Not everybody has their clocks synced up. Unless you sync them regularly (at least weekly) they can start to run a few minutes away from each other.

Suffering could mean being ostracized by the community, being ridiculed for your past actions/current inaction, any number of things. It doesn't necessarily mean war.

Outside of the "and they need to leave the game" line (which is being debated), I don't see any intention to do you harm (By proxy or otherwise), just that you need to change your ways because, in his opinion, they don't fly anymore (whether that is true or not is a topic for another thread) . I don't see anything malicious about saying a nation needs to evolve, especially when you include the part about Ragnarok and Polar both evolving and becoming allies. Edit: Making it clearer

Agreed. War all you want, but don't attempt to disband a community by using underhanded tactics and treachery. Anybody who does so deserves the full consequences for those actions.

Maybe it's just me being tired, but Seems like it means you agree that it is invalid. Perhaps you should say And yeah, a lot of this (just like most wars) could've easily been avoided if they had come clean in the first place. The deception back then doesn't help their protests of innocence now.

It's not new. During the Karma War, nearly every discussion devolved into "YEAH WELL YOU'RE JUST AS BAD AS US". I can't speak for my alliance, but it seems to me that none of the nations involved want to control Bob like Hegemony did. One side just doesn't want to be infiltrated and attacked from within, the other wants to lawyer their way out of any consequences for their actions.

I'm pretty sure the general Japanese populace didn't know about the planning of the Rape of Nanking or the planning of the attack on Pearl Harbor by Old Earth's country of Japan, but they sure as hell paid for it. Similarly, the general populace of nations in Bob's alliances pay for the actions of their leaders. It sucks, it isn't fair, but that's the way it goes. The little guy always gets squashed while the big guys sit back and watch the fireworks.
