1. Classified As per request of the Council of Shields, the Stormlands Air Force has responded with a report on significant progress in "the completion of the Stormlands' operational satellite constellation", the network "committed to the facets of the national security and defense of the nation". Utilizing the old refurbished facilities at Fort Paez, the Air Forces, in conjunction with several state administrations, have put dozens of satellites into orbit over the past year and a half to build up the orbital presence of the Stormlands. Most of these satellites have been aimed at increasing the secure communications and datalinks abilities of being able to communicate with Stormlands forces, if they ever have to be put abroad or are on patrol in far regions of the world. Secure communications are ensured through the use of standard twelve-hour rotating keywords that establish the encryption patterns, and set patterns for that time, and all datalinks are secured through multiple level passcode entries that compartmentalize communications completely. With the new constellation of satellites, the Stormlands are able to quickly communicate and relay information to globally-deployed forces when and if needed, and provide the necessary infrastructure to support extensive combat operations between a theater of operations and the homeland. These satellites are supplemented by meteorological satellites built specifically for monitoring weather systems and providing often-overlooked, but important weather data that could be game-changing in any situation of warfare. Similarly, navigational satellites provide directional guidance for military systems, utilizing encrypted code to transmit to a receivers' location and provide accurate navigational data for both troops navigating on the ground, ships at sea, aircraft in the air, and of course, weapon systems. These satellites are supplemented by satellites belong to both the Air Forces, as well as the Administration of Internal Affairs, these satellites handling strategic reconnaissance and monitoring to provide the nation with data meant to ensure the protection of the nation. These include high-resolution imaging/SAR satellites for photo reconnaissance in low earth orbit, as well as air and sea traffic monitoring. Interception satellites, built specifically for communication collection and dissemination, are operated by the Administration of Internal Affairs for monitoring and surveillance purposes, and are typically stationed on tracks over the nation during peacetime. Able to monitor both civilian and military grade transmissions, they are an asset that can alert authorities to impending internal or external threats to security, and provide a measure of use in counterespionage and counterintelligence operations. Other satellites on station are to provide monitoring for ballistic missile launches and tracking, as well as monitoring launches into orbit and locations of such deployments and "tag" the new orbital arrivals to track other nations' satellites, particularly low-earth-orbits for countering intelligence missions over the Stormlands. The deployments of these large numbers of satellites also comes with similar deployments of space track facilities within the Stormlands' borders itself, which monitor orbital movement of satellites over the nation for obvious reasons. The active temporary real time "blinding" of satellites over major military installations is ongoing, and efforts to prevent photo reconnaissance of key military installations is one of the Air Forces' unspoken duties. Many military installations employ simple overhead canopies along the tarmac flight line, particularly at air bases, to mask aircraft deployments and locations, and most aircraft, when not in the air, are under these canopies, in hangers, or in their respective reinforced shelters that dot the edges of bases. Given that strategic assets such as surface-to-surface conventional ballistic weapons are all road-mobile within the Stormlands, these vehicles are relatively easy to hide with simple camouflage netting and move under the cover of darkness to rotating deployment sites or are kept at their bases in storage facilities.

3. A relatively inconspicuous car would be provided for transit to the foothills, and indeed, outskirts of Stormsend, where the Rook's Keep was located. Scattered throughout the hills were the homes of important government officials for the most part, relatively modest haciendas or futuristic-looking houses that all afforded a well-appointed view of the Stormlands' capital. This district was well protected by elements of the internal security services, as well as appointed members of the armed forces with the professed mission of protecting the most important leaders that the Stormlands had. The Rooks Keep sat at the top of the drive, on a fairly high point of land that offered some of the best views of the surrounding area, and gated off from the rest of the community, but despite the relatively amazing view and security offered, the residence itself was relatively modest. Boasting a relatively large porch area, the residence seemed to be small in size compared to most residences that hosted the heads of state, the view offered to the Lord Protector was spectacular however. The cool air of the foothills was starting to sink in more as evening was approaching, and the twinkling lights of the capital spread out below could be seen in the valley below, a sea of light, concrete and glass that practically lit up the night. The Quebecois leader would be led by a female aide, clad in a toga, who had met her at the car, down to the Lord Protector's residence, walking towards a stairway that would lead onto the balcony. Rounding a corner onto the main facade of the balcony, a fire contained in an outdoor fireplace was burning brightly, offering some warmth against the cool, heavy air. When Liselotte Wiltord rounded the corner, she would also catch the eye of the only figure on the balcony, which was Rafael Sha'am, leaning against the balcony railing and looking out at the city. The aide would dismiss herself quietly, as Rafael turned to assess his Quebecois counterpart, bringing a fist up to his chest, and bowing his head slightly. "Madame Wiltord, I presume?" he asked, in a low tone that matched the quiet evening air that surrounded both of them. "Its an honor to host you."
4. "The Stormlands congratulates its new southern neighbor, the Empire Brazil, upon achieving independence, and hopes that it contributes positively to the stability and prosperity of South American, and the Hemisphere in general."
5. The letter dispatched by Liselotte Wiltord to the desk of the Lord Protector was one that sparked a fair amount of debate amongst the highest echelons of High Council, particularly amongst Rafael Sha'ams so-called 'National Security Board', made up of a number of officials including both civilians and military leaders. This group was particularly important in the formation of the Stormlands foreign policy, and there were a number of concerns pressed by members over whether a meeting would compromise the neutrality of the Stormlands as the mediator of any outstanding peace talks. In the end, it would come down to the decision of Rafael to receive the request of the Quebecois leader and bless it with a positive response. Leaning on his Executor of the Exterior for assistance in the matter, Taman Volcer would sit down with the Lord Protector before the meeting to establish a line of discussion that would hopefully maintain the Stormlands' balanced approached to mediating the crisis in North America. With the movements of the foreign delegations in the Stormlands being of course kept tabs on, and actively protected, a sealed letter would find its way back to Liselotte in short order.
6. Taman would take the opportunity on the ride in from Khartoum's airport to take stock of some notes compiled by the Administration of the Exterior prior to his arrival in Sudan, whilst taking in his surroundings. From what he understood, the relatively new African nation was one that was on the move, and active diplomatically, the latter point was something that was notable to the Stormlands. The South American nation had had little diplomatic dealings since its inception, and it was truly starting to look outward now, after establishing a relatively stable reputation amongst the American nations that neighbored it. This would be the first foray to Africa, and for an ambitious minister overseeing the external affairs of a nation, Taman Volcer certainly did not hope it would be its last foray. Arriving in the courtyard of Samara's residence, he noted the relative extravagance, and smiled wistfully to himself as the vehicle stopped, and he would step out of it once the door opened. He brought a fist up to his chest and bowed his head slightly, in typical Stormlander fashion when meeting a foreign dignitary, "Thank you for your courtesy, Chancellor Samara. The Lord Protector of the Stormlands sends his regards with me, thank you for receiving me."
7. The idea of killing leaders, or characters for that matter, has always been controversial, and I think that a situation like Triyun describes, where you have a character who comes out as willing to sacrifice millions for his own personal glory, is where a new rule would run afoul. I would want to kill or apprehend that character if I was faced off with them, especially if they're committing some sort of heinous war crime, or mass killing political dissidents or something like that. I think there is a bit of a disconnect between people who want to stop character killing, and why it is happening. To be honest, there haven't been large numbers of character killings in some time now, and a number of them have been for fairly legitimate reasons. The matter of killing characters in terms of the rules, as a precedent set down by past GMs, is if its a kill/apprehend movement, basically you have to lock down all manner of escape to them. Its fairly hard to kill a character in CNRP, if the person who has the character has take appropriate measures to safeguard themselves against attack or otherwise. Likewise, if you're putting a character at the head of a military movement, you're inherently putting them in the line of danger, and if the person who counters that person being in that frontline atmosphere states that with fairly certifiable evidence of measures taken to do so, they can claim a character kill. That's always been my interpretation. I think character killing has a place here, especially if that character has given certifiable reason to die. Killing other peoples' characters is a relatively ugly business, but I don't think it should be wholesale outlawed down to where you have to ask someone to kill off their character. Especially if its a meglomaniac, surrounded in a building with no escape routes, and the order to level it, and then burn the rubble is about to be given. I will gladly take on character-kill disputes as a GM, but I do not support wholesale blanket coverage of having the characters' creator decide whether they die or not. We shouldn't have to regulate this with a rule.
8. Private Through a stupor of haze from the eyes, and a splitting ache in the head, the sound of a certain tune that was somewhat familiar to Rafael Sha'am dragged him out of dreams and a fitting sleep. His hand sought out the source of the sound, hoping to either crush whatever the sound was in his hand, or at least quell it, his hand smacking at the table beside his relatively large bed. He felt a slight chill from the open door beside his bed, leading out onto the large balcony of his residence, and he grumbled something about cool jungle nights, before his fingers found the source of the sound. He grasped it, his eyes opening as he held up his mobile phone, that linked into the secure encrypted mobile network of his residence before transmitting or receiving, to ensure he had secure communications with whoever he spoke. His eyes, bleary but focusing a little, recognized the name, and he heaved a loud, audible sigh, that elicited a moan from a blanket-covered form next to him. He looked at the form for a minute, trying to piece together the night before, his ears still ringing slightly from the blaring sounds of the speakers that were blaring music at the concert he had attended, having joined several dozen of his younger aides and staffers who had surrounded him in the event. It had been a raucous affair, and he probably had some bruises as a result of the large numbers of people around him, from the sheer crush of the crowd, it had been a nightmare for his security, but it boosted his morale and got him out in the general public. He hit the receive button on his phone and held it up to his ear, "Yeah?" "Lord Protector, its Fetter," boomed the voice of Fetter Childress, the Exector of Internal Affairs, a man with a voice that could perhaps kill him at this point. "Ungh, inside... inside voices, Exectuor Childress," groaned Rafael, holding the phone away from his ear quickly. "I apologize my lord, I am sorry to bother you, I am aware you had a late night," apologized Fetter, in a lighter tone, that Rafael could begrudgingly accept. "If this is about last night, I already got a lecture from your protection detail, I don't need another one from y-." "Its not about last night, my lord," interrupted Fetter, stopping the head of state. "Fine, so what are you phoning me at...," started Rafael, looking over at the clock. "Four-fourty-eight in the morning for? I thought my office hours were six to six now for the winter months?" "Unfortunately for you, sir, even hard-rocking Lord Protectors never truly have actual 'hours', you're a parent of a newborn, perpetually always on call," chuckled Fetter, causing Rafael to smirk and roll his eyes. "I think I'll use that example whenever anyone asks me what I could compare my job to, now, you have something for me? Or are you just calling me to give me material for when I have to explain my job to people in layman's terms?" grumbled Rafael, rubbing his fingers over his eyes. He found a spot of stickiness on the right side of his temple, and then sniffed his fingers, instantly crinkling his nose when he detected a faint, but telltale smell of hard liquor. This left him wondering for a split second when and how he got this, when he was interrupted by Fetter clearing his throat, and the sound of papers shuffling. "As you are aware, my lord, we were investigating several representatives, popular ones, from the southern reaches of the Southlands, we had some allegations that there was misrepresentation and some disloyal activity in the region. We just had a crack in the case, and we have some serious concerns on hand now. If you remember, there was an Archbishop in the southern reaches, Mendoza, who has been speaking out against the religion of the state leaders, we've already spoken to him about his fiery rhetoric, he toned it down recently. Unfortunately, he toned it down, because he's been making inroads with two representatives to the Grand Council of the Free Citizens, Culcera, and Hert, which extends down to the Great District Assembly as well, with several representatives from the area, as well as wardens in the region," explained Fetter, seemingly reading from a report. "So, he's made inroads with Culcera and Hert? That doesn't make them culpable for anything for being associative with him, personal relationships are not frowned upon," asked Rafael, frowning as he listened to Fetter. "That's the problem, sir, we dug a little deeper, we have unfiled reports of voter fraud in the southern reaches of the Southlands that got shoveled under the table, logs of complaints from rural workers who aren't getting paid enough and possible abuses by employers. A relatively large number of urbanites support the representatives, both to the Great District Assembly, and the Grand Council of Free Citizens, but even there, it seems as though there are reports of bribery by local corporations for government-allocated funds that will better their businesses. There's a whole slew of allegations here sir, mountains of them, systemic corruption, and the representatives are well-entrenched as well, with the security forces, as well as with a well-knit community of supporters," continued Fetter, making Rafael sit up on an elbow as his mind started to tick. "So not only do we have systemic mass fraud and misuse of public funding, as well as possible public rights allegations, we also have to face that this is entrenched and well-supported," murmured Rafael, biting his lower lip as he thought for a moment. "Correct, sir, this is a problem, especially with local security forces involved with this entire system," responded Fetter, who sighed on the other end of the line. "Contact Rhaemon, I need you to brief him immediately on the situation, and inform him that I would like to hear from him around, lets say, seven-thirty. Your office has done a good job investigating this, Executor Fetter, I need you to work with my Fist now, to deal with this unacceptable situation," ordered Rafael, his voice taking on a more assertive tone, more typical of the Lord Protector. "Thank you, I will do so immediately, my lord. Enjoy the rest of your night, if that is possible, I apologize again fo-." "Your apology is unneeded, Executor, I will speak to you in short order." "Good night, sir." Rafael sighed as he lay back on the pillow, with a heaved sigh, putting the phone down noisily, causing another moan from the form beside him, and he pursed his lips, and grasped the sheets, and pulled them back. The pulling back of the covers revealed an almost alabaster-skinned Priestess of Thaksus, admittedly Rafael's most favored cult, for obvious reasons, from the pantheon of the gods, looking up at him through bleary eyes, her face breaking into a smile when he looked at her. Her blonde hair, rife with light blue turquoise highlights, fashioned specifically for the show they had gone to, was askew. "And its times like these that I pity the Fist of the Protector," chuckled Rafael, with a smirk on his face as he pulled the covers over both he and the priestess this time around.
9. Classified As per orders from the Council of Shields, as outlined by the 'First Stormyear Defense Forecast', another facet of progress that was to go into effect was effectively managing and surveiling the Stormlands air and sea approaches. To do this, overarching long range radar would be needed to manage both air and surface approaches, whilst being supported by more tactical systems and civilian radar systems. The result of studies by the Stormlands National Technical University at Stormsend, along with a design team from Condor Aerospace, would be the "Spyglass" Multistatic Over-the-Horizon radar. Utilizing multiple receivers and transmitters with a relatively low transmission power rate, but with enhanced signals processing and highly advanced electronics. This is coupled with utilizing relatively low radio frequency, averaging around 15 MHz, but varying as low as five, and as high as thirty, which is low compared to both civilian and other military radars. The radar network can be utilized for both air and surface search missions, and is well suited for anti-ballistic missile cooperative engagement missions, counter-stealth air search, and general air defense. For optimal frequency transmissions, a highly advanced ionosonde network was developed to provide a real-time map the ionosphere every five minutes, which then dictates the frequency at which the radars should operate at for optimal performance. The Spyglass system can be used in conjunction, or, in a situation for whatever reason the network goes down, be replaced temporarily by the Stormlands Ground Forces' Starsearch Monostatic tactical OTH system. This system is road-mobile, and can be set up within four hours of arrival on site after tower erection and electronics and signals processing is complete. This system is able to provide a highly detailed picture of the airspace around the site within a thousand kilometer diameter. The Spyglass OTH Network is also supplemented by a newly-deployed high frequency surface wave radar system, used for monitoring sealane approaches and managing seaspace defenses and surveillance capabilities. In an intense effort to bolster aerial defenses against penetration attacks from the air, particularly into the interior of the nation, which gives the Stormlands its overall strategic depth, the National Technical University at Stormsend has also begun work with the Air Forces to deploy the Tripwire Counter Penetration Radar Network. This network of large numbers of relatively cheap receivers and transmitters is built as a counter-aerial-siege method to whittle down penetration raids by aircraft and missiles, including stealth/low-observable weapons, by analyzing backscatter and "voids" caused by the passage of aircraft and weaponry. The system is extremely hard to eliminate, and relatively easy to maintain and procure, and can dispatch high-speed surface-to-air, or through cooperative engagement systems, air-to-air missiles or interception forces to deal with a threat. Although only useful against targets that actually penetrate the radar beam paths, it is to be an important asset in the countering of aerial raids that intend to penetrate the country.
10. "We're hoping to see biofuels help with providing funding for the agricultural sector, its definitely not an ailing sector of our economy, but its one that needs some adjustment and work. There are lots of incentives for farmers and small agribusiness syndicates provided by the government to give more efficiency to crop output. The Administration of Progressive National Development has been working tirelessly with a pharmaceutical company to synthesize a much more safe pesticide that will be naturally-based, but not harmful to the environment, beyond killing insects that afflict the crops. This goes hand in hand with what I've heard are efforts to strengthen the Stormlands' honey bee populations to improve pollination rates and ultimately help with continued high productivity of crops," stated Rafael, as he held on tight to the railing above him. The approach the monorail was taking into Stormsend provided them all with views of the outer districts of the capital, with large condominium rises that had large amounts of glass for their facades, to permit natural light. Large window boxes built into the building that could be tended to by the tenants had explosions of green that would leaf up and out over the edge of the boxes. These large condo towers were spaced relatively well apart from one another, and surrounded by large amounts of trees and shrubbery, with large paths to walk and recreate on, and space for all to run, play, and enjoy themselves. These were typical residences for workers in the city itself, and the condominiums were relatively large, able to comfortable host a small developing family. Rafael would explain a few of these attributes and the requirements of the national urban building codes to the princess just to give her an idea of what she was looking at. These were essentially suburbs "rethought", without the large numbers of private homes and small plots of land that were hardly worth anything for anyone. These condos provided a new sense of community, and coed sports organizations and competitions between towers was relatively high, and this sense of fun, but competitive spirit was stoked by local municipal leaders. Taman would listen to the princess attentively, and nod his head as he listened, keeping a fairly strong eye contact with her as she spoke, whilst Rafael seemed to go to and from keeping eye contact. "Well, I'm quite glad that things are going smoothly, and I wish you well in integrating your new territory into the rest of your nation. Such matters are more a question of time rather than anything, people learn to accept new laws and sovereignty, patience by the new integrator is the best trait one can have, I believe," smiled Taman, a little knowingly. "There are a few internal issues of our own, including tackling some allegations of corruption in the southern reaches of the Southlands Commonwealth. This might be apt to cause some strife, but we're hoping to deal it a solid blow in the coming weeks," offered Taman, speaking on some recent news from the southern part of the Stormlands. "Personally, I'd love to hear more about your progress in orbital research. The Stormlands has been very busy preparing space launch facilities, which have already begun to put up satellites into space. We're hoping to send up more than that, and we very much look forward it," stated Rafael, zeroing in on the topic of space research and progression.
11. Wholeheartedly agreed, and a caveat that everyone should try to live by here.
12. Open Statement "The Stormlands once again reiterates its willingness to host and mediate any peace talks that will end this unfortunate situation in North America. We can only hope for a lasting peace to come out of this terrible conflict that has effected millions, and whose effects have been felt across the hemisphere." From the High Offices of the Lord Protector Sha'am
13. After a positive reply was received from Sudan, Taman Volcer would arrange a government flight to the Eastern African nation within the coming days, and give advance to his hosts of his arrival. After four days time, the Stormlands' Executor of the Exterior would depart from Stormsend for a jaunt 'across the pond' to Africa, the government airliner bearing him, also featuring an elaborate color scheme, designed as part of a contest to paint various Stormlands government aircraft with art from entrants in high school art contests. Upon approaching Sudanese airspace, the Stormlands airliner would make necessary radio checks with Khartoum as it prepared to cross the border from Athenian protectorate space into the African nation.
14. "The Stormlands has numerous energy projects and studies that are ongoing, some of which involve fusion power which will hopefully bear fruit within the next year or so. We have slashed petrolchemical production rates by a considerable amount as we move towards becoming less dependent on it ourselves, whilst retaining our national reserves. The exports we still continue to do, provide plenty of funding to the government nonetheless, especially after a reorganization of the energy industry allows for profits to go to more useful investments, rather than corporate pockets," noted Rafael, taking hold of an overhead bar as the monorail began to lurch forward after all were aboard. "Many automotive producing companies have begun moving towards providing smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles to the general public, and the government is trying to limit the sales of larger vehicles for obvious reasons. I daresay I believe the move has done much to reduce air pollution in several of our metropolises, and I hope that trend continues to move in such a direction," he continued. "I daresay that the Stormlands was honored that you and the American Commonwealth gave us the opportunity to provide the observers on the Mexican Referendums, individuals within my administration, as well as the Administration of the Interior were quite proud to provide their services to work as election officials for those purposes," stated Taman, when Rafael was done responding to the Princess. "How fares the new additions to Tikal? How fares Tikal in general nowadays? I, of course, get my own reports of news from within nations from my staffers, but I believe it far better to hear these sorts of things from an individual involved in the day to day governing of a nation itself."
15. "Of course, that is entirely acceptable," responded Taman, quickly turning to a few of his aides and conferring with them quickly in hushed tones, before the aides about-faced and headed back to the terminal. "The convoy that bore us to the airport shall bring your servants and your four guards to the Hall of Righteousness, they will be given any assistance needed to prepare whatever you need done." "Stormsend was designed as a very 'green' city, Your Highness, the High Council has put a strong emphasis on what we like to call the 'circle economy'. We try to waste very little, Stormsend itself this year alone, has attained a five percent solid waste target. Everything else is recycled or reused elsewhere, the government takes great interest in ensuring whatever materials can be reused, are done so in the most effective way possible. Companies and corporations have been very eager to help us, as it cuts down on their procurement costs," explained Rafael, in a polite tone as they rounded a corner, where a high speed monorail train sat on the tracks. "Obviously one of the hassles of air travel, as most people have found, is finding affordable parking that is close to the terminal, the monorail was put in to alleviate this and stop the usage of cars as a main mode of transit to and from the airport. Similar initiatives are in progress all over the country, and as long as you can get your luggage to a station entrance, their are transit assistants ready to help move luggage to a train," he continued, as the doors to the monorail slid open, the cars devoid of other passengers, as it was reserved for the dignitaries. "We'll be stopping by a facility that helps us glimpse our goal of a society that has to procure little for itself in the way of raw materials, when it can recycle so much," noted Taman, as they stepped aboard.
16. With the situation in West Africa clearly now on the road to stability, the Dahromo battle group was ordered back to Trinidad City, along with any additional assets that had been dispatched when the situation in Sierra Leone had come to light. The Grockall battle group would continue its normal patrol station east of the Catatumbo Commonwealth, shielding the east coast due to the continuing conflicts within the Atlantic theater. Stormlands Air Forces' assets were stood down in lieu of the ongoing peace talks and the situation appearing to be under control. Several tactical and operational commanders would be lauded for the readiness shown by their units and vessels in light of the crisis, and would be appropriately commended in their service files.
17. Both Rafael and Taman brought their fists up over their hearts and bowed slightly in respectful salute. "It is an honor to make your acquaintance your highness," responded Taman, with a smile, his intense blue eyes and hawk-like features seemingly lightening when he spoke to her for the first time. "Our itinerary has us making a couple detours before having a light lunch and meeting at the Hall of Righteousness. If you or your entourage need anything, please, let me or one of my aides know, you are here as our honored guest, and we'd like to sustain our reputation of frank hospitality intact. I hope that not proceeding to the meeting right away is agreeable to you?" Whilst they were talking, Rafael and Taman had begun to usher the Princess and her staff, along with their own entourage, to a set of escalators heading down into the lower bowels of the huge airport, at the bottom of the escalators, long corridors abounded, designed to handle the huge influx and outflow of travelers. These were the tunnels that led to the highly efficient monorail system that ran into Stormsend from the airport, which would be their main mode of transportation, instead of having to suffer through the use of large numbers of vehicles. Movement by the monorail was much faster than any jaunt out onto the highways that led into the Stormlands' capital. Despite being underground, the corridors were painted with bright colors with very elaborate designs, to provide more light within the hallways and seemingly detract from the darker nature of typical underground corridors.
18. I'm still waiting for PD to make me out to be a Pizza the Hutt type character, except, I'm made out of popcorn and slushies. Where am I in all this?! :(
19. Well hopefully, Lyser gets better soon. If an autoadvance needs to be worked out, appropriate movements and actions will be discussed.
20. Upon crossing over into Stormlands airspace, the modified Concorde bearing the Princess would be joined by a duo of high-speed stealth fighters to provide escort into the Stormlands, the arrival of these aircraft that would form a loose escort pattern on either side of the aircraft would be announced over open radio channels before they approached. Upon closing in on Stormsend, the Concorde would be given landing instructions and direction, with the aircraft being given a priority status by air traffic control, which basically cleared the skies over Stormsend's airport upon the arrival of the high-speed jetliner. Breaking off from their charge, the fighters that provided escort waggled their wings in a friendly fashion before peeling off to head back to base, whilst the jetliner made its approach at the airport. Once on the ground, the aircraft was directed towards the main terminal for docking with an air bridge which connected the terminal with the aircraft. This air bridge led to a special part of the terminal devoted specifically to the receiving of foreign dignitaries and special guests that the government had to the city, elaborately decorated with themes from around the world, with large flags of both Tikal and the Stormlands hanging side by side on the wall opposite the air bridge exit. Waiting for the Princess and her entourage as she disembarked, would be both Rafael Sha'am, and Taman Volcer, wearing their typical outfits comprising a toga with a flag draped across the front and pinned together over their heart. An honor guard comprising soldiers from the High Guard of the Hall of Righteousness were present, dressed in elaborately decorated purple uniforms, with ceremonial swords strapped to their belts, and drill rifles held stiffly in front of them. A large gaggle of aides and staffers were also present behind both Rafael and Taman. Upon the Princess stepping off the air bridge, Rafael stepped forward, "Its a honor to see you again, Your Highness, I'm glad that you chose to join us once again."
21. With the Stormlands Navy on alert, and two carrier battle groups monitoring the situation farther to the south between the Draka and the Cape, shielding the eastern portions of the Catatumbo Commonwealth, the movement of these assets would not be lost. Large movements of aircraft and ships were not easy to mask, and picket AWACs operating from the Dahromo would confirm the movements of military assets through the region. Although little was thought of the ships, it was when large numbers of aircraft moved to support them actively, which raised alarm bells in Stormsend. After various exchanges of encrypted communication bursts with the capital, the Council of Shields would task the Dahromo Battle Group to track eastward toward these movements, the battle group consisting of the carrier Dahromo, a heavy cruiser, four destroyers, four frigates, two light surface combatants, and three submarines, two diesel AIPs and one nuclear attack hunter-killer. To reinforce its position in the Central Atlantic, a combat action group with four destroyers and four more frigates, and six light surface combatants, along with a guided missile submarine and five diesel AIPs, would move at flank speed out of Trinidad City, to reinforce the Dahromo as necessary. The Grockall carrier battle group continued its screening position east of the Catatumbo Commonwealth, and if needed, and would move into position to support the Dahromo, if needed. The Stormlands Air Forces would also dispatch two Thunder Strategic Bombers equipped with surveillance equipment towards the Dahromo, to reconnoiter and assess the large-scale movements. Further, two more squadrons of the bombers, these being readied with combat armaments, would prepare for immediate dispatch from Trinidad City to support anti-surface operations. The target of this movement of aircraft would be revealed minutes after the Dahromo got her "marching" orders, when sensors on board picket aircraft for the Dahromo, as well as long range patrol aircraft in escort began picking up the operations that were beginning in Sierra Leone. The Dahromo began immediate combat air operations to ensure the aerial security of the carrier, and the battlegroup went to immediate battle stations. Within an hour of the attack beginning, a broadcast would be put out on internationally-broadcast television, and a missive was dispatched from the Stormlands' diplomatic staff in Gabon to its government seat.
22. As per standard GM policy; weeaboos have to wait three weeks before getting an auto. Sorry bro.
