    Your right- odn feels a lot better about it.

    Bottom line, ODNs allies are burning for defending their allies against a foreign aggressor.

    a couple months from- odn will come out to the pointless, meaningless, world war- act all legitimate and show the world they will 'honor' whatever treaty saves their pixels.

    This is a real war- not a pre-fabricated yearly cycle- and odn won't come in. But if it's a doom digpile they will honor it and then their FA tool will be on TAR bragging how odn was the game changer.

    I would just like to announce, formally, that the first nukes of this conflict have been fired. Grub missed 4 times. 
     
     

     

    Thank you for your kind words.  Unfortunately, the only thing you could do to make us feel better during these tough times is to convince Llanowar Elf to leave Invicta and rogue us along with these two.

    That would put us at 17 needed to be considered a real AA by Polaris. Even though we are real right now. If someone could get on this, that would be great.

     

    Wes and Les, we shared some good times and I'll always look forward to saying hello with you guys when ever I can. That said, you've made a pretty bad mistake here and I hope you work that out.

     

    On the 'perpetual war' front, the thing every rogue and indeed yourselves forget is when you cant chose your targets it gets boring. Once out of nukes a couple of nations against you mean you only land one one each occasionally and at the end of a week they rotate out anyway. It's not a question of how long you can last with billions, heck a competent ruler can go for years on two billion. It's a question on how long you can go warring daily against people you don't even know or dislike before you just cant be bothered logging in anymore.

    We have shared some good times, buddy. No hard feelings toward you or anyone else in Polaris, except Grub. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out why. This wasn't a mistake, we did this on purpose. :D  However, I am not a rogue. I am a member of an alliance, and that alliance has declared war upon NpO, because we cannot declare war upon Grub only...unless Polaris is willing to part ways with him for a few rounds....Whaddaya say?

    I'm not 100% certain. I have a lot of ideas. It made a lot more sense yesterday. I'm sure it will all work itself out, these things usually do :)

    Aye, I can fight for years if Polar wants to, its up to them :). You really don't know what you're dealing with if you think that's meant to intimidate us zoskia :) The fact is if you do as you are threatening you will be resigning your lower tiers (30k NS and below) to perma war for years. Your response is exactly as anticipated and I look forward to fighting for a long time to come :)

    Who knows, maybe the Coffee Shock has finally spread to the CCC... THEY FEEL THE POWER!!  If that's true, you will feed them your GMO corn for not accepting Grub as lord and Senator but that probably won't be enough.

    2 years of espresso will do that to you. WE DO FEEL THE POWER!!! I am relatively certain Eatem's only got GMO corn. He's too cheap for the all natural stuff.

    I'll even go as far as to say this is mainly a Curb Stomp because those getting hit are giving up pre-emptively. Telling allies they don't need to come in, then they hope if they curl up in a ball and take a beating for a while it will end.
     
    However if TIO came in for M16, then that would give GATO incentive to get involved. ODN does for STA already. CnG can't stand up and fight anymore? Best to set the world ablaze for these global wars & try to expand. Give people a good show at least and prove yourselves to be an interesting alliance of principles. Oculus gave the other side a big favor with this second decree, rather than us waiting a very long time to see if anyone allied with M16 decide to defend them.

    This is what I've been trying to say. Each alliance has tough choices. Don't make the tough choices for them, MI6, TPF, and STA. Don't tell your allies in advance that you won't call them in. You didn't get them into this mess of conflicting treaties, their buddies in Oculus did when they jumped into a CB-Less purely aggressive war. The defense clauses SHOULD be firing off like a machine gun.

    Wes, leaving your regular alliance affiliation and forming a smaller AA and then going off to attack someone isn't the Oculus M.O.  It's ours.  Welcome to Doom Oculus, The Flying Kiwis...or should I call you Christian Bird Christian Cave? :P

    That really rare occasion I agree with Immortan Junka. 

    If I'm being completely honest, I kinda missed him. 

     

    The New Polar Order does not recognize wannabe renegades pretending to be an alliance.  You will be dealt with ad finitum until you are no more.    I personally will enjoy my small contribution to completely destroying your nations, but alas I am sure my contribution will be only short as you are passed down the left hand side.  If you wish to surrender at any time, you have only to ask me personally and I will advise you of the terms current at that point.

     

    I am glad the CCC has shed these morons once and for all..... unless they haven't in which case I would be also happy.

    The CCC is quite angry with me right now. I can only hope their rage can be controlled without my carefully steering the ship. Despite that, I have managed to convince myself that nuking you will be worth it. How did you like that defeat alert I gave you earlier?! :)

    The Flying Kiwis have flown across the waters that part Planet Bob, from the continent of CNTE...and landed in CNSE...smack dab in the middle of Grub's tree stump!  These plentiful food stores should last us for months. Jackpot!

     

    Furthermore, I encourage all Kiwis to bring renewed focus to their scattered migration habits, and come to our new home, to The Flying Kiwis on this side of Bob.     Do you like it? It is woven with the silks of slave worms, which toil away without food or water, in the care of our mighty flightless KiWi, but are too fat to fly to our home with us. Shipping rates are cheap enough, though. Actually this could be the wrong one, this probably isn't our flag, but it's around here somewhere I will find it! This is still made of slaved worm silk though. 

     

    I think that makes everything official. But I would like to say I am sorry to Polaris in advance for any inconvenience this will cause. Despite recent events the Kiwis happen to love NpO, but the Grub runs his mouth too much for his own good sometimes, so this is really a personal matter, but he is yours and you protect him despite himself, so this is our Casus Belli. But nonetheless to make sure we cross I's and dot T's, The Flying Kiwis hereby declare WAR upon the New Polar Order, especially Emperor Emeritus AlwaysMad Grub.

    Going to agree with Doch on this one. Granting ODN status as a middle man for this conflict is stretching it. Pretty clear (to me anyway) that ODN have no real influence when it comes to this war and aren't really in a position to sway the tides of it. 

    Poor choice of words on my part. Enabler, facilitator, are more what I meant. If ODN hadn't made assurances to their aggressive CB lacking allies that are now at war with STA and TPF, their aggressive CB lacking allies might have thought twice about a pre empte on TPF. But probably not. Nonetheless it is too late now.

    Why bother even having the dang treaty ties if you aren't going to use them when they matter most? This has never ever made sense to me. And If anything by stating your intentions in advance regarding the treaty you actually make it easier for the opponent, because you know ODN told NPO what STA and ODN discussed in private.

    First let me say hats off to STA. May your nukes never miss their targets. Always had great respect for you guys. 

     We discussed the upcoming war on multiple occasions long before it happened, we knew exactly where each other stood, because that is what allies do. I explained to OsRavan personally the STA would not expect or ask ODN to defend the STA in this conflict unless we were pre-emptively attacked. I hope this ends all the BS speculation regarding ODN.

    This comment struck me as strange, Slim.

    1. It seems you knew about the attack on TPF and MI6 well before it would happen...did you tell them? If not, why not?

    2. Why would you give assurances to ODN that they would be relieved of any treaty obligations at all, but besides that why you tell them in advance of an unprovoked attack on your allies? 

    3. It actually adds to the speculation regarding ODN. It makes them look like the middle man that everyone believes that they are. It appears as though your allies in ODN have enabled this to happen, and now they will stand by and watch as your alliance burns, your ally TPF burns, and their ally MI6 burns. To me, this is outrageous. 

     

    The last paragraph of your post is  dead on. 

    I agree with the second part but I have to echo LH here.

    The point is that ODN is either actively plotting a war that gets you rolled for no reason other than boredom (if were being honest because they are preemptively taking out the oppositions potential coalition) or at the very least enabling it by standing aside and putting you in a position where you have to defend an ally without even the threat of them entering for you.

    Just because they are open in communication (and old friends) doesn't mean they should be allies.

    Precisely. Doesn't look good on them at all. Why is this considered acceptable by anyone?

    You can sit here and lay out NPO signing treaties with alliances TPF sincerely didn't like, but NPO didn't force you to keep the treaty between you both, and you could of easily canceled on them.  The fact you'll were unwilling to act when it seemed obvious to you that either NPO was going a different path then you wanted, or didn't have TPF's interests in mind is no one fault but your own for just going along with it anyway.  The only difference in all this is, NPO acted when your tie with MI6 connected them to alliance they didn't want any part of, where you'll should of awhile before, and now are here complaining about it. 

     

    You decided to take a path that NPO was not a fan of, thus I don't see why one could be upset or not surprised NPO decided to cancel it.  It's purely TPF's fault if they have felt this much betrayal from NPO to have kept the treaty as long as they did, and actually took NPO to sever the tie for them.

    They are not complaining a cancellation of a treaty, my friend. Never mind the fact that alliances such as my own allies IRON are engaging in an unprovoked and completely aggressive war...The real outrage is NPO of all AA's attacking TPF with no CB, in addition to their general "meh, deal with it needs moar targets" attitude about it. Who is next?

     

    About one year ago I was fairly fond of NPO, this came after NPO reached out their hand in friendship. Then NPO decided to launch a massive and completely unprovoked attack against my Aftermath blocmates, while they were in the midst of treaty talks with us. That was low. Here we are one year later, and NPO has outdone themselves.  

     

    I'm reading all of these arguments. "TPF embrace your FA choices" "TPF you did this to yourself" "shoulda seen this coming" etc. All of these words, and it all means nothing. Why? NO CB. Unprovoked war.

    You might not have had what you deserved from us in the halls of public oratory, but you will have it in the battlefield.

    It's kinda you that doesn't get it.  NPO has left a bloody trail of former allies behind them through Planet Bob history since almost the beginning.  The question isn't "why would we want to burn for that?", the question is why did TPF think they would be treated any different than anyone previous?  When NPO is done for you, expect a shallow grave.

    It's a common testimony you will hear when talking to most any former NPO ally. To SCY's credit, it doesn't matter how many times you hear it, see it, feel it...it still never makes any more sense, and to the betrayed, it still hurts just as much. TPF's  staunch loyalty to a fault is admirable, even if NPO is taking a dump on it. Hold your head high, mighty Phoenix Federation, you are an alliance of unmatched class and character, no one can take that from you.
