Announcement from the United Earth Directorate
Notice of disbandment
The United Earth Directorate has shared a relatively short span of history on the Red team. Born out of the turmoil and chaos of the Karma War, UED was one of the first new alliances on the Red team - such an endeavor proved to be a very difficult one. Our first couple of months were of internal reorganization, inner-team disagreements, and near isolation on the world stage.
After the ascension of King Death II, and the signing of Solidarity, the Directorate went on a completely new path. The promise of team unity, international recognition, and economic prosperity was a lot to chew - unfortunately King Death II couldn't live up to those promises. After many internal debates, CN forum trollfests, and general bad governance by that of KD's government, we rose up.
In the coup of Premier King Death II, we hoped to create a new Directorate - fix the many mistakes that were made under his rule. We realigned ourselves diplomatically, signing new treaties, negotiating a new stance on the Red team, and implementing new economic policies to finally jump start the economic promises made a month earlier. We worked hard: a new forum, new government, new charter, new everything. Unfortunately, all this labor seems to be in vain.
King Death II left UED in a state is dismay. Inactive members, a lack of experienced officials, and little to no order in the alliance. This was too much for us to handle, and lately, it's been impossible for ourselves to move forward with these setbacks. (This is where the DoW comes in, I DoW on RL) To add onto this, many issues in real life have come up to where I cannot commit myself fully to this alliance or CyberNations at all . My good friend and deputy, KOwens06 cannot manage the Directorate on his own. With the lack of active and experienced officials within the Directorate, no government can be effectively formed.
As of today, 30 December 2009, the United Earth Directorate has disbanded. Our good friends and allies, the Socialist Workers Front, will be protecting the UED AA for forty-eight hours during the duration of the disbandment.
