2.
What I want to know is why DF is receiving 23k tech? Honestly, I really doubt they contributed much to the war, and they had no treaties to any of the defending alliances. War profiteering via bandwagon jumping is not something that should be encouraged.
You really have no idea how much they helped us with targeting/staggering. They helped Aircastle nations keep MANY more TOP nations at war.
That was my thoughts exactly, I believe they entered through their treaty with Aircastle, who had enough sense to agree to the cessation of hostilities through white peace.
We would have requested reps and sent them to DF if DF didn't ask for them directly. So what does it matter? We asked DF for help, as this was our first war and we were very inexperienced. They were amazing and said they'd help, knowing they'd take a beating. I'm glad to see DF get reps here and if you send any flak about it, it needs to be sent to me and Aircastle, alone. We made sure they got some compensation for the damages done to them at our request.
You chained in offensively through your treaty with Aircastle into a curbstomp, forgive me if I and everyone else isn't crying over your lost tech
We asked them to help us. And it was most certainly NOT a curbstomp when Dark Fist/Aircastle entered the conflict. We passed on any reps demands we wanted to Dark Fist.
3.
Aircastle was absolutely perfect for performing the staggers needed to keep us in warmode. No one will doubt their ability to perform that action but outside of that they have been atrocious in terms of damage output.
Aircastle has had 3 phases in this war. Depending on when we hit you I can see your point. During round one we hit you 3v2 and for the most part based on your charts, lopped off 1/2 of your NS per nations from what I looked into. I was quite proud of what our guys did that round. Then the next round we volunteered to do a massive staggering of your nations 1v3. We didn't do much damage and just kept you in nuke anarchy. I doubt anyone would have felt good about that effort, but it served a purpose. We basically hurled ourselves at you in a pseudo-reverse curbstomp. And you made us pay dearly. Kudos. But it served a purpose and now most of you are still in war mode. Now we are going back to 3v1 and I think we are doing alright, or we better as it's pretty easy. But at least we got to experience warfare on level easy, medium, and hard.
4.
Congratulations on overstretching yourselves.
Sometimes temporarily overstretching is required to keep your opponents in nuclear anarchy so they can't redeploy while help gets out of nuclear anarchy. Aircastle was happy to assist.
5. Aircastle Announcement We don't like to post on the CN forums much. Just not our style. We didn't post when we hit 1M NS or 500 nukes, etc. But one thing we are proud of is how we have performed this war. As a bunch of rookies on the battlefield I've been proud of my guys and the way they've performed. So please allow me to brag just a little. This is also a call to all the micro-alliances out there that we can make a difference. Aircastle is officially at war with over 25% of all TOP nations, 52 separate nations (not counting TOP ghosts). We have been at war with a total of 62 separate TOP nations throughout this war and 85 total wars declared or 2.6 wars per member. We have dropped well over a hundred nukes on TOP and done about 500k NS in damage to them. It's been fun and keep on nuking! We may be small but activity is always a cure for lack of membership numbers. EDIT: We have 32 members.
6.
Your allies has put a gag order on your thread?
I have never seen such a ignorant comment made. I know you are posturing, but you just made yourself look utterly stupid, and you reflect poorly on your alliance, UCN. Now.....the amount of ridiculous NSO comments are also nauseating in this thread. I know you don't like my allies, but save it for your private forums. It's disgusting and painful to read. You could at least be half-funny trolls or even a little bit clever. Our allies know our commitment to them. They also know how much I hate posting here. You mess with Dark Fist and you immediately mess with Aircastle. Just because I don't spam/troll post like NSO members doesn't mean I don't support Dark Fist 100%. We couldn't ask for better allies.
7.
Seeing my friends getting themselves rolled gets me worked up; seeing rubbish alliances piling on the bandwagon when you're already outnumbered just makes me cross.
Listen Bob. If you blame anyone then you put that blame solely on mine and Aircastle's shoulders. We asked DF to join in our fight. As amazing allies that they are, they obliged us. Now our entrance was mandatory. I don't care what silly e-lawyers are out there that decide how we are to value our treaties. An oDP with Aircastle is all but a MDP. It is solely our discretion how we interpret our treaties and why we sign oDPs first. You can question what a treaty is or what CN's norm are for a treaty. But I could care less. Aircastle Government decides that for our treaties. Vanguard was attacked with no CB. I don't care if it was part of "the war". They were attacked, not involved, and I couldn't think of a reason why the oDP wouldn't be activated. I hate the idea of preemption. I despite it in fact. "Hey, I think they were going to attack me!!! I'm warring you!!" It's stupid and I won't tolerate that kind of crap. Once that took place we immediately when to Dark Fist to ask for help. We want to roll together. When we both declared very few alliances had declared on TOP. And we would have rode together in Vanguard's defense NO MATTER WHO WAS INVOLVED. I can't bold, caps lock, italicize, that enough. I'd like to personally apology to DF for my absence in this thread. I hate posting in the OWF. Now I'm riled up.
8. I'd like to thank Dark Fist for entering this war with us when we asked them. I couldn't have picked a better alliance to be allied to.
9.
all I know is that our midrange nations have reported having a good time tech raiding Air Castle. Keep up the propaganda though. It's amusing.
And I've seen our employees' battle reports and mine that say you are getting decimated. If you look at the naval totals from our wars you'll also notice you are the ones lacking navy, not ours. And don't get me started on the infra losses your nations are taking. Calling this war a tech raid on us is laughable. As far as I can tell the only real damage you are doing to us is nuclear and that'll end real soon, as many of your nations are under 15 nukes now after only 2-3 days of war. Ours still hover at 22-25. I know you are just spewing out garbage because your ego's are too large to admit you are getting schooled by a bunch of rookies.
10. Agreed. If you get any PMs in poor taste, gloating, etc, please let me know. I'll take care of it. As to the blitz time - We try to emulate FOK
11. Aircastle Declaration of War We value our treaties very highly at Aircastle. We don't have many of them for this reason. The Order of the Paradox's unwarranted attacks on our ally Vanguard were not taken lightly. Therefore we have chosen to activate our defensive clause of Vanguard of All Stocks Treaty. Words cannot express how disappointed I am in TOP. You left us with no choice. You declared war with absolutely no CB. We are small but carry very sharp stones and a quality sling.
12. Sorry it took me so long Raf. To those who question the nature of an Aircastle optional level treaty ask Dark Fist how long we had the oDP with them. I know Vanguard shares similar beliefs. Paper treaties with us always come late in the commitment of the relationship.
13. Vanguard of All Stocks Preamble The alliances of Vanguard and Aircastle sign this treaty of Optional Defense and Optional Aggression to make their strong friendship and respect for one another official. Both alliances agree to comply with the following articles and do everything in their power to uphold them. Article 1: Peace Both signatories agree to co-exist peacefully. No act of aggression is to be taken by one signatory against another, regardless of any situation. In the case of an unauthorized attack by a member of either signatory, the signatory alliance to which the attacker belongs to is expected to deal with their member, including the ordering of peace, and the payment of reparations to the nation attacked. Article 2: Intelligence If either signatory acquires information concerning the other signatory, they must bring it forth to the signatory which it concerns. This specifically applies to information regarding any harmful acts or threats towards either signatory, acts of espionage or any other useful information. In addition, both signatories agree to not conduct acts of espionage and spying towards one another. This includes both in-game spying and off-site actions. Article 3: Aid Should either signatory be under circumstances which require financial support, the other must provide as much foreign aid as possible, towards the requested sum of aid. In addition, each signatory agrees to not send aid to any alliance, which is at war with the other signatory. Article 4: Defense If either signatory is engaged by another alliance in a defensive war and requests support, the other is encouraged to help in any way they deem necessary, including but not limited to; diplomatic, monetary and militarily. Any assistance however is strictly optional and is at the complete digression of the alliance which may offer it. Article 5: Aggression If either signatory engages in an aggressive war against any alliance, the other is encouraged to help in any way they deem necessary, including but not limited to; diplomatic, monetary and militarily. Any assistance however is strictly optional and is at the complete digression of the alliance which may offer it. Article 6: Civility The members of both alliances should interact in a a civil, respectful and polite fashion with each other. This includes all mediums of communication, and government officials should encourage members to be friendly to one another. Members of both alliances should strive to show unity on public forums. Article 7: Cancellation In the event that any of the above articles are clearly violated, this treaty will become void immediately. Otherwise, either signatory can cancel this treaty, after a 72 hour notice to the other signatory, by stating the cancellation in their embassy. My apologies to Vanguard for the amount of time it took me to post this.
14. Tell me this PC! Who is Aircastle going to compete with now in the nukes per nation stat? You've destroyed Aircastle's will to live. On behave of all our employees I surrender to the forces of PC. We're in your bankruptcy court now. Please be gentle. Seriously though. This takes balls and I have great deal of respect for you. It saddens me that it has to be the NpO, another alliance I respect, but I can't think of a better opponent on the battlefield. I'm jealous of your casualties.
15. I'm a bit late to the party, but just wanted to wish FOK well. I know this decision was hard, but I think it's for the best. I can respect your desire for a unified FA. Classy cancellation as always FOK.
16. Nuclear arms races with allies is win-win. Congrats to both of you. Good to see friends of friends getting more nukes.
17. Just a silly formality Treaty Preamble The alliances of Dark Fist [ DF ] and Aircastle [ AYR ] sign this treaty of Mutual Defence and Optional Aggression to make their strong friendship and respect for one another official. 18. I think you have a very good point here. Who really knows how active we'd be should our member nations be called into a war. The only point that could be made, for any alliance geared in a military fashion, is that historically speaking those that have....say a lot of military wonders tend to be more active in war vs. those with a greater number of economic wonders. FAN and GPA being the best examples of each extreme. Agreed, but I'm flattered nonetheless. Excluding the top 15: FAN, Vanguard, PC, STA In the top 15: FOK, MK, Fark
19. I'm getting a bit tired of all the ODN insults. By now they must have a pretty big chip on their shoulder and I'd hate to be the enemy who tested their resolve now. I'm guessing the next war, curbstomp or not, ODN will definitely be their for their allies.
20. CN sure is a fickle **@. When MK sticks with their allies they are told that they are justifying Athens' bad behavior. If MK would've dropped it's Athens' treaty/CnG many would have called them cowards and fair weather friends. You just can't win can you. Athens is lucky to have such fine allies in MK and this further cements my opinion that CnG is an extremely loyal bloc. And that's one of the highest complements you can say about an alliance/bloc. And slightly off topic, but Athens has tons of my respect from when they went to bat for MK during the noCB war against the NPO. This PR slip-up won't change my opinion of them.
21. Do you realize that we really have little desire to be involved in politics on a large-scale? We mind our own business IF left alone. So just do that and we'll have no future problems. It is laughable to think that a puny unknown 30-man alliance like Aircastle could sully the great name of TOP even a little bit, wouldn't you say?
22. Don't play dumb. I had a great deal of respect for you guys until a month ago when I found out [OOC]you were trying to get my entire alliance banned[/OOC]. Do your forums contain a topic on my alliance where you talk about [OOC]seeing if you can get Aircastle banned or even mention this low tactic.[/OOC] Or is that not true? Honestly, we had good relations with most of Citadel, heck we are modeled after Umbrella, and I [edit]had[edit] a great deal of respect for your military power. You kind of made us an enemy you know. Well done. Did you do this because we didn't want to join Citadel? Sorry Vanguard for this off-topic post.
23. I think this was a great decision Vanguard. I support any move that cuts a tie to TOP, even a color treaty.
24. Is it a bad time to tell you that in about a week or so all our members will have nukes?
25. A Fistful of Aircastle Stock Treaty Preamble The alliances of Dark Fist [ DF ] and Aircastle [ AYR ] sign this treaty of Peace, Aid and Intelligence, to further develop their friendship and to expand their co-operation within the Cyberverse. Both alliances agree to comply with the following articles and do everything in their power to uphold them. Article 1: Peace Both signatories agree to co-exist peacefully. This specifically applies to information regarding any harmful acts or threats towards either signatory, acts of espionage or any other useful information. In addition, both signatories agree to not conduct acts of espionage and spying towards one another. This includes both in-game spying and off-site actions. Article 3: Aid Should either signatory be under circumstances which require financial support, the other is highly encouraged to provide as much foreign aid as is needed upon request, however any such request can be denied, if reasonable grounds exist for it's denial. In addition, each signatory agrees to not send aid to any alliance, which is at war with the other signatory. Article 4: Optional Defence If either signatory is engaged by another alliance in a defensive war, then the other signatory is encouraged to help in any way possible, such as; diplomatically, monetary and militarily. However any such action of support is not mandatory, and the extent to which it is taken is at the discretion of the signatory carrying out the said actions. Article 5: Civility The members of both alliances should interact in a a civil, respectful and polite fashion with each other. This includes all mediums of communication, and government officials should encourage members to be friendly to one another. Members of both alliances should strive to show unity on public forums.
