Who knew, doing things differently from how others want you to do it is ignorance. Doing things differently however certainly necessitates higher levels of communication then appears to have occurred here. One should also state the reasons for their support to make sure they're on the same page and it should be understood that things can change depending upon future information. Communication would be their fault here, not the decision itself.
They do however reserve the right whether to join an offensive war or not.
If this were a matter of just "doing things differently" I would agree wholeheartedly. In this situation the term ignorance is completely appropriate. ADI is still learning thats not insult but a matter of fact. Going back on their word publically because they felt RoK should go talk to their allies allies is just an example.
Couple points that are funny in all this: RoK and TPF have talked ADI just didnt know that, Warbuck seems upset that Hoo didnt do his homework for him and look up ADI's allies allies, and ADI volunteered to come to our aid.

As VA is in a similar situation (MDoAP with TPF, MDP with Monos Archein) we have to choose our side.
If you were planning to obstain from this war, do so, but without the grandstanding. Sure there are people here praising your conscience and standing up for what you believed, but Mutual Defense is Mutual Defense. If there are conflicting treaties, then be neutral and let your allies know this up front. Don't say one and mean the other.
Although I am against Rok and their side on this issue, I still hold friendships and allies there. If you truly considered them friends/allies, you should have treated them with that respect.
Take a lesson ADI from this man. Conner and I have been on opposite sides of one another in every conflict since MA and VA signed their treaty. We ALWAYS showed each other the uptmost respect while maintaining our friendship and our treaty.
FEAR your actions in this are noted, as our leader said choose us... please!

Though you came from a neutral alliance that is no excuse for ignorance of how things actually work when it comes to having allies on opposing sides. Good luck to you ADI may you learn from this experience and hopefully not repeat it with future allies.

I'll be sure to avoid treatying with UINE, ever. It's called a MUTUAL Defense Pact, no one cares about reason, you've simply committed your alliance to protecting another upon signing such a pact. This is why these pacts are taken VERY seriously for particular honorable alliances which don't just randomly MDoAP everything and pick the stronger side of their own allies to be with. Probably the best alliance to note for doing this would have to be ODN, and NPO of the past.
Okay not to go all elawyer here but that CB against TPF is for spying which is an offensive action. Coming to their defense would be required of their MDAP partners or those alliances that agreed to activate the oA portion of their treaties. Am I mistaken?

"The statue of limitation" and the "it was done while at war" amuses me greatly for the simple fact that, if thats the case, then why didnt TPF say to Athens btw we set this plan in motion and here are the logs of what we planned with ZH at the end of the Karma war? You cant say its cause they liked ZH because Mhawk seems to have gone to great lengths to show us they cant stand the ZH leadership. In my world acts of war are suppose stop, I dont know, when the war ends?
I dont expect MHawk to answer me but hopefully he is explaining this to his closest allies some of whom I happen to adore. Hopefully he is explaining how this wasnt an act of agression he planned, put into action, then swept under the rug when it blew up. If he cant then requesting military support of your agressive action and having allies defend your attempts to infiltrate and spy on Athens is just sad.
We all know most of us like a good war, I just hope those that come to the defense of TPF are actually defending the actions of TPF and MHawk. Its going to be interesting to see who stands up for this type of spying and acts of infiltration.

Congratulations to ALL members of ADI on your 3 months as well as your Alliance Strength milestone.
One of the great things about CN is every once in a while you come across an exceptional group of players that demonstrate the qualities that most alliances can only aspire to posess. ADI you are that group!
When I was assigned to be your Blok advisor I must say I expected to find just another group of noobs that thought having their own alliance would be fun, but didnt know the first thing about building a sucessful alliance. Wow was I ever so wrong! You had it all, structure, activity and a strong sense of community. Its been amazing watching you all grow and I only wish you continued success.
Warbuck, you are a strong leader that geniunely places your membership above all else. This is something that is to be commended. You really are the best kept secret in CN!
Yuurei, you are an FA guy after my own heart. Its true you dont know when to keep your mouth shut but I swear thats one of the things I like about you. Stay out of trouble and keep up the great work!
Enjoy this accomplishment I know it will only be one of many!

An alliance is truly awful when they manage to fail so badly at diplomacy that they end up at war with CSN. But, then again these are the same mental giants that attacked TYR.

I'd like to know this as well. This is the second time I've heard about TDO allegedly mistreating someone or someone's allies. What the blazes is going on?
Maybe in their world mistreating an alliance is an act of neutrality? Too bad for them RoK doesn't think so.

MA: 4: Never had any affection for you guys, and after going around to most alliances on the front (all of them except yours I think), you're the only one who cares about keeping the term barring Caffine from Echelon gov't. You may not like Echelon and you may not like Caffine, but I hate terms that impose themselves in such fashion as influencing who may serve in gov't.
So wait, you went around to all the alliances EXCEPT MA and after that in-depth detective work of yours you determined that it MUST be MA that cares about the term that bars Caffine from government and its because of them that term exists.

Valhalla-9 Lets see you have an alliance lead by people like CJ & Bud for starters, which gets you a high score as it is. Add in Kry and Akasha on top of that and you cant go wrong. Some of the best people in the game and I was fortunate to be able to call them my allies. You have to respect an alliance that values the views and opinions of an ally to the point that even on opposite sides of a conflict you can maintain an unwaivering friendship. They continue to maintain a level of maturity that is rare in CN which is only part of why I adore them.

Rule, you are one of those players I have a great respect for. I am sure that this was given a lot consideration on your part prior to any action. Sorry that things between you and your former treaty partners got to this point. Hopefully this will lead to lead to the USN re-evaluating their actions in regards to FA and how they come accross to others. Your a hell of an ally to lose regardless of the level of treaty you held.
