Republic
25. Back at the camp, the group was now aware without a doubt of open conflict erupting in the jungles not even a mile from their encampment. Small fox holes were constructed along with weak defencive measures, which everyone knew wouldn't stand long against the Louisiana forces. Che cleaned his rifle before kneeling by a tree without a word. His move would not go unnoticed.. "Comandante.." began one guerrilla, glancing at his comrades as he spoke, "We aren't going to survive this. The revolution survives not with our bullets; it survives with the dream of all revolutionaries and especially within you. The revolution cannot afford to lose you." Che glared at the guerrilla, "What are you saying, camarada? I am a soldier of the global revolution just as yourselves. I.." "No. You aren't a soldier, you are the commander. The human manifestation of our struggle. We are disposable, the struggle is not." interrupted another soldier. By now every man stood, sat up, or leaned on their rifles. Che lowered his AK and searched the ground as thoughts swirled in his head. He would be again at the shore by the time the massacre took place... As the Louisiana troops moved in the men nodded and saluted eachother silently one final time before the first burst of gunfire would begin the firefight.
