I think you are projecting a wee bit. Citadel has spent a lot of time arguing over a lot of issues, but that one has never been a hot topic for us. I don't think any Citadel signatory supports EZI, but please remember that Citadel is a very non-interventionist group. We are a defensive bloc of dear friends. We are not the PETA of Cyber Nations. Your posts make me think more and more that you have some sort of wild fantasy about Citadel.

Do you know something the rest of us don't? I've seen no issues presented that would indicate Sparta and TPF would want to hurt each other. In fact, they are still allies via Continuum. I am appalled by your ability to predict the future. Do grace us with more of your sagely wisdom, oracle.

You know we'd just sign the same treaties over again, right? EDIT: I really do find it cute that this OP here seems to think he knows what's best for everyone else, or that perhaps if the non-Q Citadel alliances were "freed" from TOP and Old Guard's ball and chain we'd do something completely different. Guess what? We don't want to be freed. Umbrella isn't some sort of beacon of goodness trapped in a cage. We are what we are, and we are happy with our political position, our alignment, and our allies. If we weren't, we would set ourselves free. You do know that we have that capability, right?

From what resulted one might think that TPF entered the Unjust War for the sole purpose of making new friends.

We can't all move at TOP speed or The Gremlin crawl. Some of us like to take our time when choosing allies. This is awesome.

Uh... what? Apology/exit time. The only alliance whose name began with a "B" who was considered for Citadel and had an embassy there was no longer an applicant by the time Umbrella joined Citadel. Certainly not summer of last year.

Done, now please uphold your part of the bargain. Don't try to say that post is out of context, because you know it is not. There wasn't another alliance in that period of time that had an embassy opened that I am aware of.

My apologies - Dr. Dan actually does have some posts in that thread. I was look at a certain other 50 pager. Indeed you seemed to have stayed out of the MK thread - which, I might add, is really more one of the classic "where is Citadel going?" threads derailed by lots of semi-related discussions (yes, outsiders, we in the Citadel talk to each other a lot - some of you may find the concept of having real relationships with your allies foreign, but we treasure it dearly ) Don't worry about me, ol' pal, my keepers let me out for fresh air at least once a day. I'm glad to see you haven't changed either - it's nice having people around who cling to the ideal of "whoever is successful is always wrong and whoever isn't is being oppressed and wronged" to tightly. You're like the ying to my yang... but not really - I'm the pretty one. And my yang is too big for yings anyhow.

This isn't a load of "technically." MK was NEVER considered for admission to Citadel in any serious manner. They never even had an embassy. About that "durned alliance" that had an embassy last summer/fall. I suppose you mean the one you're currently in. If you'd like I can screenshot the post in the discussion thread in which you say you are against adding them...

I just took a gander on your behalf. Dr. Dan didn't post a single time in that thread. I see one poster who consistently looks pretty foolish throughout the thread, though. Who, exactly, aside from Dan, are the others you say might look quite foolish? Perhaps I can help dig up these posts...

How can someone take so many pictures of the Citadel forums and I don't wind up in a single one? I only open these threads from week to week hoping that I might be briefly famous by appearing in one.

The atmosphere in this thread really is interesting. No one seems to be particularly concerned about pissing each other off. This is not the Cyber Nations I know.

A better question is why do you care this time, but never before? Suddenly since it was VE who makes this announcement, it must be all about shaming the GGA? Come on, dude - come up with something better or leave it alone.

You're really stretching, Slayer. It's pretty common to make public announcements when someone who has suddenly become "high profile" is being protected. I have to wonder if it were a different alliance, say... TORN, that had made this announcement if you would have made a post like this.

The real question is who should rule their alliance. The answer, of course, is me.
