  1. Oh, just be quiet and accept your honorary position as my Concubine of Solitude.
  2. Ahh...such places within my mind the thought of a cross between Solitude in either of the GOONS. Good show.
  3. I will admit that propaganda is not my strong field. But neither is it my intent. Is the public of the misconception that I hate Viridia, or that I wish to tarnish their name? No, no, no...there are multiple...better reasons for this: Those already stated, as well as my own desire to once again fight a war that seems impossible to win. I have attacked one Viridian, and in turn, I am under attack by two more, as well as one of your own. I cannot think of a more preferrable situation. In all reality...these terms presented are merely a courtesy, not some theatrical presentation. What I truly desire is for the lot of you to do whatever is in your power in an attempt to rain fire down upon me; bury me in ash. I want Viridia to show me what it can do...and given your alliance's attack, I want to see just how adept in the Force your Order really is. I hope that it is quite adept...the Sith are not far away. In return, I shall grant you all that same persistence, for as long as I can. This whole war shall last until peace is reached with the League, or until Viridia decides that it is over, whichever shall take longer...and I am more than willing to continue this into eternity. Fight well, my numerous opponents.
  4. I find it rather amusing that you seem to be of the opinion that these terms are a joke. Suit yourselves. Though you are incorrect in that assumption, I do realize that you are, by far, the most worthy opponent. I look forward to the next seven days.
  5. My forces have recently reaped $2 Million from the nation of heuristics regardless. Rest assured that my forces shall be at full readiness very soon.
  6. I am aware of the imperfection of the circle of the flag. However, that is a problem with the original flag of Viridia, and thus, this issue is best presented to them. All that was changed was the Hue/Saturation, as well as the central symbol. Edit: Added two new terms.
  7. Solitude recognizes that the masses of a collective as large as the Viridian Entente could not possibly walk the same road in the exact manner. Thus, Solitude poses to the nations of Viridia these terms for individual surrender: 1. Surrendering nations must change their Alliance Affiliation to "Seclusion", and shall remain until war's end, or upon the passing of one month from the first day of wearing the AA. 2. Surrendering nations are not to aid, be it militarily or financially, the Viridian Entente, any of its involved allies, past, present, and future, or any miscellaneous forces opposed to Solitude, the Federated Allied Independence League, or the Global Defence Initiative until war's end, or upon the passing of one month from the first day of wearing the "Seclusion" AA. 3. Surrendering nations are not to own more than three nuclear weapons, each, until war's end, or upon the passing of one month from the first day of wearing the "Seclusion" AA. Those that carry an amount exceeding that must decommission them as quickly as possible. 4. Surrendering nations are not to have a soldier count exceeding an equivalent of 40% of their citizen population count until war's end, or upon the passing of one month from the first day of wearing the "Seclusion" AA. 5. Any violations of the above will result in a continuation of hostilities. 6. These terms also apply to any of Viridia's allies should they choose to enter the war. 7. These terms are in addition to any terms presented by the Federated Allied Independence League, the Global Defence Initiative, or any other party that seeks to involve itself in the war in favor of this faction. As well... Though Seclusion will not have that specific flag, I bow to Hell Scream and his idea, and forth do I present the Flag of Seclusion: And with that, I ratify the above as words spoken in truth. 8. I am not here fighting a Revolution out of some perception of unjust oppression.
  9. A Myriad of Calls from those in Solitude In all truth, Solitude has been in sporadic existence since the disbandment of Vox Populi. Something of a transitional Affiliation, it has been occupied by various rulers at various periods in various shapes and forms, the most recent being "Blissful Solitude." With this, however, it has returned to its original name, and now, after a landslide vote, it has a flag to call its own. This is an Affiliation for wanderers, refugees, and mercenaries. It carries no Charter, no Government save for myself, no Forum, no specific Color Affinity, and no Channel on any Internet Relay Chat Network. It merely...is, and thus, any nation is welcome to wear it as if it were their own (at their own risk). The following shall be the first Calls from those in Solitude... First Call Solitude hereby recognizes the validity of the new Moldavi Doctrine, presented recently by the Dark Lord Ivan Moldavi, representing the New Sith Order. Though it does not belong to Solitude, Solitude hereby undertakes its articles and values as if they were its own. Second Call Though there be no treaty or writ to confirm this is as official, Solitude hereby asserts that it needs no such thing; Solitude hereby declares the Crimson Guard its Blood Ally, and should the latter find itself beset by foes, for any reason, Solitude, if in the condition to do so, shall render military, financial, and/or diplomatic assistence to the Guard to the best of its ability. Regarding conflicts in which the Guard is the aggressive party, Solitude will choose to do so, or not to do so, at its own discretion. Solitude would, however, prefer to note that it has no aversion to making such policies official via a treaty. Third Call Solitude hereby recognizes His Holiness Rebel Virginia as the rightful Savior of Digiterra, and thus, should the Federated Allied Independence League find itself beset by foes, for any reason, Solitude, if in the condition to do so, shall render military, financial, and/or diplomatic assistence to the League to best of its ability. Regarding conflicts in which the League is the aggressive party, Solitude will choose to do so, or not to do so, at its own discretion. Solitude would, however, prefer to note that it has no aversion to making such policies official via a treaty. Fourth Call Recognizing both the First and the Third Calls, as well as my own desire for an impossible war, Solitude hereby offers its military support for the Federated Allied Independence League through a declaration of open war upon the Viridian Entente, as well as any of the latter's allies should they choose to enter the current conflict. May His Holiness Rebel Virginia have mercy upon your souls, for those in Solitude shall have none. And with that, I ratify the above as words spoken in truth. Bird of Passage, Wandering Mercenary The Bird then continued upon the grey, secluded path that he walked endlessly.
  10. Hmm...a bit too "cartoony." Such does not suit my palette, though I do grant to you kudos for arriving with something.
  11. I have just added another poll option for what I think is an improved form of the Original Version. I did not edit anything but the shadow, which is now much less pretentious, methinks. To those who already voted, if you wish to switch your vote to Version 2, merely specify through post. Thank you.
  12. Note: Any similarities to existing flags are purely coincidental, and are not meant to plagiarise appearances, concepts, or meanings.
  13. I would advise that you refrain from voting...or, feel free to post a flag of your own.
  14. Original Version Humility Version Version 2 I cannot decide. Note: I may or may not ignore the results of this poll. However, I do value the opinion of the masses in this instance.
  15. Solitude is a rather informal Alliance Affiliation that is used only by myself. While I would allow anyone to use it, it has no Charter, IRC Channel, or Forums associated with it. Of course, I may always consider changing that, but for now, I serve as unofficial support for the Crimson Guard, and merely wish to assert that I have no interest in warring the Green Protection Agency. All of that said, I am glad to see that your Declaration of Neutrality is still an existing, valid document. Godspeed.
  16. Is this document open? If so... Signed for Solitude Bird of Passage, Wandering Mercenary
  17. ...and the memories truly are something great. Oh, how I long for another Revolution...but I daresay, I was deeply satisfied...and proud...of this one. Whoever on that list still resides on this planet...never lose that mentality that drove you to fight for freedom. Godspeed.
  18. You are right...that is rare...but I suppose that I can agree with you in this context.
  19. Apologies, but I must concur with ModusOperandi. Love is a fragile thing, at best. The smallest mishap can shake its foundations, especially in regard to politics. In people, it is fickle and misunderstood...though I suppose one cannot rightly cast blame on another for that, given that one cannot completely understand love. Such, however, only lends more truth to the nonexistence of true love. Love can be strong...but it cannot hold infallible truth.
  20. Ahh, the measures that are taken to reduce factionalism. I favor war; however, I suppose that the Red Sphere is not required to be stained with its own color. Though I hold to the possibility that this may be a positive step, I shall hold my applause until there is some semblance of growth, as well as the end of Karma's terms to Pacifica. Godspeed.
  21. The irony of such would depend upon what occurred first. Either way, he will die again, and then rise again, and then die...and rise...so long as he attempts to be both the villain and the protagonist.
  22. ...and this is why, baseballer, catering to the masses is fruitless. I leave those who arrive here to interpret that in whatever way they choose.
  23. The most decisive quality that people in general have is the ability to be indecisive. Can people change? That is the wrong question, for people change at every interval, be it out of convenience, or some sudden attack of conscience (which, in turn, may still only be for convenience, or some crutch to lean on to avoid the burning words of those around them). Is redemption possible? No...not completely, at least, for redemption is always placed in the hands of the beholder. There are those that emphasize the future, and those that emphasize the past. Those mentalities are that which guide their principles, and the latter will always carry a sliver of doubt, wheras the former will continue to be naïve. The present is irrelevent, for it takes less than a millisecond for it to become the past. In a political climate, it is never good to give people the benefit of the doubt...a second chance, if you will, especially if you are a leader. It is the moral thing, but it will oft keep you in the ground. The most effective players are the cold, calculating, cynical people that see others as tools to use for their own ends, and foreign powers as potential shields for the onslaught of those who would claim a moral high ground, again, most likely out of convenience.
